My buyback was received on 06-19-2025 and at the date of this review it has been over a month and I haven't received my payment. I have reached out several times and have only been given false promises of date timelines. The last response I was told they were having technical issues out of their control. If they are not a scam they are the absolutely worst buyback company out there now. PLEASE STAY AWAY!

This company cheated me off110 dollars I had four books for sale they didn’t give me an invoice until after I sent them my books. Then they claimed two off my book they throw away. This company is not trust worthy.
I sent them my book and after a week I contacted the company after reading so many negative reviews,to make sure they received my book and to see when I would receive payment. They responded rather quickly and said that once my book was delivered it would be up to 7 business days to receive payment. On the 7th business day and no payment I emailed again to inquire about my payment. On day 8th they emailed back and said I would receive payment 7 business after it was processed which was 6 days after they received my book. So I'm still waiting on payment. I don't have much faith that I will be paid. From now on I will just sell my book to Book Run.
I sent them a book and never received payment. I have reached out at least a dozen times with no response. DO NOT SEND THEM ANYTHING. YOU WILL NOT BE PAID!
When i found textbook maniac offered to buy the book I had more then the other sites I was happy. Then after I sent the book in I seen the reviews and was worried as hell.i reached out to customer service and they responded back in 24hrs like they said and that made me feel better.but 2weeks after they received the book they paid.
Scam!! Shipped several books to them but never got paid. Trying to contact the company for an explanation is a waste of time. They will not reply and there is no phone number to call.
I Sold a Book To Them On 2/9/24 United State Postal Service and it was delivered to them on it’s Now 2/12/2024 it’s now 2/22/24 and I haven’t received any response when or a confirmation that they Got the Book..This is a Dishonest Company don’t use them AT ALL
I have to give them 5 stars. They quoted me a price, they paid for shipping, and within a week after me shipping it..The money was in my paypal account..They were also very kind in sending me a thank you email..after they paid me.. awesome !!
I sent them a textbook of mine. They bought it for 23. i deposited their check and it bounced due to insufficient funds. I was issued a fine from my bank for 12. They have not contacted me after multiple emails. I have no idea how to reach out to them other than filling out a form on their website. There is no email address or phone number. If anyone has this information please share. BEWARE!
If I could give zero stars. I would. Sent $100 worth of books and no responses or payment for my books. I should have trusted these reviews. Used other book sites and already been paid that were sent same time. This site is a scam. This is terrible. Avoid avoid avoid!!!
what does it mean when it says AWAITING PAYMENT? I went through book deal about 4 weeks ago and haven't got payment yet is saying awaiting payment no one is answering messages HELP!!!
I have not received payment after waiting over 3 weeks. There are several other 1 star reviews detailing a similar experience as mine. The textbooks will appear 'in transit' for a long time. Then eventually they are deemed 'damaged' or something along those lines. The company will then refuse to send the books back and you are left without your books and without your money. This is a criminal enterprise masquerading as a legitimate business. Save your money, save your books, and avoid these bottom feeders.
I still have not received my payment and I mailed my textbook to them 3 weeks ago. No customer service or email address to follow up on it.Edit: they resolved the issue.
Their service was quick and easy to use. I received my quoted price via PayPal within about three of weeks of mailing the book.
They have not paid for my textbooks that were confirmed delivered. These were 00304401 and 00304400. USPS confirmed delivery.I want to be paid for my textbooks.-- UPDATE - they responded a spam message below but even after contacting them on their website did not respond to me and did not pay me for my textbooks.
I have tried three online companies to sell books. Textbook Maniac is the FIRST to follow through. They paid me what they promised and they were timely with my check. Very professional -- highly recommend. I won't ever use another !
I had bought a book for one class for school and never used it. Textbook Maniac offered the most for my book, so I decided to give it a try. I asked to receive my money through Paypal. It took a little bit to hear back from them, but I'm assuming COVID's impact on snail mail is to blame.One thing I would recommend for first time customers is to be sure that you can package and ship the book within 48 hours. The minute that you place your order online, the clock will start ticking down. I was able to ship it within the same day and had no problems! I'll definitely be using this company again and recommending it to others.
I’d give zero stars if possible. This company is a scam. They claim they sent an email saying they couldn’t accept my book and they didn’t.they claimed to not accept international versions yet the picture of the book was the same book. They are very rude when trying to solve the problem. I filed a claim with the BBB.Edit: They replied to my review here. They did not help me resolve my issue after I filed a claim with the BBB. They claimed they sent and email, I don’t have proof of neither do they. They sis ether couldn’t do anything more for me since they disposed of my book. I don’t know what disposed of means, but they wait 5 days then dispose of your book if you don’t respond.
Textbook Maniac is the best place where to sell your books. Very good prices, efficient process, on-time payments. 2 days after they received the book shipment (free!), I got the payments on Paypal. Nice job.
