Awful service. I started a fundraiser and they demanded open banking which my organisation will not tolerate. So I changed to my personal account. Adyen did not change the details and I could not find a way even after contacting them. They just don't care.. I can't take donations which my clients badly need,
If could have given a 0…I had to call my back who was this and what’s the number. They gave. I called. Unfortunately we’re not available to bull shit you. Left message BBB. Didn’t have anything written. But 3 negative reviews. A different phone number. Called even worse..My answer.. this was the first number. But they needed to pull the plug on them. So thanks so much now your free $99 cost me only $134
Weird ahh sketchy system tried to get my shared on my bank or somthing didnt frustrate me a thing about it
Sounds like a fraudulent company. Was meant to verify my account, got every possible detail needed, keeps rejecting and rejecting and rejecting, no details provided whatsoever. Only when you earn bigger amount it immediately freezes your funds and keeps it to themselves stating that I need to be verified, but doesn’t allow any verification through. What a joke of a company, gonna leave me and my small child homeless by unlawfully appropriating my money
**Review**I chose this EU-based payment provider because I wanted to avoid Stripe and support a European alternative. The pricing looked attractive, but the product fails where it matters: accessibility and scalability. The company operates with a risk-averse, closed-ecosystem mindset typical for legacy German fintech. Entry requirements are opaque, onboarding is selectively granted, and small or medium businesses are effectively filtered out. Micro-transaction models and fast-iteration startups cannot rely on a provider that hides eligibility behind manual approval and internal scoring.Stripe publishes clear documentation, instant onboarding, transparent feature access, and a predictable API. This provider does the opposite: unclear access criteria, no self-serve activation, and no commitment to supporting smaller merchants. The result is a European product that blocks European growth. If you need a processor you can start with today, do not choose this one. It is not a Stripe alternative; it is a gatekept service optimized for enterprise comfort, not startup adoption.
We’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with the IT support team regarding an ongoing issue with Adyen integration. Despite multiple requests for a phone call to resolve the matter efficiently, the team repeatedly avoided direct communication and insisted on email-only exchanges—none of which addressed the core problem. The lack of urgency and unwillingness to engage properly has caused unnecessary delays and frustration. For a company that claims to support premium service standards, this level of avoidance and poor issue resolution is unacceptable.
Payment was made mistakenly to Ayden account instead of supplier account. Amount is still not returned by Ayden. when contacting customer service another payment needs to be made first to get a technician (while it's accounting) to relay the whole issue again. Worst customer service experience ever. In the midst of settling up. a new company. Any payment system except Ayden!!!
Horrible process, delete the company
Ayden work whit Vinted ho steal peoples money daily and they not doing anything about it. I am not suprice that they choose to work whit Ayden same discusting company.
Been trying for years to get my money back from Ticketmaster who sadly use these guys. I have uploaded enough really worrying stuff such as bank statements, ID etc and they still haven't paid me. Every 10 days I get the same email saying they failed YET AGAIN. It's beyond frustrating. They obviously never I tend to actually give me MY money. Eventually after posting on here they contacted me. Took a lot of doing but I did eventually get my money back. It shouldn't have taken years of fighting to get it but it is possible - so don't give up trying but better still don't resell tickets through them.
Stay away as far as possible.
Awful service. Requires an incredible amount of personal information (name, address, phone number, date of birth, email, passport, bank details etc.) and still claims they don’t have sufficient data to process a refund.
Adyen will not work with vendors selling less than 10 million USD per year. This information is not made public. It doesn't help that their sales team don't reply to queries to their website sales form either. If you're a small eCommerce vendor then don't bother.
Terrible. I'm trying to use my card from MBank Kyrgyzstan to pay for World of Wacraft and Adyen rejects my payments all the time. Only after few days I've got an another payment way and all was great. IDK why Blizzard still using that.
Adyen charged my Credit card with CHF 49 for an unwanted Adyen service. I never subscribed to such a service and I reported Adyen as fraudulent activity to my credit card company. The credit card company instantly blocked my credit card. They will further investigate this fraudulent activity. Adyen prevents to be serious but the opposite is the case. If you don't want to have troubles run away from this company.
Everyone in computer security knew in the summer of 2024 that the phone system is unfixable because the Chinese SaltTyphoon had exploited weaknesses introduced by the PATRIOT act. Even the FBI recommended that we encrypt all telephony communications such as FAX, DIAL-UP, VOICE, and SMS TXT. Yes, the FBI recommended this December 4th, 2024.Adyen and its subcontractor "PLAID" wanted me to give them my personal banking credentials and send unencrypted SMS TXT messages to my phone. They charge enough per transaction to have encrypted options for this.
My partner and I are beneficiaries from a GoFundMe fundraiser after a medical incident turned our lives upside down. Account and ID verifications go through Adyen and is nothing short of an appalling process !! I have held a bank account for 23 years. Their instant verification system failed and kept crashing. Their manual review process is a joke. No answers, no urgency, just AI generic responses. I just wonder where my ID and documents sit while they take their time to complete a 5 minute process. Adyen absolute joke.
WARNING TICKETMASTER CUSTOMERS!! If you wish to re-sell your ticket through the TM platform it goes through these people. They will require you to provide every possible form of ID in order to receive your money, and even then they will deliberately delay the payment by saying your details need review. It can take up to and over a month to be paid and while this is happening your details are sitting vulnerable on TM database waiting to be exploited. Do not forget TM had a major data breach in recent months. AVOID AND BE WARNED, PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY.
This platform is reviewing our bank account in our eshop, and, it's really painful. They're refusing to comply with the rules. Disaster. Avoid.
