I just want to say to be very weary of…
I just want to say to be very weary of this company. I called them about being moved and said I wasn’t sure but they said that I had plenty of time and that I would have a 30 day refund refundable deposit is what I was promised and I trusted the guy and paid $1100 and then bold black on the contract he still had in the 48 hour thing even though he put a code in underneath the deposit saying that that stood for a 30 day full refund and they will not give me my money back now and I called after four days now that I wasn’t moving just be weary. Know that they will lie to get you to put a deposit down I don’t get my $1100 back, but I am going to put these reviews out there that they will lie to you to get you to sign. I even asked for half my money back and they still won’t do that either services never rendered and will never be rendered because I won’t use them. They can take my money and shove it and I’m sure they will laugh at this review when they read it.

Avoid Allegiance Van Lines – They are brokers, not movers, demand excessive upfront payments, cancel jobs, and refuse refunds. Total scam.
Avoid Allegiance Van Lines - They are brokers, not movers, demand excessive upfront payments, cancel jobs, and refuse refunds. Do not believe the good reviews, these are autogenerated by bots. Total scam business!!!!This has taken me a while to write, since I typically do not do reviews. However, hopefully my review will help at least one person to avoid what I went through.Warning to Readers: Do not trust Allegiance Van Lines. They misrepresent themselves as a moving company when they are actually brokers, demand excessive upfront payments, and then cancel moves without refunding customers. Their representatives use aggressive, deceptive tactics to avoid accountability, leaving customers stranded and out thousands of dollars. If you are considering this company, protect yourself and look elsewhere. This is a high level account of my experience with Allegiance Van Lines, highlighting misrepresentation of services, deceptive payment demands, a canceled move, and refusal to issue refunds. Despite assurances that they operated their own trucks, Allegiance brokered my move to a third party, demanded nearly full payment upfront, and then canceled without notice. Multiple company representatives used aggressive and misleading tactics to avoid accountability, leaving me out significant funds and scrambling to resolve my move at the last minute.Misrepresentation: Sales rep falsely claimed Allegiance owned trucks and did not broker jobs. In reality, all moves are outsourced through third-party brokers, confirmed by outsourced representative, who handles Allegiance’s billing and dispatch/logistics.• Payments & Timeline:o $600 deposit made credit card o $793 deposit made credit cardo $2,158.33 wired transferred - Allegiance demanded ~90% of the balance before pickup, violating their own protocol (should have been 70% per agreement).• Breach of Agreement / Canceled Move:o Move was scheduled for 12/7/24, two days prior to my move, JH Logistics who Allegiance brokered to do my move informed me that Allegiance canceled the move with JH Logistics (the brokered mover) because JH Logistics would not agree to Allegiance’s payment amount.• Deceptive Tactics:o Allegiance later denied canceling the move since they directly did not cancel the move with me. There tactic is to cancel a move with the brokers, have the brokers inform the customers so that they can claim that they never canceled the move since they do not deal directly with customers for logistics.o The Allegiance representative when I confronted them about canceling my move and requesting a refund, they became hostile.• Business Practices:o False advertising: Claiming to be a carrier when they are only brokers.o Shady dispatching: Customers unknowingly deal with outsourced logistics companies, not Allegiance staff.o Outsourcing to avoid accountability: They rely on third parties to deliver cancellations and shield themselves from liability.o Manipulated paperwork: Bill of Lading initially did not reflect the full payment already made, until I had them correct the bill of lading. Otherwise, it would have not shown all the payments I made. All I can say, is STAY AWAY!

Lies, scams, frauds
Lies from the beginning. Salesman intentionally gives low bid, based upon underestimating size of move, knowing they intend to jack up the cost after you're locked in and have no alternative, then pressures you to sign and deposit 35 percent. Says he'll be there for me from start to finish, then disappears when help is needed or claims he has no authority to do anything helpful. Says they're a "direct carrier" - and calls every other company bidding "scammers" - and then isn't, subcontracting the work to another carrier, who jacks up the costs more, and isn't bound by any contractual representation or requirement for objective proof on size of move. Dispatch promised arrival of their guys, when none were coming. Allegiance was either actively in conspiracy or complicit in letting their subcontractor run roughshod over me on moving day, extorting me for a cash payment well beyond the contract price, while Allegiance rep stood by and said nothing. Horrible communication. Never contacted me to tell me what was going on. I always had to call and text them to get updates, which they only occasionally responded to. And then treated me like the enemy for wanting to know when my stuff would be picked up and when it would be delivered. They unleashed a slough of insults and even engaged in some stalking behavior, probably because I can read a contract and was willing to call them out when they mispresented what was in our contract. They actually play a cat-and-mouse game with their contract, calling it just an "estimate" when they want to change the terms, and calling it a binding contract when they want to use it against you. They will even engage in a fraudulent act of essentially forging your name on a contract you don't agree to. There were terms in their contract I didn't like, changed on an editable form they sent me (and advised them of my changes), but in the course of signing electronically, their algorithm stripped out all my changes. When I contacted them about it, they basically told me to pound sand - they've been in business 12 years and they know what they can get away with. A move they originally bid at $2,900 wound up costing me around $6,500. The move itself went from being scheduled for pick up on June 29, with deliver in 3-5 days, to a late pickup (even with their claimed "two-day window") late on July 31, to a late delivery on July 15, and each time requiring me to pay additional cash (again, over and above the contract price) before they would pickup, and before they would deliver, threatening each time to either not perform and later to charge exorbitant storage fees if I did not pay cash on the spot. A final note: they advertise a "no-risk deposit." It isn't. All it is is a 48-hour period of time after making deposit to change your mind. After that, when you figure out how they're taking advantage of you and want your money back to go with another carrier, they refuse to refund your deposit. As you can guess, I strongly urge you not to sign up with Allegiance Van Lines.

Lies from the beginning
Lies from the beginning. Never picked up on time, added cost that was not part of the contract, didn't deliver on time. Took money they ended up having to return but added charges than wanted additional money to make the delivery. Note we ended up with 3 different shipping companies and never could get satisfaction from anyone on the phone. Do not use this was the worst experience we have ever had.

SCAM ARTISTS
Avoid this company at all costs. Nothing but a pack of lies. Was told our stuff would be delivered in 3-4 days, 7 days max and it ended up being 20 days. Said they don't give "quotes" they give solid "invoices" - BS, final bill ended up being $2200 more. Said they would not broker load to another carrier, BS again-Another horrible company called Moving Logistic showed up to pick up our stuff. They brokered it out day one to a company we didn't even know about. Said our stuff would not be intermingled with anything else throughout the process - BS again. When truck showed up there was already someone else's stuff on it. Said our stuff would only be hauled on AVL trucks and handled by AVL staff. As mentioned earlier - BS - they brokered it out day one. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your business and after that good luck. DO NOT USE THEM

Allegiance Van Lines is a SCAM & rude. DO NOT USE.
Allegiance Van Lines is a SCAM. I gave them a $700 deposit after they assured me that they are not a moving broker which is BS. They hired some small guy to do my move but I refused to give them any more money. I found out that they have only 1 registered vehicle and it is in Florida so not possible for them to move me from Washington to Texas without brokering it out. They are also very rude when you start to confront them. They told me they would call me back in 20 minutes ... they didn't. They would hang up on me and even sent me nasty text messages calling me a liar. They lied to me telling me that it is normal for moving companies to only take wire transfers and that my transfer would be protected. NOT TRUE. And, their insurance has expired. I could go on and on about how bad this company is.

Rude and with ‘tude
They seemed great at first on the phone and my initial review of their reviews pointed to them being a reputable “award winning” mover. I was directed to them via an online consolidator. I was about to sign the agreement when I waffled on the size of the space on the truck….I called my dedicated customer service guy and when I told him i needed to review my inventory and rethink the size of the truck, which would mean delaying the move 2 weeks….before i could even get the latter part out he yells into the phone “what a waste of time” and hangs up. We continue our conversation via text and once he reads my text that i was looking to just delay two weeks, he briefly becomes apologetic, but then proceeds to tell me that he cant help me in two weeks, and he only has time for “serious clients”. That’s the real irony, he was directed to me and solicited my business through an online quote consolidation process…then has the nerve to infer that I’m not serious….What I am serious about is that they will not get my business, thank goodness, because after reading some of the reviews on google it sounds like they’re pretty bad…fortunately the jerk on the other end of the line prevented me from ever having to deal with them in earnest…UPDATE: 8/26Apparently, this company that I reviewed appeal to trust pilot to pull this review. After one day, trust pilot deemed it acceptable and reposted it. Since I posted the original review in June, it appears that many more people have had similar experiences. They can try to silence me but I think they’re genuine reviews speak for themselves.

It has been 36 days and still no delivery
It has been 36 days since they picked up our furniture. They have yet to deliver or give a date for delivery. They keep telling us beginning of the week, end of the week, etc. No one contacts us we have to contact them. Still have no idea if/when we will receive our furniture.

Complete SCAMMERS!!
Complete SCAMMERS!!! They gave me an estimate for 2595.00 to move my belongings from IL to MD, which I paid the 1250 deposit and when they arrived (late 48 hours) I paid the 838.00 origin charge and signed the contract. The dispatcher called me several times wanting another 3850.00 to move my belongings. I told them several times to unload the trailer they refused and sat in my driveway not letting anyone in or out. I agreed to pay the 3850.00 after 2 hours of arguing and failed attempts through PayPal as all the accounts have been marked as scammers. and told them I would not be paying anymore since this was way over the 110% of the estimate. When I asked for the paperwork to reflect the amount I had paid.. On Monday 3/10 I received the paperwork demanding another 2450.00. They went in and edited the original contract I signed and is visible through PDF of when it was altered. They added another origin and destination charge. They were only picking up at 1 location and delivering to 1 destination for 1750.00. So Now they are still holding all my belongings hostage until I pay the extra. Stay Clear of this company. They have over 78 complaints this year alone with the BBB and over 500 with the FMCSA. Not worth the aggravation or headache.

DON'T use this company
DON'T use this company. The company promised a delivery date +/- 2 days, finally arrived 13 days late. I received a text the evening before that the load would show up the next day ! This was an out of state move so I needed to get flights for the next day ... thats this good part of our experience! When they loaded the truck, the movers did not properly close the front doors and the wind blew the doors open , with no one in the house! Doors were open from 9pm to 5pm the next day before a neighbor noticed this ! We had to pay 100's of dollars to have the home inspected for varmits (it in Floriday). Then when the load arrived our beautiful sectional sofa was destroyed. It looked like every piece was dragged a muddy parking lot and is not repairable. This sofa cost well over $8k. Finally after 2.5 months they came back with a settlement for $66, what a joke. Many other companies out there do not use these guys.

Scammers!!!
We booked a move with this consent not knowing they are a “broker”. We were totally upfront with the amount of items to be moved. The initial quote was $2500 which seemed fair so we accepted. A about a week before the move we received a call from their “quality assurance “ dept telling us there was a “miscommunication “ and that the amount of space needed for our move was incorrect and the amount of the move was going to be closer to $5000. We requested they cancel the move and return our $700 deposit. They refused to return the deposit as they said we missed the 72 hours cancellation policy. I filed a dispute with my credit card company to recoup that money. I also filed a dispute with the National Consumer Complaint database. A day after filing the complaint we received a call from someone at AVL offering to “make it right”. We told we were not interested in sound business with them and just wanted our 700 back. The man said so if I return the 700 you’ll take back the complaint? Yesterday I got a call from someone saying he was the driver for AVL and confirming the pick up time. We told him we had cancelled the service, he said he was not aware of any cancellation. This morning we received a text from someone named Will. This is how that text exchange went. Good Morning Mr. Price, we had a truck en route for this pickup. And it looks like you were swindled by a broker called United Express, whom wont be picking up your items and sold you on a bill of goods. This is Will with AVL, you had the additional trailer space for any other items. You wanted to be billed for only 600cf, we can load the additional in the 16ft trailer on site. But you undoubtedly know you have double the 600cf. So lets make sure we know that.Remember your phone call with Luis when you all reserved.Subject(312) 724-7550 >Who are you?If you send a truck here, it will be turned away, and if I have to have the law here to do it, I willThis was canceled four days ago we had somebody from your company called yesterday morning accusing us of all kinds of things and even ask if we would drop the complaint online if you refunded our money of $700for the depositSounds good Rhonda. Seems like you have this whole thing figuredulletuve uayAre you threatening me?We wish you the best! You already lost the dispute, you booked with a broker, they will double you up move day.Good luck to you both. You don't listen.Next time to dont lie to the rep about your little 16 ft trailer and to only charge for half of the spaceDon't worry United Express will handle the reality of the move and cost for you, as you will soon find out. All the best and God blessPlease do not contact meThese people are beyond scammers!!!!

Allegiance quoted me an amount that…
Allegiance quoted me an amount that ended up being far lower than what I had to pay, even though nothing in my inventory estimate changed. Their subcontractor Meta Van Lines also repeatedly lied to me over the phone on when I should expect my delivery. It was supposed to happen on or around August 3rd, then August 5th, then August 7th, then August 13th, then August 15th, then August 16th, and now August 18th (but we’ll see). They’re also legally required to deliver within 21 days of the pickup date, but now they’re gaslighting me into thinking it’s actually 7-21 days AFTER my requested delivery date (August 3rd), which is false. I plan to talk to my lawyer about initiating a class action lawsuit on behalf of the many customers, who I’m sure they’ve similarly screwed over, and on account of their shady, unscrupulous business practices. Avoid this company at all costs.

*** Avoid this predatory moving…
*** Avoid this predatory moving company!!! They are a broker and not a provider and use another company talked Meta Moving. John Capella is a crook and will do whatever it takes to steal your money and not even provide a service. He is the most incompetent and unscrupulous person. My wife and I could not get a correct bill of ladle or inventory of our items. Each time John Capella mucked it up and was incorrect by a significant amount. With each incorrect itemization the price continued to go up. The pounds per cubic square feet were the same even though the cost went up. This is their so called quality assurance to try and get you on the hook for hidden and incorrect and inaccurate. Even worse if you allow them to move your belongings the time in transit will take much longer causing you to wait with nothing but the shirts on your back. We never received a call for a pick up date and have to move our belongings to a temporary storage since our house closed. We verbally and emotionally m writing cancelled since the bill of ladles with each increasing estimate was incorrect. John Capella and some other person named Lizbeth sent harassing text messages and phone calls to myself and my wife. If they were running a legitimate business then this is not how your treat your customers. No service provided therefore no payment should be rendered. They operate like a tow truck company to hook you up and take your belongings without your consent.
