Stop Selling What You Can’t Deliver
I have been a past customer of GrillGrate and have been happy with their product. That’s exactly why this experience is so disappointing.I placed Order #5655567 on December 1, 2025. At checkout, the item was listed as backordered. Fair enough. I was willing to wait. What I was not expecting was nearly three months of shifting explanations and no realistic fulfillment date.Since December, I have been told:• It would restock in January• It was in the “final stages of manufacturing”• It was about a month out• It was a couple weeks out• Restocking was expected “over the next two weeks”Here we are at the end of February with still no shipment and no firm date.Every inquiry results in the same pattern: vague optimism followed by another moving target. The only concrete option offered has been cancellation and refund. The issue is not supply chain delays. The issue is continuing to sell and promote a product for months while being unable to provide an honest delivery timeline. As someone who runs a business, I understand delays happen. What I don’t understand is the lack of transparency and the repeated shifting of expectations. If the product is months away, say that. If you don’t know when it will arrive, say that. But don’t repeatedly suggest “a couple weeks” when that clearly isn’t the case.Very disappointing experience from a company I previously respected.
