Incredible Curated Experience

My husband and I had an incredible experience working with Adrar EcoTours. I had read about the trek that they provided and reached out to ask if they could curate a tour for the amount of days we had allotted. They listened to everything we were looking for, especially a request to have long days of hiking. The company they chose to lead the trek was amazing, so personable, so kind, so engaging - the trek was gorgeous, the food was wonderful. It really couldn't have been a better experience. Everything was taken care of and for a reasonable price. We couldn't recommend this experience more.

Unforgettable experience with Adrar!

My wife Lakshmi and I traveled to Morocco with Adrar Ecotours in December 2025 with another couple from the US and it was a fantastic trip. Over the course of our 8 days in Marrakech, Chefchaouen, and Tangier, it felt like we traveled to 3 separate countries - each was distinctly beautiful and unique. As an LGBTQ+ couple with a lot of travel experience, we were uncertain about what to expect in Morocco and working with Brahim and his team laid all of our concerns to rest. Brahim took care of all the planning for our group of 4 ahead of our trip and made fantastic recommendations for the riads that we stayed in. It's extremely overwhelming to find reliable riads since there are simply so many to choose from and it's hard to differentiate between them. After discussing what we were looking for, Brahim curated a thoughtful list of recommendations for us and handled all of the details and logistics on our behalf. I can't overstate how important the local recommendations and curated list was. The riads we stayed in were some of the most stunning boutique hotels I've ever stayed in, and I don't think we would have found that type of quality on our own. In Tangier, we had an oceanside riad overlooking the old walls of the medina, with some of the best breakfast and service I've experienced anywhere. Truly unforgettable. In country, Ayoub made the experience seamless so that we could enjoy the vacation and not worry about the logistics. It was a first-class experience with private cars getting from city-to-city, and then we took the high-speed rail from Tangier to Casablanca (if you get a chance, definitely do this - it was awesome and so convenient). Navigating this on our own would have been nearly impossible since it's such a large country and we don't speak the language. You won't regret working with Adrar - they're top notch professionals who know how to deliver a fantastic experience.

Big thumbs up on Morocco and Adrar Eco Tours!

We are a 60-something married couple who recently made our first trip to Morocco, hosted by Adrar Eco Tours. We expected Morocco to be beautiful, and it exceeded that expectation by a lot. What we didn't expect was the breadth and depth of culture across the country. We had stops in Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes, Rabat, Marrakech, and Agadir, and it is almost as if we visited multiple countries. Casablanca is a huge metropolis with many Western-style offerings. We even had a white tablecloth, fine dining experience with craft cocktails at a restaurant overlooking the ocean. From the blue beauty of Chefchaouen in the north, to the ancient medina in Fes – be sure to visit the leatherwork shops; we came away with amazing handmade jackets and a messenger bag for my son – to the narrow streets and endless shops of the medina in Marrakech, to the Westernized tourist destination of Agadir (yes, people were surfing in the ocean!), the sights, sounds, and people were amazing. We have traveled quite a bit and can handle being out of our element, but we arrived for our tour with no functioning Arabic or Darija (the Moroccan dialect of Arabic ) or Tachelhit (the indigenous language) at all. As such, we found our Adrar hosts to be absolutely essential. And that was not just to overcome the language barriers, but also to handle the driving (Moroccan driving is an acquired skill, even for Chicagoans like us), luggage, and other daily needs. We wouldn't visit Morocco without them.Morocco is bigger than you might think, so be mindful of the distances. Driving from Chefchaouen in the far north to Agadir in the far south would take about 10 hours. Next time, we would schedule longer stops in fewer destinations to get the most out of driving those distances. Our accommodations were mostly riads, small inns that Adrar booked for us. Adrar did a great job of balancing our Western expectations – comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, etc. – with terrific local flavor. Our riads featured beautiful tile work, intricate wood panels, lots of tapestries, but all with comfortable modern features.Food is one of the great aspects of a trip through Morocco. We had the ubiquitous tagine, of course, but also experienced a wide range of seafood, vegetable platters, continental breakfasts, even a camel burger (tastes like beef!). Alcohol is not as ubiquitous as it is in Europe or the U.S., but in the larger cities, restaurants serve beer, wine, and cocktails. We were able to try a domestic bottle of wine, which we thought was quite nice. You will find the prices to be very welcome if you are used to American restaurants. We hosted a dinner at a very nice place on the ocean in Agadir for 10 people, and the total bill was less than $200 American. Not a typo!Adrar Eco Tours also hosts mountain climbing/rock climbing/outdoor adventures. That's not our thing, but when you see the beauty of the Anti-Atlas mountains in the countryside beyond Agadir, you'll be tempted to try that, too.

Great Experience

Brahim and his team made everything so easy and enjoyable. They had everything ready for us from transportation to lodging. Their guides are friendly and knowledgeable. My sister and I had a great time visiting and exploring, the souks and old medinas are amazing in culture and history. The food is outstanding. The hospitality of our guides and hosts cannot be overstated.

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide

We traveled from the States to Agadir and Brahim made our experience seamless. It was important to us to get a 'real' experience of Morocco and we definitely got that with him in the Anti-Atlas. Brahim was highly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area, and I really appreciated his ability to be flexible and read our energy levels each day. While he definitely made it feel like a special 'once in a lifetime' trip, it's on my bucket list now to visit other parts of Morocco and I'll definitely be calling Brahim when I do!

Amazing tour of Paradise Valley

Had an amazing experience in Paradise Valley thanks to our guide Brahim. Brahim made the experience absolutely seamless taking care of all the details and ensuring we were comfortable and having fun. My Mom is older and it was such a relief not having to worry that the tour would be too difficult for her, and ensuring her safety by calling out any somewhat tricky steping. Brahim took us to less crowded areas and really knew how to show us this amazing place- they don't call it paradise valley for nothing! Brahim knew all about surrounding area and gave detailed responses to all of our questions. The quality of the tour was more than I have seen from other companies and experiences. I can not recommend enough!

Wonderful tour of Tafrout and Southern Morocco!

I had a wonderful time touring Morocco's southern region! The beaches of the Atantic coast were stunning, but the real highlight for me were the gorgeous Anti-aAtlas mountains. I enjoyed hiking through this picturesque landscape and exploring the beautiful nature of the region. The area is home to Amazigh (indigenous) people with a rich history and culture. The architecture of old forts is captivating, as is the intricate embroidery of the traditional dress in Tafrout. Traditional Ahawach dance and music is enchanting and the local foods such as mosimon, a fried bread sometimes sweet and topped with honey, or savory and filled with onions and peppers is certainly worth trying! I would highly recommend a trip to southern Morocco!

Great trip to Agadir!

Great experience and would really recommend! I am an older female traveler and greatly appreciated how my trip was customized to my interests and ability level! Brahim made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and everything was organized smoothly. I loved my tour in Agadir and the Tiznit region!

Landscape and peuple

A trek of several days in the Tafraoute area (Gorges d'Ait-Mansour, Tagdicht, Taroudant, Anamr) left me with nothing but good memories. The judicious choice of accommodation meant that the trek was well suited to the participants. Brahim, as “master of the place”, was able to amaze us by showing us authentic landscapes and villages, far from the hyper-touristic places. His kindness, humor, anecdotes and constant presence made this trip unforgettable.
