The TrustPlane Standard
We built TrustPlane because the review industry is broken. Platforms that were supposed to build trust became the thing businesses can't trust. These are our public commitments — not aspirations, but rules we follow today and will never break.
We will never create a profile for your business without your permission
Other platforms scrape the internet, create pages for businesses that never asked for them, let anyone post negative reviews, then pressure those businesses to pay to “manage” their page. We don’t do this. Your profile exists because you chose to be here — either by installing our app or by opting in through the directory.
Your rating will never change based on whether you pay us
We have been accused of nothing because there is nothing to accuse us of. Free users and paying users are moderated by the same AI, the same rules, the same process. Your star rating reflects your customers’ honest experiences. Period.
No annual contracts. No auto-renewal traps. Cancel anytime.
Every plan is month-to-month. You can cancel with one click, effective immediately. We will never send renewal notices from obscure email domains hoping they land in your spam folder. We will never charge you after you cancel. We will never threaten collections.
Your reviews are your data. Take them anywhere.
You can export every review you’ve ever collected — in CSV or JSON — at any time, on any plan, including the free tier. Display them on your website however you want. Quote them in your marketing. If you leave TrustPlane, your reviews leave with you.
We will never show competitor ads on your profile
Your company page is yours. We will never monetize it by showing ads for your competitors. Not on the free tier. Not ever.
We publish our prices. All of them.
No “contact sales for pricing.” No hidden add-on fees that double your bill. No per-domain charges that multiply your cost. Every feature, every price, published on our website. What you see is what you pay.
Same moderation rules for everyone
Whether you pay $0 or $299, your reviews go through the same AI moderation, the same fraud detection, the same human review process when needed. We will never remove legitimate negative reviews to protect paying customers, and we will never leave up fake reviews because someone isn’t paying.
Cancellation is one click, not a hostage negotiation
No retention calls. No “we need 30 days notice.” No surprise charges months later. You click cancel, it’s done. Your data export is still available. Your public profile stays up with your existing reviews. We part ways cleanly.
We will never gate basic features behind enterprise pricing
AI-powered reply suggestions, review tagging, custom widget styling, analytics, API access — these aren’t luxury features. They’re table stakes. We include them at price points that small businesses can actually afford, not $1,000+/month tiers designed to extract maximum revenue from enterprises.
We will never manipulate search rankings to pressure you
We won’t deliberately rank our pages for “[your brand] scam” or “[your brand] complaints” to drive fear-based traffic and then upsell you on “reputation management.” Our SEO exists to help consumers find honest reviews, not to create leverage against businesses.
API access is included, not an upsell
Your review data is accessible programmatically on all plans. We will never charge extra for API access or gate it behind an enterprise tier. If you’re building integrations with your own tools, that’s your right.
We will never charge per domain
One subscription covers your business. If you have multiple storefronts, multiple domains, multiple brands — one plan. We will never multiply your bill by the number of websites you operate.
Why we published this
Every promise on this page exists because a real business experienced the opposite from another platform. Annual contracts they couldn’t escape. Ratings that “magically improved” after paying. Reviews held hostage. Competitor ads on their own profile page. $6,000 surprise renewal charges. We’ve read the BBB complaints, the Reddit threads, the Hacker News posts, the class action lawsuits.
This page is public accountability. If we ever violate any of these commitments, we expect to be called out for it. That’s the point.
