As a first timer shipping a car, I spent quite a few hours over a 2 week period researching auto carriers. From what I gathered, you can either use a broker who will find a transporter, contact a carrier who owns their own trucks, or lastly use U-Ship and hope for the best. My original inclination was to use a carrier who owned their own trucks. My thought was that since their name is on the truck, they will be the most professional and the likelihood of any damage would be minimal. After getting a couple quotes from the 2 big named carriers, I was a little taken back at the price for an enclosed trailer from CO to CT. Eventually I found Goliath Auto Transport. My research showed they don’t just choose the cheapest transport company or just anyone who will take the job. They put the time and effort into finding a quality transporter with good reviews, has been in the business for some time and appears to have a mechanically sound truck from the best they can see in pictures. I worked with Josh who listened to everything I had to say. I told him this was an important transport and said it’s ok to wait it out. I want someone who you can trust. I even gave him permission to put more money on the trip if needed. Quality work isn’t cheap and you don’t want just anyone transporting a car for you. After a few days Josh connected with a driver who was awesome. I sent a few texts after pickup and he always responded very quickly. He delivered in a surprisingly short time given the distance. And in the end even after spending a few more dollars than quoted, I still saved $2k over the 2 big transport companies who operate their own trucks and aren’t brokers. 5/5 stars for Goliath Auto Transport.

This was my first time using a transport service and Brittany made the entire process very simple and easy. The pickup and drop off times were exactly as communicated with no issues. If I transport again in the future Goliath will be the company I use.

We had a very challenging situation to transport our sons car from Florida to his Air Force base in Texas. Due to his military service and training schedule, he only had availability to recieve his car on the weekend. I researched several (over a dozen) transport companies and was very disappointed with the interaction as it seemed as most of the brokers worked outside of the US at call centers and were unwilling to work with our schedule. Needless to say this was a very frustrating situation and I even considered taking time off work to drive the car to him myself. After some research and filtering through the numerous “robo” 5-star reviews, I found Josh and his team at Goliath Auto Transport. Josh was very honest and supportive as he expressed willingness to work not only with my work schedule for pick up. but also with my son’s schedule for delivery. After several text messages, Josh even called me personally to assure me they were working on getting this done efficiently and with a reputable trucking Company. We are glad to report our son’s car was safely delivered this weekend with no damage or unexpected incidents. I cannot recommend Josh and his team enough at Goliath and I would highly recommend using his business. Thanks again Josh!

I selected Goliath because they did not immediately engage in extremely annoying spammy tactics like several other brokers, even well-known ones did, the estimated price and timing were reasonable, they explained the process and helped ease my concerns entering these shark infested waters. They selected a great driver for my truck and I received it without any issues.

Josh Krantz is highly unprofessional
Josh Krantz is highly unprofessional. He is not accountable during your transport. He was defensive and even joined in with the carrier and the carrier's dispatch, sending a barrage of texts, calls, and threats when my car was delivered late and without the two-hour notification he had promised. He was more concerned about the carrier's schedule than about the constant interruption to my work caused by a late delivery announced 30 minutes before arrival. If you want a company that supports you while your car is being transported and puts you, the customer, first, Goliath is not the one.

Rude and Ineffective
I was referred to "Josh" by a dealership where I bought a Hummer. He couldn't get the car shipped for almost two weeks, despite being told I was ready to pay whatever it takes, providing them with the address and answering a multitude of texts and phone calls. When I pointed out that I didn't appreciate their attitude, he just said find another carrier and hung up. Never work with these guys.

You won't be disappointed using Goliath Auto Transport. I did a lot of research to transport my Nova across the country. I was a little apprehensive after reading all the horror stories. I spoke with Brittany at Goliath and she thoroughly explained the entire process. My mind was put at ease. She booked Transport with Roman. Roman is great. He communicated pickup, throughout delivery of my vehicle. He was on time as scheduled. Roman took great care with my vehicle while in his care. I'm very glad I called Goliath. I found this company after searching for vehicle transportation reviews on Reddit. I had contacted a previous company before Goliath for a quote, and they relentlessly contacted me to book with them. That turned me off and annoyed me more than anything so I did more research and found Goliath. They gave me a quote, talked me through the process and gave me time to figure things out without any pressure. I pulled the trigger and had 2 vehicles transported from NYC to Florida and it couldn’t have been easier with this company. I can’t express how happy I am with Goliath shipping my 2017 Elantra . Everything from the communication to delivery of was flawless. Brittany was super helpful in answering all of my questions and concerns expediently. They gave me a 2 day window to work with and the carrier came the first day. Although a little later in the evening than I would have liked due to a major storm (Goliath had nothing to do with this). The pickup of my Elantra was very smooth and out of my hands before I knew it. Kinda surprised at how easy the pickup was! You just have to make sure there’s a decent sized parking lot nearby they can pull into with their trailer. Luckily there was one right across from my place which was perfect. Shipping from AZ to NJ took about 5 days which was quicker than originally expected. My car was dropped off without a scratch, literally. Couldn’t have been more satisfied with the whole experience considering all the negative reviews from some of the bigger names in the industry. You cannot go wrong with Goliath, trust me.

I looked at plenty of companies to ship my car from CA to MI but ultimately ended up going with Goliath. They were a little more expensive than some of the other options but felt the best. Brittany was communicative and prompt. The shipper was great too. I have one snafu on drop off time but Brittany was able to chat through logistics with me and settle my nerves. If you’re working with Goliath don’t be afraid to reach out to Brittany for piece of mind, she really helps settle nerves.

*** UPDATED REVIEW 7/2/2025 ***I selected Goliath Auto Transport to arrange transport of my vehicle for a long distance move in March. We had originally booked with a different company who had terrible reviews. I got nervous and contacted Goliath based off of their great reviews across the internet. . My contact was Natalie. She was extremely helpful and polite. She got my car scheduled for the timeframe requested. We had some major issues with the transporter used for the move which resulted in damage to my vehicle. I had a few rocky months trying to deal with the owner of the tranport company who was supposed to pay his insurance deductible directly to me but kept stalling. As soon as Brendon was made aware of the full situation he stepped in and assisted with rectifying this situation. My overall experience was not great. In an ideal world my car would have been delivered in good condition. Unfortunately that didn't happen for me. In fairness I think that most people who use Goliath don't experience what I did. What made all the difference and prompted me to update my review was when Brenden the owner got involved. He called the owner of the transport company and helped straighten things out which resulted in me collecting the money due for the damages. I don't think that most brokers would deliver that level of service. Thank you Brenden.
