Missing food just deal with it
I order a lot of food from this app and more often then not I'm missing a dessert maybe a mcflurry or a milkshake or just a side but at the rate I order my account been flagged ok faur but every time Im missing anything i have to file a report on it and even if I drop everything including photos I'm still getting denied why tf would I continue to order from this app if I don't get what I order and I can't even get refunded

Buyer Beware, May cost more than a tip
After one of their contracted drivers caused property damage. Grubhub only action was to ask the driver if he was responsible and willingly accepted the denial without any further investigation. Grubhub is happy with lies as long as it serves their interest.

This company consistently disappoints with late deliveries and cold food. There is not one reason they should remain in business. I can not begin to count the amount of late orders we have had at our offices. We are now officially grubhub free. For those of us who have a fixed lunch time we need a courier service that can deliver.

I ordered my food and was delivered to wrong place . Was reordered and took to the same place by same courier. Call customer care and hung up on me. Neighbor from another building brought me cold food and I was asked was it opened and I confirmed i don't know what happened to food. It was delivered to someone house i don't know like I was suppose to eat the food. I requested my food to be reordered and a credit was told could not reorder food. What amazes me is why give a confirmation number if courier is not going to follow Grubhub policy. I am still unsatisfied with the help I received and the delivery they never happened. So to everyone please use Uber eats. The drivers are competent and customer care really do care. I will spend the night writing this review on every website I can find to give one

They need to do better with who they allow to deliver for them, I get a few regulars who are great, but outside of them orders are late, if they even show up at all, the drivers never respond and customer service thinks a 5$ credit for that will smooth things over. No start holding the people you choose to represent your business accountable.

Enormous increase from last week a crossed the bored. Everything that I usually order has increased $3-5 per item from the places I order from. They already increase the cost of the food as a way to fleece hidden fees. Pizza I ordered last week now $4.75 more when I try to reorder. Wow!

I have a delivery preference for face-to-face delivery. GrubHub customer support confirmed this preference is set and saved properly. Three deliveries in a row the driver has left the food on my doorstep without even a door bell ring.

Habitually Accepts Orders They Can't Fulfill On Time
GrubHub's MO is to accept an order and provide a reasonable ETA even when there are no couriers in the area. They then repeatedly push back the ETA so either the food arrives congealed and cold hours later or the restaurant finally closes and GrubHub is forced to cancel the order. Adequate customer service would consist of 1) ideally, not accepting orders they can't fullfil in a timely manner or 2) if an order has already been accepted and cannot be filled on time, providing a full refund. Instead of providing this adequate assistance with existing orders, they hand out discount codes for future orders. This benefits GrubHub more than the customer, since using the discount code means placing yet another order with GrubHub. I am done using their service. From now on, I will be sticking with restaurants that provide their own, independent delivery service and care about retaining their customers enough to treat them courteously.

Something tells me my review won't matter. I see many have already complained about the same thing for years and it appears to still be a problem. I had a friend get me a $50 card while I was recovering from Knee replacement surgery. My first order was Wing Stop, I received my delivery time which was already a long time but I wasn't starving so it was okay. Got an update and it was going to be a few minutes longer. Got another update and by the time I got my order it was over an hour from the original time. So 1 hour and 50 minutes later I finally get my order. Wings and fries were cold. Two days later, ordered breakfast from Whataburger. Same scenario, wasn't as long as an hour and 50 minutes but my coffee was cold as well as food. I now remember why I deleted the app from my phone. Obviously they have enough customers because they are still delivering. I'm done with them.

They deny 'grubhub guarantees' on a regular basis, offering nothing but a form email as the reason. Each of the bulleted reasons is NOT applicable / demonstrably false. There is no way to appeal. The only 'guarantee' is that you would [have] saved money by ordering via the competitor's app instead.

The TEMU of delivery services
I’ve used GH on several occasions over the past few years. EVERY…SINGLE…TIME..there’s been a problem with them being able to deliver…EVERY TIME! Since Amazon has now apparently partnered with GH, I decided to give them a try. Guess what? Yep, couldn’t get it right yet again. Called customer service and got a moron that can’t speak English and couldn’t cancel the order. So I cancelled it. Then I got an email telling me they were deleting my account 😂😂😂 Fine by me! GH sucks and will never get another try from me. DD, U…all of the others get it right. Grubhub…the Temu of delivery services. They should just shut down.

We ordered dinner, first our order was delayed but understandable on a Friday, then I received a call from someone who said they needed some sort of code. In all the years I have used grub hub I have never needed a code. She said our food was delivered but it was nowhere to be found and no photo of where she left it. Waited for over an hour and if we reorder it will be another hour. The worst customer service ever when I finally talked to a real person.

So I'm a member of Amazon prime and through that I have GrubHub plus so I place order with GrubHub for Long John silver's tonight for two six pieces of fish two six pieces of hush puppies a sample plate My order comes I get two orders of 6 piece hush puppies and a sample plate and that's it My order was $60.35 I was missing $35.98 of my order so customer service the robot chat refunds the money for the two missing fish and then just ends the chat so I get back on there because I still need to feed my family and I want the fish that I ordered I didn't want to refund so I get an actual person on their customer service 20 minutes after being on there with them they tell me that I can reorder the order as I'm reordering it I'm still talking to them they come back on and said well I would like to read deliver the order for you it'll be about 39 minutes I said okay so she's told me to stop and not to complete my reorder that I was doing so we're on the thing long enough that she puts in the reorder I finally get the email confirmation for it and I go check and the driver that dropped off the first order wrong is the one scheduled to deliver the second reorder and then on top of that once I see that I go back and check what she actually ordered and asked her what she actually reordered for delivery she sent out and reordered the stuff that we received not what we were missing not the $36 with the fish but hush puppies and the Sanford plate so my kids tonight and my family ate hush puppies because GrubHub couldn't get it right and I'm back on chat again because when I told her that she was sending out the wrong food she was sending out what we received not what we were missing she ended the chat or roughly and just ended it no more talking so now I'm on GrubHub customer service for the third time and supposedly waiting on a supervisor so once the supervisor gets on here and tells me what he's going to do I'll do an update...

This is a free service with Prime. I stot rvice and drivers unable to follow simple instructions. Started using this app again and no surprise that it's even worse now. Customer service is based in India who regurgitate a script. The last 3 orders were delayed mulitple times on each order. Resturants begin "preparing" your order right after payment so you can't canel the order. Delivery is hours past the orginal ETA. Customer service will only give a $5.00 credit for this unacceptable service.

My first time and last time ordering from this terrible company
Terrible company. I placed order for my first time with Grub Hub while on vacation my order was $71.12. The order was never delivered. I was in contact with the driver who kept telling me I’m to far away it’s going to cost them money. Back and forth then they asked me for a pin I looked on the order gave them the pin figured they need the pin to confirm the order address. Still no delivery. Then they said they delivered to front desk I went to front desk no delivery. I contacted customer service which is a waste of time. They said since I have the pin that proves it was delivered they won’t help me. I’m now screwed out of $71.12 and have contacted the company directly hoping I’ll get help. No way will I ever use this company and I will be writing reviews everywhere. I’m a first and only time customer
