I was really Happy with the booking…

I was really Happy with the booking process as although I started the process on line, a Human Travel Assistant phoned and it was a Fabulous experience with choice of cabin within the category I selected.

Cruise holiday booking with Cruise1st Australia

My wife & I recently booked a 2027 cruise holiday package with Cruise1st Australia (via Kate Lee, Cruise and Travel Advisor). Kate was prompt, professional and personable. A real delight to deal with.

Don’t use them

Don’t use them! The staff disappear quicker than your money. We lost over a grand because they booked our accommodation before they should have & didn’t tell us! When we cancelled the cruise…over 6 months before the finals were due…they told us they had booked all the accommodation which was non refundable…when we checked with the hotels if they had our booking, they said that they didn’t…so they made up a lot of crap to keep our deposit….the flights they offered us were crap too! Long flight times via countries that were nowhere near where we were going…they are rubbish agents!

Stress free holiday booking

Really well priced with excellent, fast customer service. I loved that they were able to tweak packages to suit exactly what I needed. Michael Moore was our agent again and he is fantastic. Was able to sort out my son and his friends booking to make sure they will experience an amazing holiday. Highly recommend!

Great customer service

Ease of booking

A great company to deal with.

I have booked several cruises through Cruise 1st and I have always found them to be professional, friendly and extremely helpful. My 2 latest bookings have been handled by Michael and he has been just great. I have a trip coming up in 2 weeks and another just booked for 2027. I will book again with Cruise 1st in the future.

Writing this review after only being on…

Writing this review after only being on holiday 1 day as multiple issues including Royal Caribbean. We got to Salou airport to find out we had no transfer from the airport but this wasn’t explained, we were only told about the one on the way back. The lady I spoke to was just un sympathetic and had to ring them while in Spain, but then we have had our first meal and the food is meh at best which is disappointing to say it’s meant to 4*.Royal Caribbean which I know is not controlled by cruise 1st but because it is part of their package, I am adding this comment. They took a double payment from me, I rang them and they sent me an email saying it was cancelled and would refunded, it’s been 5 days and I’ve just got a message via my online bank saying it’s been accepted!! I have to wait another 3-5 days when the money was for my holiday!The bus transfer from the hotel Salou to the port we were advised the time of arrival for the bus, there was 3 of us all together and the bus dropped us off at the airport with no mention of next steps. I had to ring the office and they then explained we needed to get transport from the airport and this was no where on the paperwork provided by your company nor the bus services. We waited 15/20 minutes with advisors shaking their heads scrambling to find transport as no one was going to the port. We finally got one and it was a good job I was there to help Robert Elliott who was an elderly alone passenger booked through yourselves.I had called before the holiday to ask about hand luggage and spoke to someone with a European accent who’s said we had 7kg upon return, I then called Sunday to make sure and was told it was 10kg so it had now changed. I wanted to make sure we definitely had hand luggage and when we arrived at the check in desk they made us pay £95 (€110.22) for an extra bag, the extra baggage on the way back was for an underseat bag yet on the way we could take a bag, hand luggage and a main case via Jet2. I understand the are 2 separate airlines but yet the communication has not been there from yourselves therefore, I require reimbursement for the £95 we have paidI will be using Iglu cruises next time or just book it myself direct as this has just been a faff.

Great booking experience with Cruise 1st Australia!

Our booking experience with Cruise 1st was great. From the start, our travel consultant Karen was so helpful and friendly. We booked a Cruise 1st Princess Cruises package, including flights, cruise and hotel stays either side for 2026. After our initial Balcony Cabin booking, we decided that we would prefer a Mini-Suite, as the cruise component was 26 nights. Karen went above and beyond for us to change our cabin - we were very appreciative of her assistance (also Susan from Cruise 1st Amendments was very helpful). Don’t use Cruise 1st

MSC cancelled our cruise. Bought a package through Cruise 1st. My Cruises, Trip A Deal and Flight Centre gave their customers all their money back on the same cruise. Lost $2253 in cancellations fees. Bought upgraded flights. On the hotel cancellation fee they refunded another customer $253 but won’t refund me the hotel cancellation fee. Don’t know how that is fair. Wish I read the reviews before I bought this package through Cruise 1st. You think your getting good deal but in the long run more expensive.

cruise 1st cancellation nightmare

I booked a cruise tour package with them, they cancelled because MSC cancelled it. I have been fighting for over 3 months to get a refund as they are taking hefty cancellation costs. I did not cancel the cruise. Very disappointing. A nightmare.

I booked a cruise with my friend

I booked a cruise with my friend, and found a few months later I became very sick, my friends husband took my place. I was told I had to cancel, and then the fees came. $1,150!!! I was told it could take up to three months to receive my balance of deposit. After many calls, emails debating why the fees were charged as somebody was taking my place!!! Qantas cancellation $200, cruise 1st $300, hotel $650 which was a non refundable hotel, but the one hotel in Tokyo was was not go figure!!! A dollar making issue, no empathy, and to top it off, I found the payments $1850 out of $3,000 deposit in my bank account, no text, no email from Cruise 1st,which was over a week ago. My advice, think twice before booking, poor service, they have made money on the fees, EVEN THOUGH there was no problem as someone was taking my place,

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. Once we paid - there was no further response to any emails. Phone calls were left unanswered. For most phone calls we were on hold for close to an hour with no response.The cruise provider kept referring back to the agent for any particular questions - which ended up in a huge mess. I cannot advise enough against booking with them,

Do not touch Cruise 1st with a bargepole.

Fly / cruise to NZ, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga, Information supplied at the outset was very poor. Cruise 1st only want to collect your money, and you the customer do the rest with the cruise line / air line etc. I contacted them to let them of the issues I was having and that iIwas very unsatisfied, they couldn't even bother to respond.I gave them a chance after the very first cruise we took to NZ, which also went pearshape but never again.

Communication non-existant

I had been booked to go on a cruise to Canada/Alaska and paid the deposit in July 2022. In December I received an email to say the cruise was cancelled - no explanation - and that I could book another cruise on offer or get a refund. They sent the other cruise details but no costing. I requested the costing 3 times- no reply. I then took the option to get a refund - still no reply. I contacted them again in January and finally received confirmation of my cancellation. Later in January they sent an email out relating to a cruise they were offering - exactly the same as the one I had originally booked with the same dates and again with no costing. Also still waiting for my refund that they have now had for 7 months and apparently not likely to see until March. This is an absolute disgrace and if I could give this company a negative rating I would.

Booked a cruise that was cancelled…

Booked a cruise that was cancelled because of Covid, Rolled the booking over hoping covid problems would be over. Refunded approx. 20% of deposit, no explanation or statement given. Do not be fooled by their prices. Would never recommend or use again.

Do not use cruise 1st had my money not interested in customer service sorting out my inquiry royal Caribbean price promise guarantee lower price speaks to travel agent who don’t want to know you. First time cruise and last time I be going and booking with them.

Rude staff and inaccurate information

Over the years I have booked many cruises both in Australia and overseas with Cruise1st but after my telephone call with them today I will never use them again. The woman I spoke to was very rude and condescending and continually spoke over the top of me. She gave me lots of false information and when I told her that the information she had just given me was in complete contrast to an email I had from Cruise1st 4 months previously she said that wasn’t her problem as she hadn’t sent the email.....Really . Never again.

Not booking with Cruise1st Australia…Not booking with Cruise1st Australia ever again!

Not booking with Cruise1st Australia ever again. I know that they have definitively been refunded my deposit by the Cruise line. That happened in September 2020 but am yet to receive my refund from Cruise1st Australia as of today 17 December 2020 and still waiting! They just don't want to refund it and keep delaying with their excuses. DISGRACEFUL!! Over the years I have spent a lot of money through Cruise1st, but after this experience I will not place another booking through your organisation. Plenty of companies out there that would be happy to accept my bookings!
