Roshan was recommended to us by a friend. We were not disappointed! He is a great, confident driver. He knows the country very well and offers his local knowledge when needed. He made suggestions as to routes and areas of interest which meant we saw a great deal more of the beautiful Sri Lanka. He is polite, professional and punctual at all times. When we decided to visit Srà Lanka our friends recommended us the Grassland tours. So we contacted Saman and sent him the list of places which we wanted to see. Saman edited our suggestion and reccomended us more places and completely helped us with the journey, accomodation and everything. We have really enjoyed our holiday because we visited many interesting places, have a lot of fun and we had great opportunity to observe life in this nice country. Saman arranged a great stay in Srà Lanka for us and we hope it wasn´t our last holiday there. :)

Saman - the best guide and superb driver :-)
Saman is the man who can be trusted and it is very important, because it is sometimes needed. E.g. we negotiated a price of accomodation and one hour later the price was six times higher. Saman solved the problem and changed the bad experience to a beautiful evening :-) Additionally he is very talkative :-)

We have booked a tour with Saman via recommendation and we haven’t been disappointed! :-) Communication with him was very easy and smooth. We have sent him our itinerary and he added some more recommendations for places to visit. Saman is a good and carefull driver and also caring and reliable host. Thanks to him we have experienced the true srilankan hospitality in the homestays (when I was sick, they prepared steam for my nose, he bought me ayurvedic medicin...). Saman is also very knowledgeable about the nature and animals, which makes him a good guide for safaris as well. On the last evening he prepared for us BBQ right on the pristine beach - grilled tuna and prawns with a salat. It has been the best seafood we have had on Sri Lanka! :-)

Hi, as a result of having a repeated - very positive experience with Grasslandtours and personally with Saman, let me assess his company as well:) He offers a wide range of services, everybody can easily choose from according to his or her taste - which is a great advantage. What is more, he is reliable and flexible indeed, and he is always ready to give you a lot of useful pieces of advice. The atmosphere in the car was always friendly and relaxed which is absolutely great for travelling:) Last but not least, I would like to emphasize Saman´s fluent English (that makes the whole thing smoothly going) and also his enthusiastic attitudes towards everything and everybody. Hi! Me and three friends of mine arranged for a 10 day tour with SriLankan Grassland Tours and must say it has been a great experience. We contacted Saman via viber at first, and we had a very professional and fast reply, with affordable prices. We mentioned what we wanted to see and Saman set up an itinerary that was great. He formed an itinerary for us, which included Elephant Sanctuary, Lion Rock, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa ancient city, Sceneries at Kaudulla National Park, Pidurangala rock temple hike, Ritigala Forest Monastery, Dambulla cave temple, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Ella, Climb Adam’s peak visit for sunrise, Mini Adam’s peak hike, nine arch bridge, Rawana waterfall, Hikkaduwa and Galle.Saman has become a friend after this trip. He is a very kind man, an experiencied guide who helped us in everything we needed. He gave us the freedom to choose and manage the trip as we wanted. He has a wealth of knowledge full of information, knowledgeable, friendly, safety conscious and good sense of humour. Thank you very much for all your help. So, the trip ended with a new friendship, and memories of a great time spent in Sri Lanka. I can highly recommend Sri Lankan Grassland Tours, Saman made our trip a safe and rich experience.
