We recently tried AT&T Internet Air for our business đ
We recently tried AT&T Internet Air for our therapy practice after a rep recommended it and initial speed tests looked promising. Setup was smooth and speeds were strong at certain times of day. However, we noticed quite a bit of variability, especially in the afternoons and evenings. Since we rely heavily on stable telehealth sessions, consistency is really important for us. We ultimately switched back to our wired provider, which has been more reliable.AT&T did handle the cancellation and refunded the hardware, but the service period itself wasnât refundable, which was a little disappointing.I can see this being a good fit in some situations, but if youâre running a business that depends on consistent connectivity, it may be worth carefully evaluating whether a wireless solution meets your needs.Sharing this to help others make an informed decision.

One Star because Zero wasn't an option.
One Star because Zero wasn't an option.Aaron Biggins (816-200-9087) walked up my driveway and caught me off guard ! Claiming he could bundle my wireless, internet, and Direct tv stream, I usually would have said " No Thanks" but I was expecting a different salesman for a different quote for yard work so I talked to him.BOTTOM LINE, I was told I could get a trade in for my iPhone from customer service after HOURS AND DAYS! calling and holding , they sent me return labels for the trans action. I wiped my phone clean per their instructions. I retired shortly after and took the time to look closer at my " BUNDLE" and three different charges were being deducted from my bank and the trade in wasn't applied. When I contacted customer service was told "MY PLAN ( 55 +) didn't qualify for a trade in. Then why did they help me return my phone if it wasnt going to qualify? why didn't they tell me to go to a different plan? When I called they ALL Sid that they "understood my feelings" but there was noting they could do.I canceled all accounts and offered to return the iPhone 17, they told me I was beyond the 30 return period so I will have to pay for the phone (without the trade deducted), and they "understand my frustration"but there was nothing they could do. So they expect my to pay full price for phone they told me I would get a trade in for, The "BUNDLE" was three separate charges for a total of $ 308.36 I shut off all at&t and switched to pure talk, starlink and a news package with direct stream for a total of $150. per month.

AT&T has plain worn me outâŚ
I have had AT&T Prepaid since August 2019, the reason being that I had just bought an iPhone9 and at the Sherman Oaks, CA store, and there was an AT&T kiosk open and I wanted to get my new iPhone up and running ASAP.Bad choice. Everything was passable for almost two years until I traveled to Nassau, Bahamas in May 2021. I paid an extra fee of $5 or $10 to get a monthâs worth of cell service in the Bahamas, but my payment was not applied. And donât bother using AT&Tâs software. Itâs impossible. My card kept getting compromised and I was told the only way to get monies pulled from my checking was to use their software to make the changes. Absolutely couldnât do it, and it Iâm reasonably intelligent. There should be stricter standards on these cell providers. A big boo to AT&T. Iâm moving to U.S. Mobile as soon as I can.

AVOID AT&T
Do yourself a favor, AVOID AT&T. Reception is terrible. Customer support is TERRIBLE. They will kick you around from department to department, no one will solve ANYTHING. They owe me over $2K, I've been chasing them down for over 10 months. All agents are incompetents.

Please don't do service with AT&T
I would give a - 5 if that was an option. Please don't do service with AT&T. They were absolutely amazing when i got with them almost 20 years ago and now its like communicating with a bunch of teenagers who don't want to do their job. They opened an account without my permission, pulled my credit without my permission, took money out of my bank account without my permission. About 15 calls later I still don't have my internet fixed.

I canceled my AT&T service. No service and double billing.
I canceled my service, because they made me turn in the modem that had worked for 5 years in my apartment. I carried the modem to a new apartment and it worked fine. AT&T said I had to turn in the modem and use the white cube. My computer would not work on the cube. They said to work with a technician to resolve the problem. After 8 hours of going in circles, the tech told me I had to buy a new computer. I bought the Xfinity contract at half the price of AT&T. I canceled the contract and sent the AT&T junk back to them using Fedex. I took a picture of the return Fedex Bill of Lading. AT&T just sent me another $200 bill for not returning the modem. I sent the photo back to AT@T. Be carful of these AT@T charlatans!

Trying to call for help is a nightmare
Trying to call for help is a nightmare, AI is awful, keeps hanging up, can never talk to a real person, would show payment received with autopay then cut off phone 2 days later for expired plan, then cost another two payments to get phone back on, have since transferred to another company, took two hours to get transfer code from AT&T to release my number and terminate my plan, would not recommend this company to anyone and I was with them for 30 years

I fell for the free cell phone scam andâŚ
I fell for the free cell phone scam and when I paid our phones off and switched to another provider AT&T did everything possible to keep me. They failed of course and could not give me a better price. I was paying over $250 a month for two phones. They have lousy service and lousy deals. Go somewhere ekes.

AT&T Scams-R-Us
AT&T used to be a great company but no more. They scammed me with my last phone upgrade by adding on a one time trade in credit supposedly reducing the monthly payments of the new phone. Here's the catch. I already paid off my trade in phone. Why was a trade in credit even added to the installment amount? What that did was make it look like my installment payment was lower when in actuality when the new phone is paid off your monthly payments dont reduce from the amount of the installment. Your payments stay the same. HUGE SCAM. and this is why AT&T keeps getting lawsuits. Avoid this company if you value your money and want a company with integrity.

DON'T do it
DON'T do it, I change from Verizon after 10 years because at&t offer 340 for 5 lines , 175 less, this is my second month , first month $878, second month $389, I call 10 times a disaster, still not getting the rewards card to paid off the Verizon phone,

Paid Off our iPhones and Rates Increased!!
After we paid off our iPhones our bill went down slightly, but only for one month. When I called to question why we now had to pay more I was told we could only get a lower "promotional" rate if we added our grown children to the plan or bought new phones. We have been loyal AT&T customers for 35 years and I was only asking for a $13/month reduction to match last month's bill but the retention department was not interested in keeping us as customers. Seniors only need 1 or 2 phones and we don't need to pay for new phones when our current ones are fine just to get a better rate for service. This company just rips you off!

Not so happy with AT&T
Not so happy with AT&T . I had a trade in device for the new iPhone 17 pro . I was told if I upgrade and switch my plan Id be getting the new device for $2 additional on my plan. Well that didnât go as promised by AT&T , they are charging me additional $30 on top of my phone bill. I tried calling getting it fixed and customer service sucks and is not trying to allow it to happen. If I knew this was the case I would have kept my old phone simple as that. Donât reel me in just to not give me what was promised @at&t

I had an extremely bad experience withâŚ
I had an extremely bad experience with AT&T customer service. This was honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every representative I spoke with was rude and unwilling to help. Several times, agents simply hung up on me instead of resolving the issue. No one clearly explained why my account was canceled, and they refused to assist me in getting my transfer PIN. Because of this, I lost all of my phone numbers that Iâve had for more than 15 years and also from my business. Now I have to print new business cards, signs, etcI have never experienced such disrespectful and unprofessional treatment from a company. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Absolutely horrible customer service!!

Before you sign up with AT&T
Before you sign up with AT&T, understand this: the price youâre quoted is not the price youâll keep. They hook you with one number. Months later, your bill quietly increases. No clear warning. No straight answer. When you call, youâll get what I now call âAT&T Mathâ˘â â a rotating set of explanations that somehow all justify charging you more. When you call, the real performance begins.First explanation:âIt was a three-year discount that expired.âConvenient. Not clearly emphasized at signup, but suddenly very real when it benefits them. Then when you push back:âItâs because your phone was paid off early.âExcept the phone was paid off early with a penalty paid immediately. So apparently in AT&Tâs accounting universe, something resolved months ago can resurface as a retroactive justification for charging more later. And when that excuse collapses, they pivot again:âItâs actually your internet.âThe same no-contract $37 internet that quietly increased without warning. Amazing how prices rise automatically, but transparency requires escalation. The most revealing part? After arguing long enough, they suddenly âfindâ a way to lower the bill â not even back to the original price, but to something lower than what they insisted five minutes earlier was fixed and unavoidable.Which makes one thing obvious:The higher charge wasnât mandatory. It was opportunistic.Every call feels like listening to representatives cycle through approved talking points, adjusting the narrative until something sticks. It doesnât feel like resolution. It feels like containment.Every conversation is a new version of reality. You donât leave AT&T because of coverage. You leave because trust erodes.Quote low. Increase quietly. Offer shifting explanations. Adjust only when confronted.Customers eventually notice. And once they do, they donât just lower their bill â they lower their loyalty. So the higher charge wasnât required. It was just what they were hoping you wouldnât question.Thatâs not transparent billing. Thatâs testing customer tolerance. If youâre comfortable monitoring every statement and debating your bill like itâs a courtroom case, go ahead. If you expect honesty and consistency from a multi-billion-dollar company, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.Youâve been warned.

I hate at&t with a burning passion
I hate at&t with a burning passion. Their customer service is nonexistent and the service is unreliable. I have been with them for over 20 years and it just gets worse all the time. Do not waste your time with this worthless company. Everything is bad about it. There is absolutely nothing good to say about them. I was having trouble logging into my account, sat on hold for 25 minutes, was then disconnected, called back, sat on hold for 1 hour before being disconnected again. I hate them.

AT&T DOES NOT CARE ABOUT SAFETY
Horrible company with no regard for children nor adult safety. I had a person moving a building down my road and completely took out one line and AT&Ts line hanging low enough that children and adults could get hurt. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get someone out here. Line went directly to their box. First time they scheduled an appointmentâŚ.no show 2/17/2026 then sent Directv out here on 2/21/2026 . Directv tech canât touch power pole nor lines connected from power pole. Called AT&T again. Scheduled for 02/23/20269 no show. Explained that Directv tech cannot do work. I was assured that they would send AT&T 02/24/2026. Get a call tech with Directv. Cancelled appointment. It is evident that AT&T takes NO RESPONSIBILITY for their line or the safety of customers. AT&T and Directv were partnered and now split so AT&T will not take care of any products, lines, or issues if you are NOT a current customer. I am still with Directv currently. Pictures taken of hazard but consumers beware of horrible horrible AT&T.
