Club champion Holbrook NY with Master fitter Dominic Altrui . Dominic did an excellent job fitting me with a New TaylorMade Spider Putter. I tested many different lefty putters with Dominic reading the results on his computer on how my putts rolled correctly. The results from my putts told him which putter fit me the best. I was very pleased with the end results!
I had a driver fitting with Morgan Carver @ the Cincinnati location. Morgan is a great listener and is extremely knowledgeable of the Trackman metrics. We tried various club brands with the Newton shafts, and I was very pleased with Morgan's final analysis. I would highly recommend scheduling a fitting with Morgan.
Darrell Hight from Clubchampions did a great job diagnosing and solving my putting issues. I highly recommend him when you buy your next putter. Matt
Went to Joe Hughes at Club Champion in Glasgow for a new putter fitting.From the first meeting Joe was a complete professional and immediately put me at ease as I was a little nervous.Joe explained how the fitting process would work. Firstly I hit a few putts with my current putter (Ping Ketsch G) then Joe let me try several others on the SAM Putt Lab which records all your data (club face etc.). The entire fitting was great and I eventually settled on a L.A.B. Golf DF3. I must emphasise that there was no pressure to buy but I ordered one as the price was the exact same as any other retailer.I also asked Joe if he could have a look at my current driver set up (Taylormade Qi35 with stock Ventus shaft) as I was not happy with the distance I was getting. After warming up he set me up on the Trackman, firstly with my own shaft then a variety of others. I settled on a custom shaft which not only gave me another 15 yards distance, 6mph ball speed but also much tighter dispersion.Overall I cannot recommend Joe highly enough. If you want a proper fitting go to Club Champion Glasgow, you will not be disappointed.
The fitting for my driver was great. David Russell spent a lot of time with me and did a great job with the fitting. However, I was told that the delivery time would be about 10 days. I received an email from Club Champion the day after the fitting and have had no contact since. I'm sitting on 2 weeks since the fitting, so I called and was informed that the components for my club were now available and that my club would be completed anywhere from 25 to 30 days from the day of my fitting. Again, I received no updates from Club Champion until I initiated the inquiry. I was fitted for only one club. Not an entire set. Recently, I was fitted for a set of 440 PING irons and received the entire custom set in 9 days. The one driver from Club Champion cost the same as the 7 club set from PING. I expected them to deliver as promised. I had expected to be able to compete with the new driver in upcoming events, but that's not happening.
Had a full bag fitting including putter with Dane at the Glasgow branch. An A class service from start to finish. Great explanations on the difference between the clubheads and shafts, and how I can improve my clubs as well as my game. They had an amazing range of build options and I came away feeling very happy and confident. Thank you for a great afternoon! Matthew.
Complete rip off on cost of clubs - I was amazed after buying their recommended iron set that I could have got the EXACT same configuration for half the price from my local pro shop !
Do not buy your clubs from Club Champion! I was fitted for a driver on 1/25. Ordered the driver on the same day. Found out they charged $200 more than it would have cost me to order direct from the manufacturer. They will not cancel the order, nor will they adjust the price, can't get anyone to call me back. Turns out they also ordered the wrong head. I have received no updates on where my driver is or when I might receive it. Other than the fitting itself, the rest of the process has been a complete disaster. Use GolfTec! My experience with them a few years ago was far better.
Had a putter fitting and shortly after a driver fitting in Glasgow. Having been to many top fitters for clubs before, these ended up my favourite experiences. Expertise alongside a good dialogue on what I was looking for leading to great fits in both cases. A great setup, tech and fitters.
Very poor delivery service. My build sheet was submitted on April 18, 2024. I received all of my clubs, EXCEPT for my 5-iron, on June 10. Since then, Club Champion has blamed Calloway, the head manufacturer for not producing a head. I have been told delivery dates of July 17 and mid-August. Now I am being told mid-September...more that 5 months after my order was submitted. At this point, they have lost all credibility with me, and I am requesting them to comp the club.
Been fitted now in the Glasgow branch by Dane for Driver, 3 Wood and Hybrids and cannot fault the service. Would recommend Dane to anyone. He has taken the time to get to know what I was looking for, challenges in my game and used this to build clubs that have not only given my gains in my performance but increased my confidence too. From booking, fitting, after care and overall communication I cannot fault. I will be back for other areas in the bag as well.
Had a putter fitting with Mike at Crawley. What he doesn't know about golf equipment isn't worth knowing. I went in with a preconceived idea about which putter I wanted but after trying out lots of different models and styles, Mike found me the putter that worked best for my stroke. Very pleased with the time he had to make sure I had the right putter and how helpful he was. Much better experience than anywhere else that I have had fittings, (and I've had quite a few)
Had a driver fitting with Mike at Crawley. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. Went there open minded and found my perfect driver.It arrived just over 2 weeks after ordering.Highly recommended.
Had a putter fitting with Dane and was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and understanding of the process and the resulting data. He listened to my issues, provided feedback to help me understand the data and the subsequent recommendations which all helped me make the right decision.
had a fitting at club champion on Saturday with Dane in Glasgow, very nice guy but the fitting itself didn't go very well. 6 times the clubhead flew of the shaft when hitting balls and was told "they are from America so they don't properly check them" it kind of messed up the full fitting session and did not get to try all shaft properly because we were running out of shafts. I was also told that they would wave the fitting fee if I purchased clubs from them but to be honest purchasing clubs from them was not an option when that was happening to the shafts. Wouldn't trust them to make my clubs.Overall for the cost of £100 and all what happened pretty disappointed in the fitting due to the shaft issue, they have a great set up and Dane is a nice guy but again could not get fully fitted due to all above issues :/
Went for an iron fitting in Feb followed by a wedge and wood fitting in March. Great setup and first class service from Joe and team.If you are looking for the absolute best fitting experience in Scotland then look no further than Club Champion Glasgow.Steve C - Aberdeenshire
