Avoid at all costs!!!!!

My brother bought a car from this dealership, a £20.000 Mercedes, 4 months after purchase the car had an engine fault, it was taken to the dealership who held the car for two days and then returned explaining there had been no faults detected. Obviously knowing this wasn't true he took the car to a Mercedes garage who confirmed that there was indeed an engine fault along with 46 other faults, the garage have refused to take any responsibility, the car has cost thousands to put right and my brother has come close to losing his job due to the car repeatedly breaking down and being in garages being repaired, this has made a serious impact to his financial situation with the loss of earnings and the endless repairs needed. I strongly advise people to find a more reliable and honest dealership to avoid being put in the same situation my brother sadly has been. Now trading under Liberty Green cars, given the trust pilot score of the original name it's not really a wonder why they have Rebranded.

I purchased a Mercedes for 18000

I purchased a Mercedes for 18000, the car has so many faults it's hard to keep track. So I sent the car back to these thieves. 2 days later they sent the car back saying they couldn't find any faults. So I took it to Mercedes, who informed me the car had 46 faults and the engine needed alot of work and the gear box. I will be taking this company to court. My advice to others is don't trust this company they are cowboys intent on selling dangerous cars.

AVOID!!!!!

**Review of Mercedes A-Class WO17 CKD Purchase from DCC (Now Liberty Green Cars)**I recently purchased a Mercedes A-Class WO17 CKD from DCC in Fareham, now operating as Liberty Green Cars, on the 3rd of October, with high hopes of owning my dream car. Unfortunately, my experience with the vehicle and the dealership has been nothing short of a disaster, filled with frustration, unsafe conditions, and an utter lack of customer service.**Initial Issues:**Upon purchasing the car, I immediately noticed that the wheel alignment was off. Despite the fact that this was pointed out prior to the sale, DCC had not addressed it when changing a tyre, and I had to take the car to another garage to have the issue corrected myself. This should have been an easy fix that the dealership should have handled.Soon after, I began hearing a loud grinding and scraping noise emanating from the engine bay. I contacted DCC numerous times to report the issue, but despite repeated promises of call-backs and assistance, I was left to chase them continuously with no resolution. It wasn't until much later that the dealership agreed to send the car for an investigation. Instead of performing a thorough investigation themselves, they simply forwarded the car to a turbo specialist in Portsmouth, Express Turbos, with the vague explanation that the issue "could be turbo-related." This, of course, did nothing to resolve the problem.**Unsafe Courtesy Car:**To make matters worse, the courtesy car provided, a Skoda Fabia (HN14 BJE), was in an appalling condition. The rear driver's side tyre had dangerously split in two places, which I later discovered had been flagged as an advisory for over three years. DCC attempted to accuse me of causing the damage, but had I not noticed the flat tyre in the morning, I could have easily been involved in a serious accident. The lack of care and attention to safety was shocking.**No Resolution and Unhelpful Staff:**When I finally got the car back in November, the grinding noise was still present. Despite providing solid evidence of the noise, I was dismissed and essentially called a liar by the dealership. To add to the distress, I received a call from the warranty company, where I was told in no uncertain terms, "Emma, you're never going to be happy, we are not fixing it." This kind of treatment left me feeling helpless, and I was left with a car I could no longer drive.Throughout this ordeal, I made over 80 phone calls to DCC (Liberty Green Cars) and multiple calls to the warranty company, but I never received any meaningful assistance. My business, which depends heavily on having a reliable vehicle, suffered significantly as I lost clients and income due to the ongoing issues with the car.**Finance Company Intervention:**Finally, I escalated the issue to the finance company, Blue Motor Finance, who were fantastic. They arranged for an inspection of the vehicle, and the engineer clearly identified a noise coming from the back of the engine bay, which he described as sounding like an issue with the "valve train." He recommended that the engine be dismantled for further investigation. However, DCC (Liberty Green Cars) refused to authorise any further work and stated that the car was "uneconomical to repair."**Return of the Car:**After much back-and-forth, I returned the car to the dealership on the 9th of December. To my disbelief, just two days later, on the 11th of December, the same car was put back up for sale ( Mercedes a class 200d. WO17 CKD)This is not only unethical, but it also shows a complete disregard for consumer rights and safety. My experience with DCC (now Liberty Green Cars) has been an absolute nightmare. The car I purchased was defective, unsafe, and had numerous unresolved issues. The dealership provided poor customer service, ignored my concerns, and failed to take responsibility for the problems. Their treatment of me, as a self-employed individual reliant on a vehicle, has caused significant financial loss, emotional distress, and inconvenience.I strongly advise anyone considering buying from this dealership to avoid them at all costs. The vehicle I received was far from a luxury car; it was more suited to a banger racing track than the road. It is clear that this dealership is not interested in providing quality vehicles or customer satisfaction.

Straight forward sales

I dealt with Robert Longman from DCC and I had a really good sales experience. Everything we requested was seamless and done to an exceptional standard. Robert even followed up to make sure the car was delivered to North Wales on time his days off. The lady who dropped the car off was very pleasant too. Thank you to the team at DCC

Appalling customers service and in breach of legal obligations rights

I would strongly advise against using this company’s services and recommend exploring alternative providers.I purchased a car from DCC Fareham in August 2024. Unfortunately, after driving it over the weekend, the car broke down on the following Monday, necessitating a call to the AA. The vehicle broke down again shortly after. While the sales team at DCC, particularly the salesperson I was in contact with, were initially helpful, I had to rely on the warranty (thankfully) and was directed to a local garage authorized by the warranty provider. However, the garage informed me that the issue was significant and required the attention of a Fiat specialist.Given that I rely heavily on my vehicle for work, my confidence in the car was completely shattered. I contacted DCC once more to request a full refund under my consumer rights. After returning the car and having it inspected, I received an email from Matt, the sales manager, accepting the return and stating that he would “try” to process the refund within 14 days.It has now been 21 days, and I still have not received my refund. Despite sending three follow-up emails to Matt over the past week and contacting the sales team directly to request an update, I have been ignored. There has been no progress or communication from DCC.Upon researching the issue and consulting with Citizens Advice, I learned that under the Consumer Rights Act, I am entitled to a refund without undue delay, and it must be processed within 14 days of the trader agreeing to the refund. DCC is not only providing appalling customer service but is also in breach of their legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act by withholding my refund.Citizens Advice has reported the matter to Trading Standards. I am currently £11,850 out of pocket and without a vehicle.

Friendly Service

Milo saw us browsing the cars and told us if there was anything we wanted help with or something we wanted to know about any of the cars to just ask him, he then left us to browse in peace. Once we had narrowed it down to a couple of cars we sought him out and he answered all our questions, we then took the car we chose for a test drive. When we got back Milo helped us through the purchase process and we arranged to collect it the following weekend. Milo rang us midweek to let us know the car checks/service etc had been done and was ready for when we were ready to collect and again on the Friday to confirm our arrival time. On the day of collection Milo had everything ready for us, helped us tax the car and even put in some extra fuel, the whole process was quick and painless (well as painless as parting with large sums of money can be 😂).Five stars for the sales service process.

DCC Sell cars with outstanding finance on them still.

A member of my family bought a used car from DCC. An amount was agreed for a p\x and DCC agreed to settle the outstanding finance. DCC have not paid the outstanding finance on the p\x car, and its been several weeks now.DCC have now sold the p/x car even though they have NOT settled the outstanding finance to the finance company. We have phoned several times and written a letter giving them 7 days to settle the finance agreement. DCC have still not settled the outstanding finance on the p\x car. This is illegal. DO NOT TRUST this companyIts now the 05/08/24 and this company has still not attempted to settled the outstanding finance agreement on my P/X,

Poor costumer service after selling

Poor costumer service after selling the car. Incongruent speak and only care about selling you the car however, if anything goes wrong with it just send you to the warranty. Not accountability for anything. If you care about your money dont waste it with DCC.

Saw car which looked in perfect…

Saw car which looked in perfect condition and was what I was looking for. Car was delivered driven from fareham to Cornwall hardly any fuel in it warning light was on. One of mirrors didn't work. Took to work the next day gears would not engage Slave cylinder had to be replaced. It was repaired disappointed. My husband spoke to dealer and asked for AA check list we got sent a general check list which was not correct. I have no car at all now car water logged and electrics gone can't even lock i have hardly used it since I have had it due to problems. Approached dealer to resolve issues apparently I have to have a report done I have been advised by two mechanics that it will be a big job to repair and be time consuming and we will be forever throwing money at it. We were advised to get rid of it as it's under finance I can't thanks DCC.Been advised to complain to AA who will help me to pursue this.

AVOID

Collected new car on Saturday 55 miles later I get a gearbox and engine fault come up on the dashboard. The car is now in the garage have no car to get to work and no idea what is wrong and when I will get it back. Called the garage first thing Sunday morning and they haven't even had the courtesy to call me back, they have passed straight to the warranty company. After paying so much money I thought I would get more than 55 miles out of a new car. AVOID and save yourself the hassle. I will be claiming for loss of earnings.

Did not have a good experience…

Did not have a good experience with this company at all. Found a car online and enquired. I was then sent a video of the car. I decided to purchase this and travelled to pick it up. The car was as it was in the video. I took it for a test drive and the car had been cleaned but not dried so was soaking wet (the car smelled of damp the following few days after this). Sat down to do the paperwork to find out that the car had not had an MOT done when I was told it would have been done so I had to get this done separately. They had ordered a paint pen for the car which they promised would be posted to me. After driving the car home and reading through the manual I realised that they had sold me the WRONG CAR. The car advertised was a petrol but they sold me a diesel!! The car was advertised at the wrong place! Understandably I was very frustrated and, albeit, the manager offered compensation for the issues I had with the company. Nearly 3 months later I am still asking for the paint pen to be sent to me. I would avoid this company!!!!!!!

We just bought a car from Milo

We just bought a car from Milo, I live a couple of hours away so all done remotely, fantastic service. Milo did not pressure us to make a decision, ensured we had all the info on the car and walkaround videos too. He also stayed in touch everyday letting us know when mot/service was complete ensuring every stage went smoothly. Driver that delivered the car/picked up the part ex was also lovely and friendly. Milo even checked in again after car was delivered, from initial enquiry to delivery was all done in just 4 days!! Top service, would definitely use again and recommend - thanks again Milo.

Poor standard cars customer service and after sales is…

The customer service and after sales is shocking and very poor. Poor reviews below were concerning so discussed prior to purchase and felt reassured enough to purchase! Worst decision! Video sent prior to purchase or car ‘to rule out any issues and so we were aware of any imperfections’ the huge holes in the interior roof and awful state of interior were never highlighted. Pressure from delivery driver to not check car or test drive prior to signing for delivery as ‘unable to refuse the car’ and entitled to refund within 14days if any issues. Started up car once he had left to hear a large whistling on driving the car and hose taped together in engine. On contacting dcc to refuse the vehicle ‘after sales’ rude and excusing me of ‘my word against theirs’ regarding anything discussed or found wrong with the vehicle and only refund if I return it the 140miles myself. I would honestly stay WELL CLEAR of this company. I wish I had!

Mark and his team were with me every step of the way. They knew that the Alfa Romeo was my dream car. Their attention to detail was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. they were super kind and helped me through a small hiccup with the car. No grumbles or problems just good service.

Fantastic service

My Son found the specific car he wanted online and contact was made with DCC, After a couple of e-mails with Milo we received pictures and a video of the car, we paid a deposit through bank transfer and the car went for preparation, full service, MOT, front and rear brakes replaced, rear parking sensor replaced, alloys repaired and a full machine polish, a final video of the car was sent showing the car inside and out. This is the first car I've bought without seeing it in person and at first was wary about transferring approx 19K to complete the car purchase, I took the plunge and carried out the transfer, Milo provided me with a receipt and proof that the outstanding finance was cleared, it was all very smooth throughout with plenty of correspondence. The car has now been delivered from DCC Southampton to us in Inverness and my Son is delighted with it, Well done Milo and the whole team at DCC you've all done a fantastic job.

So happy. They sold me a wonderful car, that had everything I needed. It arrived in perfect condition, was spotlessly clean and it runs very well. I couldn’t be happier with the thorough service I received from the team. Thank you!
