Allstate provided a dozen fraudulent comparisons in my settlement. After a month of disputing, we agreed on a settlement. A month or more after cashing the check, Allstate audited the claim and now wants me to pay them $3,281.08.I have researched Allstate since and found that these fraudulent comparisons are commonplace at Allstate. Beware.

Been with Allstate since age 16. My home is less than 10 years old and was inspected by our fire department for clear defensive space and passed with flying colors. Allstate is non renewing and refuses to discuss my minimal fire risk.This is not a way to treat a customer after decades of loyalty. I am canceling my auto, boat and RV and to much surprise I am saving over $1400 per year. After the company went public they care more about their stock prices than their policyholders. Truly NOT in good hands!

I am allstate customer for over a decade and my first claim and insurance adjuster made contact once, after that, I keep leaving voicemails, sent emails but no reply at all. All she needs to do is call the rental car company to remove the maximum amount. They don't do bear minimum ! It shouldn't take 3 weeks to do a simple task.

They didn't pay a fair market value for my vehicle when my vehicle was totaled they low ball, during the pendenmic, when used car prices were 40% higher to replace.Adjusters in different parts of the country, different time zones couldn't reach most of the time voicemail. Very poor service.More recent same problem with adjuster. Was hit from rear by hit skip on claim they had I collided with other vehicles which was a lie. Did pay anything because I was making a delivery. So remember if you deliver pizza, or anything or using vehicle to have an income the good hands people are useless. That's my experience with them.

Very creepy marketing from Allstate…
Very creepy marketing from Allstate agents. They keep sending letters with pictures of the exterior of my house. I did not authorize them to use these pictures and both Zillow and Google do not allow such use of pics without the permission of the property owner. I have complained to Allstate but corp says they cannot control the agents.

Just awful customer service. We reported an accident which was not our fault, it took forever to get to speak to an agent, then they kept repeating questions, interrupting, and getting information wrong. Then gave us the wrong advice about filing a police report (said it was optional, which it is not in California for this level of accident). I will be switching insurance companies FAST.

Had Allstate for over 25 years. Two daily drivers, and my homeowners. They really screwed me over. Almost 4 years ago I was involved in a crash where a woman broadsided me, very young police officer shows up takes report does not cite her for the crash, because he claims “he didn’t see it “.. I didn’t worry, I was in “good hands “supposedly I had the best policy available zero deductible, accident forgiveness, etc. etc. three years after that there was what I would call a “mutual scraping “in a parking lot we are a very young driver scraped my front bumper. Absolutely no damage to my truck truck, zero, they had a scratch. The mother of this very young driver insisted on a police report. Officer came out, took Report, could not cite anyone. Once again “parking lot “, and “I didn’t see it happen “. Again I didn’t worry “I was in good hands with all state so I thought. My rates never went up. I will add that I have been driving for over 45 years, have never had a traffic ticket. Have never caused a traffic crash, have “safe driver “on my license forever. Last year I purchased a Classic car. Went to ensure the Classic car with an auto insurance company that specializes in classic cars. I come to find that the people who I thought I was in “good hands “with worked behind my back, quietly to sabotage me. While I was never faulted or charged with either of those two described incidents, because Allstate had to “pay something out “they held it against me. There was also a Windshield rock chip claim on my Daly driver, which they also hold against me. When they listed the two incidents(rock chip not included) in the computer database for insurance claims, Lexus/Lexus, or something like that,, they were very ambiguous. This creates a problem that got me denied insurance from the Classic car insurance carrier. Safe driver, zero points on my license, ever! No traffic tickets, ever and I get denied… it gets even better, after 25 years I decide to leave Allstate because of this. A friend recommends a broker. Bring all my documents to the broker, he calls me back the next day and informed me that Allstate still had the replacement value of my home, at the same same replacement value it was when I purchased the home 22 years ago. Which made it some $225,000 less than it was supposed to have been insured for. “Good hands “….I THINK NOT… not only did the broker find me a different policy for my homeowners bringing me up to the current value of my home, raised all of my limits of coverage, and saved me $1200 a year!…… I will furthermore add, that days after what I call a “mutual scraping “in the parking lot with a very young driver who cut into me, I get a call,, on a Sunday! By a woman claiming to be a claims adjuster for Allstate. I was at a family gathering. And this woman, who barely spoke a word of English. Was rude, and belligerent. Every time I asked her to please repeat what she said because I could not understand it, she got upset with me. When I asked her why she was calling me on a Sunday when I was at a family gathering, she said “I have a job to do “… When I told her chapter in verse how the little scraping incident happened. She flat out told me that she refused to believe me. And refused to believe I had not one mark on my plastic front bumper of my truck that was anything noteworthy. I informed her I sent pictures three days ago when I made the report, and told the first adjuster I spoke to that I had no damage. This person that claimed to be an Allstate Claims adjuster. Was extremely unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous. Very accusatory. As if she was working against me, definitely working against me. This is why after 24 years or so I left Allstate. Nobody from a management position bothered to contact me and asked me why I left after so long, just about a quarter century, of loyalty. They act like they’re doing you a favor charging you big premiums, keeping you under insured, and working behind your back to sabotage you quietly. I strongly advise anyone to stay clear of Allstate. They’re not doing you any favors. They’re not even representing themselves in a professional fashion. They put blemishes against you that you rightfully do not deserve. You were never ticketed or cited for any incident, but yet, they report it differently, if they have to pay out one nickel. Horrible company! NOTICE…… within one hour after posting this I get a generic AI generated response. I want to talk to someone in charge, a supervisor. Not any “customer care representative"classic AI generated BS response. I want to talk to a human

What a POS company. I'm an insurance agent myself, not for Allstate though... I decided do go with them despite reviews which was against my better judgement. Needless to say, it was a stupid mistake made simply on the grounds of price, and not "You get what you pay for" which is worth more than price when it comes to insurance. I've only been with them for 4 months and on the first auto renewal they increased my price by 20%, no tickets, no violations or accidents. Same policy, new price. To make matters worse they refuse to tell me how much of a discount I'm receiving on my Homeowners policy for having the auto as well. I bought the policies because the homeowners was low enough to just justify the enormous auto policy. Lesson learned, I'll be going back to State Farm with a slightly higher price with out hesitation.

I received renewal documents in early January, 2026. The quoted cost for my auto policy was $597.17 and stated that if I paid in installments there would be an additional installment fee. “If you do not pay in full, you will be charged an installment fee(s). “If you pay in full(includes Fullpay Discount) $548.77. I paid in full on 1/14. A couple weeks later I got a letter stating that they “changed” my policy. I called 1-800-ALLSTATE to get an explanation and was told that I had dropped the autopay option. I was repeatedly put on hold and not given an explanation as to why that mattered when I paid the policy in full per their paperwork. When I insisted on talking to a supervisor, she hung up on me. I called back and again requested to speak to a supervisor. This rep put me on hold and came back to say the supervisor was busy with someone else and she would call me back within an hour. I never got a call back. A few days ago I received another letter/bill with, now, an amount due of $30.40. This is obviously a scam to get clients to pay in full and then claim additional funds or simply a scam to collect additional funds that are not due. HORRIBLE customer service and unethical business practices. I will be changing carriers asap. Stay away from these hucksters.

BEWARE Allstate Roadside Assistance Program for very hard to cancel and is separate.
BEWARE. Allstate Roadside Assistance program is separate from agent. When informed Allstate on 6th that February 9 last day and not renewing home and auto due to their huge rate increase, girl asked will I be canceling roadside and I said yes as new insurance includes this with no additional charge. The roadside program debited bank account again after cancellation with Allstate. I learned hard way no easy way to cancel. Had to speak with numerous different out of country call centers and the last, very rude, barely understanding him due to poor English, same as others, finally transferred me via phone with someone I could understand. 3 hours later of calls, I hope it’s cancelled. Strange since Allstate charges so much money they can’t afford a proper English speaking out of country call center? Allstate client for 8 years. Allstate agents shared they have no control over the prices as they key the information and Allstate system gives the price. I liked my agent just not Allstate pricing and went with Farmers agent that quoted $1000 less for same coverage but 2% deductible. Allstate said if I went 2% deductible would save me $50. No brainer.

Mia bullock was the insurance adjuster I would not recommend. If you get this agent I would ask for someone else. The answer she was giving me the was not correct. Allstate is the worst insurance company. They have been denying everybody’s claim ,when the other insurance companies are approving the claims. Do not I say do not go with this insurance company. You will regret it. The other new guy called Dimitri Mauricio knows nothing can’t even take pictures rt. Took almost 30 days to get the quote back. sorry

I was an allstate customer for over a decade. I had one hail claim and they fabricated a way to drop me. They couldn't show me in my pilicy where it was written other than "at their discretion ". What BS zero customer service and boy sure know where their customers stand now! Sooooo disappointing!

Allstate claims in Dutchess county NY - We were told by an agent, ML, he/she said 'I have never seen any company take all the accident money away from people" Our first contact with her. Called several more days to try to get specific, cause lets face it, after a trauma, you need to rehear and rewrite, and so i did. AGAIN, we were told the same thing. When we couldnt get this Allstate claim worker on the phone, the phone was past on to whomever was , sitting in the office. We asked to speak directly with her boss, who refused to call, but basically said the claims dept is handing the process and they cant get to all information as this time as we still need to wait for ALL THE BILLS TO COME IN FROM THE ACCIDENT.OK, so we are now waiting for the rep from the health insurance company to communicate with Allstate. Vague information from Allstate from the health insurance agency, its like a big secret. WE CANT TALK ABOUT ANYTHING UNTIL ITS ALL DONE. well it's not all done....... The people in the accident were told they are getting a figure written on the document they are given, they have the party sign a document that is so outrageous, no date, no allstate office info, a signature page on the 2nd page. ALLSTATE Does not care about you or anyone else. ALLSTATE dropped the ball as ML was absent from Allstate on numerous about of days, we got several workers, some nice, some very cocky and unprofessional, we asked for the direct supervisor to call and no call made for clarification, just more smoke screens and magic tricks that make no sense. I called my agent to get to the bottom of this and the Dutchess County Office will not speak to the Agent's office. For all of you who have no idea, just like us, about a serious car accident and the word is Subrogation: is the legal process where an insurance company, after paying a policyholder for a loss, inherits their right to sue or seek reimbursement from the party actually responsible for the damage. It allows insurers to recover costs for claims like car accidents, property damage, or medical bills, which can also help policyholders recoup their deductible.Who know this?? We sure didn't know.... read up on it... quite insane. Unless someone has a million dollar policy, you'll not see any money. No one cares and they told me to complain to the Better Business Bureau. We are told by numerous amount of claim workers in Dutchess County NY, their office negotiates the amount of money the health insurance company will take. You think that happened?? NOT AT ALL ALL LIES AND BAIT & SWITCH. I'm not sure what the solution is and now parties are lied to, no money and I do believe after the 2025 year of Allstate lies and disappointment; ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES WORK TOGETHER TO ENSURE THE CONSUMER IS GIVEN $0.00YES< this world we live in is absolutely the worst. My friend was involved in an accident…
My friend was involved in an accident with a driver insured by Allstate. I am also his insurance agent. The accident occurred while both vehicles were stopped in line at a car wash. The other driver attempted to change lanes and backed into my friend’s vehicle. At the scene, the other driver admitted 100% fault.Allstate has taken the position that my friend is 15% at fault. My friend was completely stopped in his vehicle at the time of impact.We obtained video footage from the car wash, which clearly shows the other driver backing into my friend. Despite this evidence, Allstate claims my friend was “too close” and that their insured could not see him. Notably, the other vehicle was equipped with a backup camera. Initially they said he had room & should have taken evasive action, now he is too close.We presented the video evidence, but Allstate has refused to reconsider their position. Horrible Company to deal with.

I had to do an auto claim with allstate, they low balled the estimate by more than half of what it's going to cost me to get it fixed, I took my truck to three different body shops to get estimates and took the estimates to allstate, now allstate is ghosting me and not responding to anything. Worst insurance company ever!! Im surprised they are still in business!!

If I could give Allstate Canada a review of ZERO I would. The customer service is a nightmare. They give you the runaround in hope that you will give up. All I wanted to do for two years is update my insurance policy to record that the new mortgage holder to Bank of Montreal. The hoops they make you go through are a nightmare. They repeatedly make you send them proof, then they can't find the proof. Then they make you verify your identity repeatedly because they make you speak with someone new each time. They are a JOKE.
