I felt lost navigating the job market. As an entrepreneur, I had never had an interview, let alone gone through multiple rounds. I found Chelsea and RHA on Instagram and was convinced by the many success stories.I’m happy to share that I am now one of those success stories. After four months in the program, I accepted a new role with a great increase in pay. I had always wanted a fully remote position but knew those roles were extremely difficult to find. I joined Rich & Hired at a time when I felt stuck, frustrated, and honestly a little defeated in my career. R&H is more than a career coaching program - it's a life changing program.
Last April, I found myself unexpectedly out of work. I did not have the tools to approach the current job market. My confidence was at an all time low. I connected with 2 career coaching services and was really questioning if the whole coaching industry was just a money grab preying on vulnerable people. I found R+H on Instagram and Chelsea reached out to me asking if I was job searching. Well, yes in fact. Chelsea took the time to get on the phone with me. I'll never forget her approach - she didn't oversell the product, just plainly stated the track record of results for her clients who committed to the work. Her confidence was disarming and I...just trusted her. I realized - I need to learn how to act like Chelsea does in my own career journey. I signed up that day. Chelsea and my coach Allison changed my life. The program requires a lot of work but it's an excellent framework, especially if you're starting with little to no experience with personal branding, job search, networking and interviewing, Coach Allison was right there with me through every stage, giving guidance, gentle redirection, and celebrating even the smallest wins. The community was also extremely healing for me. The job search process can be brutal and it's so helpful to lean on others going through similar challenges. My experience in the program has a happy ending - I recently signed an offer with a dream company. I was also able to channel my creative energy into a side hustle that I plan to continue when I start my new job. I would have never had the confidence to do something like that without my cheerleaders at R+H boosting me up. Coaching that drives Clarity!
Working with Allison at RHA over the last 5 months has been such a rewarding experience! The program and sessions are thoughtful and well laid out, but the real reward and takeaways for me was working with the same coach throughout my time at RHA. My biggest shift has been how I approach challenges and decision-making. I'm more intentional, patient, and clearer about priorities. I make decisions with more confidence and clarity. Each of my sessions leave me with concrete, tactical actions I can apply to my work and long-term career planning. If I could give the program 5+ stars, I would without question. This program quite literally changed my life. I had been listening to Chelsea's podcast months before I was laid off and had been really moved by what she talked about. I found so many things she highlighted resonate with me, making me think so thoughtfully about what was important in my life and career. Fast forward 6 months and I found myself effected by my first ever layoff in my career. I was terrified of what the unknown meant and had never been unemployed for more than a couple weeks. I took a chance and invested. A big investment into the program and coaching, telling myself, I could not fail and that everything I had listened to in those podcasts had already made my mindset change for the better. And not only did it pay off TENFOLD, but I ended up starting my own business, signing clients within the first 2-3 months of being in the program. Not only that but opportunity after opportunity led me towards the company I'm at now and I am so thankful for everything I learned in this program.
