was really excited about this jumpsuit

was really excited about this jumpsuit, but unfortunately the fit in the back is very unflattering. The bottom area does not sit well and looks awkward, which makes it hard to feel confident wearing it. I purchased it on sale and cannot return it, which makes it even more disappointing. The fabric is nice, but the fit definitely needs improvement.

Customer service is awful

The customer service is absolutely shocking. Takes days for issues to be resolved. When someone finally emailed me, I emailed back only for the message to be undelivered because their mailbox is full! How can a company as large as this not have a handle on ensuring their space in their inbox to receive customer emails?

Abercrombie tries to steal your money

In December I purchased a sweater, the sweater was too big so I sent it back to the store as an exchange. I could see the exchange arrived back to the store however my new sweater was never shipped out. When I reached out to Abercrombie they would not help me until I reached 10 business days. I reached out at day 10, when they told me I was outside the window for them to help me and they could not send out the sweater, even though I had proof it had been delivered back to them weeks earlier and had reached out twice inbetween. Reluctantly they refunded my order and gave me a 20% discount. I had purchased the sweater Black Friday so was disappointed I was unable to obtain that sale. I waited a month to repurchase the sweater as it had been out of stock. The new sweater was still not fitting right so I decided to return the sweater. Once again, I could see it was delivered back to them but no refund. I waited ten business days and reached out. I was assured they received the sweater and could expect confirmation of my refund by the end of the next day. This did not happen. I reached out again and was stated now that I’m out of the ten day window my refund can be denied. I sent them screenshots of my message with the other customer service person and she claimed he is misinformed. She wanted me to reach back out 5 days later. I refused and demanded my refund as that would put me at 14 business days, when they clearly state 10. They proceeded to send me a screenshot that they had received my merchandise but still refused to refund my money. After a long back and fourth conversation they refunded and offered me 20% off my next purchase for my trouble. I l politely declined. I am shocked now looking in to Abercrombie this is normal behaviour for this company. I am stunned consumers are still buying from them. I will never ever buy from here again.

Placed an order paying £5.95 for next day delivery . The item did not arrive next day but later . I emailed and chatted online but nobody answered as I have requested for a refund on the delivery cost . Very very poor customer service. Its no good marketing goods if you cannot be available when anything goes wrong . Very disappointing

Poor customer service

I would give this company 0. I returned two pairs of jeans and not had a refund. I then had another delivery of the same jeans, apparently it was an IT glitch and warehouse problems. To get a full refund I have to return these again at my cost!!! What a faff. Customer service is of no help, e-mail only with no resolution. No telephone contact and no one to speak to. Awful company.

I ordered 2 gift cards for Christmas on…

I ordered 2 gift cards for Christmas on Dec. 13th. One showed up, the other did not. Okay fine. Talk to the company. No problem, right? PROBLEM. A problem reported on the 23rd of December took until the 2nd week of January to resolve. I had 5 or more chats (I lost count) and was lied to on multiple occasions about when the problem would be fixed. Eventually the situation was resolved after hours of chatting and phone calls. The simple solution that eventually solved the problem could have been implemented during the 1st chat or the 2nd or... Never again!

The quality of clothing has gone very downhill. Went to return items at the post office and they told me because i only had one qr i can’t return all three items like a n f said. Spent half an hour online to someone called alphie to be told that the same thing. They could have told me that after one min. Really busy today places like asos give you 2 qr’s for an instance like this and it’s easy won’t shop at a n f ever again

Impossible Refund

I ordered a skirt that showed it would be an in store pick up the next day, I get there and it wasn’t in stock so it had to be ordered and wouldn’t arrive for another week-I needed it that weekend so I wanted to cancel the order. I called the helpline-the first representative told me she couldn’t cancel it while it was still processing. I called again because I don’t see how that is possible and somehow the next agent was able to request it to be canceled and told me my refund would be processed as well. Here I am two weeks later I call again and the THIRD representative tells me the second guy only requested a cancellation not a refund well if my item is cancelled why wouldn’t I just immediately receive a refund? Either way he told me 3-5 business days and I had him send me an email as proof. Also side note the representatives are in a call center in India so they aren’t able to escalate any upset clients or send you to a manager. Hoping my refund actually comes, pretty crappy for a company that thrives on being “American”.

Chad Kegelmayer has very poor customer service as a manager. I bought a jacket for my daughter for Christmas and it did not fit right and again they have a 30 day policy but due to the holiday season and my daughter living out of town they could’ve made an exception he showed no compassion. The store needs to work on customer service and help. I called the customer service line and they gave more help and Chad did and he’s supposed to be the manager.

Terrible quality and fit

This company went from selling quality clothing to total garbage. The clothing quality is cheaper than budget brands and the fit is terrible. Their XL fits like a XXXL and wears like a nightgown. With the quality stitching after one wash starts pulling apart after one wash and no surprise they won’t take it back after washing

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. Actually had to call customer service via phone. The girl with glasses on shift decided to make up her own refund policy. After resolving the issue with customer support i read other customer complaints and it seems to just be an issue at this store. The staff have an attitude problem. I have attached the policy as the incredibly rude member of staff failed to do so.

Customers Beware

I placed an order on December 1 for holiday gifts. I received a notice that my shipment was delayed and that the items didn't ship until December 7. I was promised everything would arrive by December 15, but the shipment has been delayed again and won’t arrive until December 20. Unfortunately, we’re leaving for the holidays on December 19. When I called customer service, they offered to reship the items to our holiday address, but there was a catch—they would charge me for the items. I mentioned that I could return the items when I got home, but most stores usually reship without charging you unless the previous order isn't returned. Given the customer reviews, I'm feeling uneasy about waiting for my refund. However, I plan to return the items once I’m back home. I understand that they might charge me if I don’t return them, but the 20-day delay in receiving my order is not what they advertised on their website. Their customer service is international, and there are no supervisors to assist. The service standards are to make things up as they go. They charge for shipping, it doesn't arrive on time, and they do nothing to help you. I would not buy anything from this store. Please read the review before buying online.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STOCK

I placed this order for 3 matching essential sets. The tops were too short. I initiated my exchange, had to pick all different colors because nothing was in stock, then of course in true abercrombie fashion the exchanges aren't in stock. I just had to spend 45 min on the phone with someone who was essentially no help at all. he even called me by the wrong name. I had to cancel my entire order for a full refund which come to my surprise is $7 less than the amount I paid so now I have NO clothes and am out $7. This is just purely ridiculous for a company of your size and reputation. I will be telling EVERYONE how horrible your customer service is and to NOT shop here. I will also be posting this to my social media accounts and goodle. THANKS FOR NOTHING just in time for the holidays. I will NEVER shop with abercrombie again.

They basically stole my money.

They basically stole my money.About a month ago, I ordered two dresses online from Abercrombie & Fitch. The total was 876.63 SAR (about 233.77 USD), but they charged my card 876.63 USD instead! Here’s what’s happened since:• ⁠Immediate contact: I messaged customer support right away. They said to wait 8 business days for banks to sort it out. I waited… and nothing changed. • ⁠Second reach-out(after 9 business days) They sent a polite apology but claimed “issues” with my card and couldn’t refund it. Instead, they offered a gift card-usable online only, not in stores, knowing that quality isn’t consistent (and since I do not plan on purchasing from them ever again) this doesn’t work for me. • ⁠Bank proof: I got a written statement from my bank confirming they accept all incoming refunds automatically. I sent it over to A&F. They ignored it and just resent the same gift-card offer. • ⁠Repeated insistence: I kept telling them I want my money back, not store credit, and that they could do a direct bank transfer, to the same account or other accounts that I can specify. Each time, they replied with system limitations and the identical gift-card message. • ⁠Escalation request: I asked them to check their payment processor and escalate my case. Again, same canned response-no real answers, no refund.It’s been 8 months now, the chargeback requested by my bank has been rejected from A&F’s bank. I’ve contacted them tens of times by emails and twice by phone call (spending 41$ on international phone calls) no resolution yet. They admit the mistake they just don’t wanna fix it
