Decor piece

Bought a wall decor that was $50, and not worth $10. Very cheaply made, no bow, per photo…it came as a piece of ribbon that I guess I was supposed to make a bow out of. Flowers were too stiff to really ‘arrange’. Does not hang well. Ribbon for hanging is poor, and the entire piece hangs crooked. Last December my sister’s birthday arrangement arrived 4 days late and dead. I’m DONE with this company

not reliable- do NOT trust if time sensitive

I ordered these for a dear friend who lost her brother unexpectedly. Paid extra for same day delivery. The Flowers never arrived. When I called customer service they were not helpful. When I used the app, I will supposedly get $15 off on another shipment if placed within 24 hrs. Why would I order another product? Its a useless guarantee. Discounts don't work

No matter what... when 1-800 Flowers offers a discount, you'll play hell trying to take advantage of it>-- Their discounts often sound nice, but good luck trying to collect. -- I'm never using them again.

Horrible Experience

I don’t know how this company is still in business. I ordered a bouquet of flowers with a get well balloon and also a card with a personal message. They were supposed to deliver that very same day and I was never notified that it was delivered and neither was the recipient. I didn’t realize it had been delivered late that day until the next day by the recipient and she showed me pictures and the bouquet had no balloon and the card that was sent with that was not the one I had selected. Horrible. The bouquet didn’t look like the one that I selected at 1800flowers.com. I was really embarrassed by this because the recipient was my sister who had been in the hospital. I’ll never order through them again. They did refund me the charge for the card, but with how the whole thing went down, it was such a disappointment. It’s probably best to go through local florists for delivery of flowers. This company is NOT RECOMMENDED. UPDATE: They corrected the mistake and delivered the right order.

Missed delivery date

Missed delivery date , even after paying extra for it and then when the flowers did arrive 2 days later ( after going to Kentucky by mistake and then back to the PNW ) the flowers had been exposed to the cold temps to long and are now not blooming and dying......... When I contacted customer service ( very hard to understand the India accent ) there response and consideration was horribleI do understand it was not that persons fault , but when you pay good money for a special occasion on top of extra shipping charges to make sure , you should receive a superior product and service

I would give a zero but not allowed

I would give a zero but not allowed. I will never use this company again. Ordered Valentines order ahead in advance, notified that delivery changed to 2/18 well past Valentine's Day. Today is 2/19 and order never was delivered. When you finally get a live person to talk to notified order still has never shipped, cancelled order now let's see how long refund takes.

For the second time, they have cancelled my order late in the day leaving me no time to fix the problem. I'll never use them again.

Miscommunication

There was miscommunication on when my order was delivered. They emailed me "delivered" but the order was nowhere to be found. The tracking link never worked so I couldn't check the status outside of their email confirmation.They rectified the issue by sending me a new order. Initially, the same issue came about (order said 'delivered' but was not); however, we finally received our order about an hour after the delivery notification.

Don't By from 1-800-flowers

Ordered same day delivery of a large size get well balloons and flower set for my friend who was recovering from cancer surgery, I added a large size box of chocolates to the order as well. The balloons and chocolates were not delivered and the flowers looks just ok, way overpriced for what they showed online. Very disappointed and will never use them again.

Horrible and Health Hazard - solved

Horrible and a real risk of food poisoning! My husband ordered red roses and chocolate covered strawberries days in advance for Valentine's Day. He paid extra to get them delivered on time, even flex paid to get them a day early. We received the package two days later than the latest promised date, the strawberries were already fermenting, the chocolate was starting to melt, everything was warm. The ice pack had completely melted into warm water. The rose petals were brown on the outside and falling apart. The leaves, all fallen. We feel like we`ve been scammed. The price for all that was $133.72. We could have gone out to a very good restaurant for that price. We will ask for a refund, and if we get it, I'll gladly report it here.Update: Customer service wanted to "make things right" by offering a "nice arrangement redelivered to the recipient, along with a $15 Savings Pass". We declined, insisted on the refund, and we received the refund one day later. We are happy with the customer service for solving the problem as soon as we complained.

I am writing to formally complain about my recent Valentine’s Day flower order, which was preordered by my husband, who is currently deployed.He paid for the flowers to be delivered on February 14th. They did not arrive. We were then told they would be delivered on the 16th instead, despite paying specifically for Valentine’s Day delivery.On the 14th, I had to call three separate times just to get a clear answer. Your team’s first offer was to refund only the shipping. I clearly stated that I wanted a full refund for the entire order and for the flowers to still be delivered. After multiple back-and-forth conversations, I was told this would be approved—though it was made unnecessarily difficult.The refund process itself was extremely frustrating. We were asked for the last four digits of the card, then the expiration date and CVC. My husband uses Apple Pay, which encrypts this information and does not display those details—only the last four digits for identification. Instead of offering a reasonable alternative, your representative argued that a refund could not be processed. Eventually, I had to insist that they check how Apple Pay works—only then was billing address verification offered. That should have been an option from the start.To make matters worse, I was told I had to call my husband—who is deployed—just to process the refund, even though I had all the necessary order information. This was completely unnecessary and unacceptable.Based on this experience, I would not recommend your company to anyone. The service was extremely poor, the flowers were late, did not match the photos, were missing items, the quantity was not as advertised, and arrived in poor condition. On top of that, the order was shipped from another state, which clearly impacted freshness and timing.This was meant to be a special Valentine’s Day gesture while my husband is away serving, and instead it turned into a stressful, disappointing experience due to your company’s handling of the order and customer service.I expect this feedback to be taken seriously.

My order was scheduled for delivery on February 14th before 8 PM, which was fine. However, today is February 17th and the flowers still have not been delivered.All I received from customer service was an apology, but I was still expected to pay in full. That is not acceptable, especially for a time-sensitive order like Valentine’s Day.Lesson learned: it’s better to buy local. This experience is on me for trusting these types of websites.

I would give no stars if that were an option. I ordered an arrangement on an easel for my mother in laws funeral. It was supposed to be delivered at 9 am this morning. When I arrived shortly before the viewing began, it was not there. I asked the firector and she said they had received a phone call confirming delivery 2 days previous. The arrangement was never delivered and I received a text saying we are sorry we didn’t make your delivery please accept our apologies!!!!! The director said she has had this problem with other people using 1 800 flowers and never recommends them. I am upset, embarrassed and mad this happened for such an important time. I have used this company for years but will not use them again, this was just not acceptable.

Never got the flowers on the delivery date. Never got the flowers on the rescheduled date. Waiting for a refund that won’t probably come either. I’m thinking this company is a scam.

I should check the review before ordering. My roommate ordered me an XL but came as small. They def thinking the customer and recipient will not discuss but fortunately we were in the same room and this is embarrassing that they scam ppl like this.

1-800 flowers Deals in Bad Faith

I ordered two-dozen roses for my girlfriend weeks prior to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. Despite the order having arrived on time, they appeared wilted & the edges blackened. As we unboxed the sorriest excuse for two bouquets of roses ever witnessed, I remember thinking, “this was not at all what was advertised north was it worth the hefty price tag. She tried pretending that it was ok and that it wasn’t my fault but in my gut, I knew that it wasn’t. It was my poor judgement and naivety that lead me to believe that 1-800 Flowers was a reputable company with the customer’s best interests at heart, yet in reality, I’d been swindled and dealt with in bad faith. Upon speaking with customer service, I was promised a replacement bouquet. I had asked when to expect my delivery and was told to expect them before 8pm, same day. It was another lie as they were not delivered.After reaching back out about the delivery of my order or lack-there-of, customer service stated that the order had been delivered but could not provide proof of delivery. Ironically, that same order through the website’s tracking interface states that it hasn’t even shipped yet (expected to arrived 2/17). Rhetorically speaking here, why in god’s green earth would anyone want 2-dozen roses intended as a gift on Valentines day delivered 3 DAYS later? Not only will I never support this company again, I vehemently protest and thoroughly recommend that you avoid this company like a cancerous plague.

Slimy, disgusting flowers received

Sent flowers to my mother. They arrived late, then upon arrival they were slimy, disgusting and basically destroyed. The fact that a company would ship out flowers in that condition is absolutely unbelievable.

Ordered Flowers a week before…

Ordered Flowers a week before Valentine's Day. They were out for delivery and did not get delivered. No attempt was made... Got a call from the company at 6:00 PM on Valentine's Day, when it was really too late to find a local alternative. I appreciated the call that I will not get my gift until 2 days after the holiday. That said, past delivery issues has led me to advise others to not use 1-800-Flowers and I will not in the future.
