I went in with an iPhone problem…

I went in with an iPhone problem needing to restore my email. The agent did it for me in five minutes with no charge which saved the day for me.

Read below before you go there.

If there as ever a store that deserves 0 stars this is it. My phone was not only not fixed properly but given back to me in worse condition with new problems. My screen they replaced lasted a few days and I had to send it to Samsung for a proper repair. I would never trust this store with my electronics.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

Whoever says in their review that their repair took just 15 minutes is LYING. DO NOT COME HERE, unless you are ready to make multiple trips because their service is so sloppy that they don't do things right and even can damage your device. those 4 stars in GOOGLE reviews are MISLEADING. How such sloppy business can have 4 stars, the young people that work there are so nasty, they have that don't care attitude, and talk to you like they are talking to their parents or sth (However I clarify that I do not have any problem with the tall guy that is bald, he is kind). I went in to have a screen replaced, and 2 weeks after the fix I needed to use the frontal camera, to find out that there was something behind the glass covering the camera . Had to come back and get it fixed. Then when coming in to pick up my phone, this young dude had this awful attitude towards another person when I came in, she told me they put a refurbished battery when she paid for new, and when replacing the battery they broke the phone screen, replaced it but didn't tell her. It was really terrible the attitude this young person had, and the other young white fat guy is worse. This business should NOT have these reviews, DO NOT give your hard earned money to these sloppy people who do not know the appropriate attitude for running a customer facing business and have no work ethic.

Avoid this place

Two weeks to replace a battery and they still couldn't do it. Then charged me $37 because they opened my phone, installed the battery they ordered, which was defective, in their words "new battery continuously bootlooping and only showing the Apple logo". Strongly suggest you find a cell repair shop that is capable and professional. This is neither

Waste of time

Dropped off iPad Air with issue related to charging. We were told 2-3 weeks for the requested repair. More than a month later the iPad was sitting on the bench, although we were told it was sent to the main facility. The young and irrelevant clerk told us that the iPad could not be repaired, and that the manager was unavailable. We picked it up and left. We then took it to our local Best Buy, where a diagnostic test showed no issues, and the charging problem was repaired in one and a half minutes. CRP, in addition to being incompetent they also lied to us. What a waste of time...! Never again.

Went here yesterday to see Carlos

Went here yesterday to see Carlos. He was GREAT! Fixed my phone less than an hour. I went back today to see him to fix another but was greeted by another guy just as helpful. Price is NOT cheap but here for great service. Repeat customer.

Run, don't walk, get away

Run! Avoid this business at all costs, even if your provider sends you here. My under a year old Samsung Galaxy 24 from T-Mobile developed a problem with the touchscreen. I brought it here in January of 2025 and was told that I had dropped it. My phone lives a charmed life as have all of my prior Smartphones in an Otterbox Defender case. I have never broken a screen apart from a flip phone 25 years ago. I had them replace the screen and they gave me a lifetime repair warranty. This morning, August 7 2025 I had the same problem with the phone and assumed it was a defective replacement screen. They had the phone for 2 hours, the store manager Ishmael told me that they would likely cover it and to come back in an hour or so. When I returned, they claimed I had corrosion from water intrusion. The phone has not been submerged in water in the 6 months since they last replaced it. The warranty as per him was now invalid. I paid for a second screen to get my phone clear of this business. Recommend you spread the word or at the very least avoid this business.

CPR Cell phone Repair Shop was my hero!

CPR Cell phone Repair Shop was my hero!On 4/29/25, I called in distress and was given immediate answers to my concerns. I was impressed that I was given a prompt appointment that worked with my schedule, and the technician addressed all my problems. He was very kind and empathetic to my situation. He went above and beyond my expectations to assist in solving my urgent issues with my device. I was so relieved!I was impressed to learn that they also specialize in fixing computers, laptops, and tablets, but I was told that they can fix basically any electronic device. I like knowing I can come to them for all my electronic needs. I highly recommend this repair shop.

I dropped off my HP laptop to have it checked for Malware and viruses.

I dropped off my HP laptop to have malware removed and the computer checked for other viruses. A day later I picked it up with a bill of good health. When I attempted to open the computer, I received the exact message as before and it was locked. I then contacted McAfee who spent 2 + hrs. cleaning and removing unwanted malware etc. Their professional tech. explained that CPR Cell Phone Repair had done nothing to irridicate the issues, and you charged me $160.00+. I have used your services in the past as referred by my cell phone carrier, but won't in the future. I'm sure there are honest repair companies around.

They were super unprofessional. Wouldn't return emails. Then when called and asked if they would change the repair request because they had no screens they changed it and said they couldnt fix it, phone had to be replaced. Which is a lie there a crack in top screen only phone works fine. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND LIE.

Apparently their website and stores are…

Apparently their website and stores are two different identities. Made appointment to get iPad 9 repaired. Drove all the way to the store to find out they do not repair them anymore. I was told the website is controlled by corporate and they have no control of its contents. Not a company I would trust if their website is not accurate to what the stores can actually do.

The service in the store was…phenomenal

The service in the store was phenomenal. The supervisor was very knowledgeable and patient. I came in on New Years Eve, and they stayed to assure that my I-pad was fixed . Great customer service, and would refer them to any one who needs this service .

Like a fool

Like a fool, I had nothing backed up on my phone. My IPhone was burning through screens like crazy! Three in a week. Turns out the motherboard was faulty. ROE at CPR on the Grand Parkway in Richmond, diagnosed the issue and was a true professional through the whole process. My issues were pricey, and he actually felt bad charging me. He seems like a really honest guy and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I got my phone back and everything was good to go. Me and the iCloud are new friends now too. Thank you ROE! cellphonerepair dot c o m

Ignorant, Negligent, or Scum

If you go to the location on Park Ave in Memphis, you are not in good hands.I brought my phone in when its side button stopped responding to presses/clicks. They told me the button needed to be replaced and charged me about $100 for the repair. When I got it back, I quickly noticed that the button, which also has touch-sensitive functionality, was no longer responding to swipes up and down, which had always worked fine. I returned it so they could fix this new problem. After hearing nothing for about six days, I called them. The swiping wasn't working, they said, because the replacement button they installed did not have that functionality. They said they couldn't find a proper replacement button, so they used one that worked halfway. At no point during the repair process was I told that I would lose this functionality and that they were not fully repairing my phone. Had I known this beforehand, I absolutely would have looked for a shop that could fully fix my device or considered putting my $100 towards a new phone. If they knew their replacement wasn't fully functional and didn't tell me before accepting my money, that's a scam. If they didn't know until after I pointed it out, they are too ignorant to be repairing devices. Either way, forget these guys.

Only cares about money not his customers

Cliff notes versionOwner is a jerk who only cares about money not his customers.I got my screen “repaired” about a week ago and it somehow developed a minor crack two days later. I didn’t drop it, squeeze it or do anything that would normally cause a crack. I read the warranty and it said it doesn’t cover physical damage. Since it was literally two days later I figured there was good chance that they’d fix it out of good faith. I called and asked about it and was told I could get a measly $10 off a whole new repair($215 after tax). I went today in person to ask again. The owner rudely told me the same thing.I politely walked away and waited for customers to show up so I could explain to them that they should use a different location because the owner of this one is just an ass. Some customers did come by and I waited for them to leave the store to talk to them(you pay after). The owner followed me out there and asked if I had a problem with him, obviously I did. He proceeded to argue with me in front of the customers and capped off the conversation by telling me he’d call the police(again I was outside). The police did show up and were very understanding and respectful. They understood that the owner was just being a jerk but they did have to give me a notice of trespass, as they should have and I figured they would. I talked to them about where I was allowed to be and the owner was hearing this. He said he’d call the property manager and have her trespass me from the whole strip mall. We’ll see how it plays out but the point of this is just to say if you are considering doing business with this guy just don’t. If you want to use CPR there are two other franchises very close(the Arboretum and Indian Trail locations).

Very rude, unprofessional, and entitled!!!

***PLEASE READ FULLY***I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Very unprofessional, entitled, and rude. I brought an iPad 8 in to get fixed. When it was time to pick it up Rachel ( the owner’s daughter) hands it to me and says they replaced the home button free of charge and there was a lot of candy inside the screen. I said ok thanks. As I’m standing there I start checking the other functions of the iPad. I noticed that the power button doesn’t work so I asked Rachel about this. She says oh it wasn’t working when you brought it in. I tell her I was not aware of that. She goes to the back and spoke to Jake the technician about it. I overheard him telling her that the volume down button doesn’t work either. At that point, I tried to press the volume button and notice that it is completely stuck. At this point, they were going to let me walk out without telling me my power button and volume button did not work. The only thing Rachel mentioned was the home button then tried to upsell for a screen protector….After spending $281 in total with them and based off of good customer service expectations, I feel like they should have let me know about every issue they encountered. After asking them, how am I going to turn the iPad on and off? They get frustrated. After going back-and-forth, expressing my frustration and confusion on how these 2 important functions no longer work. Jake suggests I get a $20 refund of which Rachel later says don’t give it to her because we didn’t test it before she came in. At this point, several minutes have passed and I am waiting on the refund while doing research on how I am going to power this iPad on and off without The power button. I tell him “google is saying the iPad doesn’t automatically come on when plugging it in if you shut it off first”. Jake gets frustrated, picks up my iPad, rudely powers it off, plug it in and then slams it on the counter and says “it’s back on.”. At that point, Of course I tell him “don’t slam my property back down like that”. ( I mean it just got fixed, was he trying to break it again??). He continues being rude and says I can just take it back and replace the broken screen. Excuse me?? I just paid $281 in total here for a iPhone and iPad repair. And I did not even consent to you doing anything else to MY iPad that has been fully paid for at this point. Rachel nor Jake apologized or showed any remorse or mere concern for my dismay at the broken power button and volume button they were not going to tell me about….. finally after waiting several minutes Jake rudely hands me $20. I say thank you. I asked if he was the manager and he says “I’m the assistant”. I say okay, “what’s your name” he gives me his name with a worried look. I then ask Rachel for her name. She tells me, then says “you can write the google review”. I say I’m going to do that and call back and tell the supervisor about my experience. She then gets angry and yells at me “DONT COME BACK. WE DON’T WANT YOUR BUSINESS HERE. IM THE OWNER’S DAUGHTER.” In front of two other customers… if you want half done repairs, spoiled and entitled representatives, and a bad experience then this is the perfect place…. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

We received awesome service!!

We received awesome service!!! We have an autistic son that broke the charge cord in the charge port on his favorite iPad. He would not eat or drink because of it. When we explained the situation, they were extremely understanding and helpful. They even gave a discounted rate and had it fixed within an hour. It was a life saver for us. The service representative was very understanding and compassionate, he dropped everything to get it done right away even though he was very busy. Highly recommend!! We went to the repair shop on Columbia Avenue in Lancaster.

If only I could give zero stars

If only I could give zero stars. Don't fall for the "free" worldwide screen replacement scam. The person who mis-sold this to my husband didn't mention that they aren't worldwide, and the new screen is not free. Newsflash - having to send your phone to another continent to have the screen replaced is not worldwide nor even realistic!
