Nothing to recommend.....
They made it extremely difficult to get a refund...refused a refund actually! even though the parcel going missing was no fault of mine...luckily my bank stepped in and got my money back for me. So NO I cannot recommend AliExpress at all.

The "First-Time Buyer Warning" Review
The "First-Time Buyer Warning" Review"As a first-time customer, my experience with AliExpress has been incredibly misleading. I bought an item for less than £4 that was explicitly labeled with 'Free Returns.' However, when I tried to return it, I was told I would have to pay the postage myself. The return shipping actually costs more than the item is worth. To make matters worse, I was told a refund wasn't even guaranteed—they would 'decide' whether to accept it only after they received it. When I reached out to customer service to highlight how ridiculous this was, I was met with scripted, repetitive answers. Even my request to log a formal complaint was completely ignored. If you’re a new buyer, be warned: 'Free Returns' is often a myth and the support is dreadful. I won’t be using them again."

Case Number:2053807362466985AliExpress has refused to refund for incorrect item. The item is not what was ordered, I ordered a 2 inch wide Suspender, 1 inch wide was supplied.Clear pictures were been supplied showing the incorrect item has been supplied.Item offer included free return if not wanted.I asked for a free return, refused.I was asked to pay for the return. The lowest cost of the return from my normal postal service is £4.25 , the cost of this item is £3.19.AliExpress return Rules state "The return shipping fee cannot be over your order amount"I am at a loss as AliExpress seems to be breaking their own rules....Refusing return or refund for wrong itemRefusing Free returnAsking me to break the AliExpress Return rules.Used AliExpress for many years with the odd problem which have been normally resolved quickly. But now all CSA seems to be AI Bots repeating the same questions and never resolving the problem. The CSA say they understand the return rule … "The return shipping fee cannot be over your order amount"And then ask me to pay for the return !Spent four days so far and 5 CSAs. Their service used to be good ... but longer.

Not Even one star, i ordered three items, received only one, but paid all three. After several attempt to track, it appears impossible, aliexpress always send a link that doesn't work.

Do not purchase from this platform
Do not purchase from this platform. I only received a partial refund for a non-delivered order as they said I had to pay for postage, even though delivery failure was because they labelled parcel with incorrect address!

AFTER AROUND 10 YEARS ON ALIEXPRESS
AFTER AROUND 10 YEARS ON ALIEXPRESS – NO MOREAfter many years of shopping on AliExpress I no longer trust them.AliExpress now have dreadful and unethical customer service. In the past I was a fan of AliExpress having purchased probably tens of thousands of pounds worth of items over the years I have been purchasing items on there.AliExpress used to be a safe place to shop and if you received an item that was sub standard it was a simple thing to raise a return and provide a suitable description and back it up with photos.Unfortunately, more recently, I have received several items items that were definitely and clearly not as described in the written description or photographs.Unfortunately, things have recently radically changed because descriptions and photos are now no longer enough to return a misrepresented item from a scam seller. These days, AliExpress will often bounce back a request for a return by asking for a video of you opening the package when it arrived which is absolutely ludicrous. If you failed to video yourself opening a package, then tough, you can't return the dodgy item – you have bought it and you are stuck with it.Another typical response is that even then, they often come back with a response with something like it's a special or seasonal item or they still cannot determine what you mean from the info you have provided, so your return request is rejected.Basically, THEY WILL RUN YOU RAGGED UNTIL YOU GIVE UP.One of their other tactics is that if you have not responded to requests for more information within 24 hours, they will reject and close your claim. This is what they will write:“Waiting for your responseAfter review, your submitted material doesn't quite meet the necessary requirements. We suggest that you resubmit within 24 hours based on the suggestions, or it could affect the outcome of your dispute.”The sneaky thing is that this message only exists on AliExpress – THEY DON'T ALERT YOU TO THIS REQUEST BY EMAIL.Therefore, if you fail to see the message (that's what they want), they just close your return after 24 hours and you are stuck with a dodgy or defective item. It's all very sneaky unethical behaviour. They are on the side of the scammer – not you, the buyer. No matter how many hoops you jump through for them – you are completely wasting your time – you have been had by a scam seller and AliExpress have no interest in helping you.Even if you do try and respond to their ongoing requests, another big obstacle they place on iPhone users is that AliExpress will not allow you to upload an iPhone video, so you then have to somehow get them converted into another format that AliExpress will allow. If you receive a bad item – hard luck – “Customer Service” will waste your time with more and more requests until you give up.Ten years ago AliExpress was OK.Today it's become a hit and miss risk to buy anything on there. If you have never shopped on AliExpress then DON'T BOTHER – it's a gamble that the goods will be as they were described in the listing and if the goods are not as described then tough – YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.ONCE ALIEXPRESS WAS OK – NOW THEY ARE VERY VERY BAD.

Deceptive shipping refund promise - Order 3067804476664246
I have been trying to resolve this since January. I returned a faulty item only because an agent guaranteed an 8600 HUF shipping refund (Case ID: 2053807299000751). Now I have no product and I am out of 8600 HUF. I have received nothing but automated AI rejections that ignore my evidence. It is not just about the money, but the principle: I was tricked into extra work and costs based on a lie. This is unacceptable treatment of a loyal customer.

Terrible fake products that Aliexpress…
Terrible fake products that Aliexpress customer services will not service or accept returns or refund. Customer service ask for video evidence and then before you can send, state they have closed the complaint.

AliExpress service has gone downhill – No support for buyers
I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of support from AliExpress. I received a product that is not only defective and malfunctioning, but also arrived physically damaged. I have provided crystal-clear photos and videos showing exactly what is wrong, yet AliExpress continues to ignore the evidence, repeatedly asking for the same information I’ve already sent four times. It is a blatant stall tactic. They leave you completely stranded when a seller sends broken goods. Their demand for 'more proof' when the defects are staring them in the face is insulting and unprofessional. Furthermore, their logic regarding non-delivery is a joke—expecting customers to prove they didn't receive something is a task designed to make you give up.I only shop here when I absolutely have no other choice, and this experience reminds me why. Temu offers a far superior service with actual buyer protection that works. AliExpress has lost its way and clearly no longer cares about its customers or respects its customers.

With aliexpress you get what you paid…
With aliexpress you get what you paid for. And their bundle deals are great - the more you buy, the cheaper it becomes. If you are wanting stuff that lasts, then pay the money otherwise I have found nothing wrong with most items - just beware anything electrical or takes batteries. Also, aliexpress refunds pretty quickly and on their live chat if an item is missing, no questions asked, refund given. The only reason for not 5 stars is that most of is not top of the range quality, you are buying cheaply from China so expect that. Sometimes, delivery is very quick others very slow and it is hard to know if you have got your items when bundling because the order/s may arrive in different packages. Sometimes, re the item is not exactly the item ordered in bundles. Compared to SHEIN, I'd rather shop here.

Do not use AliExpress! I lost £428.00
DO NOT BUY FROM ALIEXPRESS,THEY TOOK MY £428.00 AND I RETURNED THE PARCEL WITH PROOF OF DELIVERY BUT THEY REFUSED TO REFUND SO I HAVE NOTHING!I purchased a set of car headlights from AliExpress When the items arrived, they were both visibly damaged and also had broken pieces inside that could be heard rattling and so were obviously unusable and not fit for purpose. I followed AliExpress policy by contacting the seller immediately, the seller initially failed to respond so I contacted AliExpress support, who advised me to wait for the seller’s reply. When the seller eventually responded, they asked me to take the headlights to a “local headlight shop to have them repaired cheaply.” I explained that this was not acceptable and requested to return the items. The seller then stopped responding again, so I contacted AliExpress once more. AliExpress opened a claim, reviewed the photo and video evidence I provided and agreed with my complaint. They informed me that they would issue a return label. No return label arrived, so I contacted AliExpress Customer Service again. I was told there was an issue generating the label and that I should return the package at my own cost to their UK return depot, after which I would receive a full refund including return shipping costs.I returned the package using Parcelforce and provided AliExpress with full tracking information and proof of delivery. Despite this, AliExpress denied the refund, claiming there was “not enough evidence.” I then supplied additional documentation, including proof of postage payment tracking details, and photos of the package both at my home and as shown in Parcelforce’s delivery confirmation to the AliExpress UK depot in Hayes, London.AliExpress refused my £428.00 refund even though I provided all evidence that I had returned the parcel. So they took my money and I returned the parcel back so I have nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM ALIEXPRESS!

Avoid at all costs
I recently had a very disappointing experience with AliExpress’s buyer protection process.I received a product that was not as described and provided clear supporting evidence. Despite this, my claim was repeatedly rejected and I was instructed to return an item that could not reasonably be returned once used for its intended purpose. The key details of my case were repeatedly overlooked during escalation.I was ultimately told to deal directly with the seller rather than having the issue properly resolved through the platform. To add to the frustration, my honest review was later removed. This experience has raised serious concerns for me about transparency, consistency, and how buyer protection is actually applied when a dispute becomes complex.Reply to AliExpress:Thank you for your response.I would like to reiterate that hair extensions cannot be assessed without professional installation. Once installed, they are considered “used,” but its only AFTER installation a person would find out whether the hair is genuinely human or synthetic. There was no possible way for me to discover the misrepresentation without installing the product for its intended purpose. This placed me in an impossible position. I could never have returned the item in an “unused” condition because authenticity can only be verified after installation. Also, more concerningly my review of the seller has been deleted. I took screenshots as I researched that AliExpress removes bad reviews. Explain that!I hope this is properly considered during your investigation.

LOYAL CUSTOMER WHO HAS HAD ENOUGH
After many, many years I am leaving AliExpress for good because of their dreadful and unethical customer service.I used to be a fan of AliExpress and have purchased literally thousands of items from them over the many years I have been shopping with them.In the past, if you received the odd item that was not as described all you had to do was raise a return and provide photographic evidence.Over the last hundred or so orders, I have received at least 3 bad items that were not as described. These days, photos and descriptions are not enough to allow you to return a dodgy item.If you ask for a return, AliExpress now want videos of you opening the packages !Even then, they usually come back with a response with something like it's a special or seasonal item or they still cannot determine what you mean from the info you have provided, so your return request is rejected. One of their latest tactics is that if you have not responded to requests for more information within 24 hours, they will reject and close your claim. Therefore, if you overlook the message and don't see the request for more information, you are stuck with a defective item. For me this is just playing dirty and very unethical behaviour. For every item I receive that is as described, I leave 5 STAR written feedback (usually within the day of receipt) because this helps all honest sellers and buyers. However, after being asked to jump through several hoops with uneccessary videos and more and more written descriptions and annotated photographs I have had enough of AliExpress.BTW if you take videos on an iPhone AliExpress will not allow you to upload them – You then have to get them converted into another format that AliExpress will accept. If you receive a dodgy item – forget it – AliExpress will just waste your time with crazy requests in order to wear you down.As I say, I have had quite enough of AliExpress “Customer Service” so once my Coupons and Coins are more or less used up, I will kick AliExpress into touch and try out a different Chinese online seller. There is an old saying regarding business dealings:“Business goes where it is welcomed and stays where it is appreciated”.AliExpress no longer appreciates it's customers.Dear AliExpress, you had thousands of orders from me over the years, but you lost me because of your own unreasonable and poor after sales service. Once the scam sellers become fully aware of how you treat your buyers, the quality of your offerings will deteriorate and more loyal customers will leave your platform. You deserve to lose each and every buyer who deserts you for other platforms.27th February 2026Just an update since I posted this - Despite AliExpress' response I have head nothing from them.I have however just received 2 late delivered items that in the past I could claim a £1 late delivery coupon for.Guess what? Now when I click on the Collect £1" button, this no longer works and comes up and comes up with "Collection unsuccessfulSorry, due to system issues we were unable to issue your coupon code. Please try again."No matter what time of day, or how many times I try to collect my coupon, I get this same message again and again.AliExpress, you have really gone down the drain. You have become a frustration and an annoyance.I can buy elsewhere - and I will.

Frustrating experience
Frustrating experience, package not arrived and address is incorrect on their details and no way of communicating to carrier. I Contact AliExpress and response contact carrier … yes I have. 2 more packages on order and address is not right on the order and I cannot update it. Carrier is not local to my region so no idea if they will ever respond as I am sure they have millions of packages so I have wasted my money.
