Horrible company for their rebate program

This has to be the worst company on the planet for their rebate program. I thought that rebate programs were used to generate good will towards the brand - encourage people to buy Hankook products. This will be the first and only time I ever buy Hankook tires. I submitted my rebate for one hundred dollars CAD on October 19th, 2025. I submitted ALL REQUESTED DOCUMENTS! There was absolutely nothing wrong with my submission, I bought four tires from a legitimate Hankook tire dealer in one of the models eligible for the rebate. On October 30th, 2025 I got a email saying that my rebate had been approved. Then on November 24th, 2025 I got a email saying that my rebate was invalid. They had both a phone number and a email contact. So I phoned them and said what gives? The person who answered said that everything looked okay and couldn't tell me what was wrong with the submission. He said that it would probably work itself out (famous last words). As of January 26th, 2026 [now over THREE MONTHS SINCE THE SUBMISSION] I sent a email to Hankook saying that I will be reporting them as scam artists. They all of a sudden said that everything is fine BUT IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 8~10 WEEKS TO GET MY REBATE!!!!That will be close to SIX MONTHS JUST TO GET A $100 REBATE FROM HANKOOK!!!!Do you think that I will ever deal with them again? If I don't get the rebate I will definitely be following up with the Canadian government department responsible for such activities.

Absolutely shocking customer service - a textbook example of how NOT to treat customers

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5 starsI am compelled to share my appalling experience with Hankook Tire to warn potential customers about what you can expect from this company when their premium products fail.**THE PRODUCT FAILURE:**I purchased a Mercedes E-Class All Terrain in April 2023 equipped with Hankook "Mercedes Original" tires - supposedly premium products certified for my specific vehicle. After only 10,000 km (barely one year), these "premium" tires developed severe deterioration with visible tread cracking and splitting, making them unsafe and requiring immediate replacement.**THE RUNAROUND BEGINS:**What followed was an 8-month odyssey of bureaucratic ping-pong that would be laughable if it weren't so infuriating:1. **Mercedes deflected responsibility** to Hankook (despite the "Mercedes Original" certification)2. **Local Hankook dealer in Macedonia** conducted a technical inspection in November 2024, photographed the damaged tires, confirmed the defect, and promised to file a warranty claim - then went silent for months3. **Hankook Italy initially refused jurisdiction** claiming the tires were purchased abroad (they weren't - bought in Italy)4. **After proving Italian purchase**, they demanded I restart the entire process through the original dealer5. **When I complied**, they simply disappeared again**COMMUNICATION NIGHTMARE:**Getting in touch with Hankook is nearly impossible:- Official website email addresses are non-functional (emails bounce back)- Facebook messages go unanswered- Only after persistent LinkedIn harassment did I manage to reach someone**THE FINAL INSULT:**After 8 months of being passed around like a hot potato, Hankook's final response was essentially: "Sorry, we've decided your claim is invalid. Also, since you've already replaced the defective tires for safety reasons, we can't inspect them anymore."**WHAT THIS COST ME:**- Complete tire replacement after only 10,000 km- Multiple technical inspections to prove the vehicle wasn't faulty- Countless hours of my time dealing with their incompetent processes- Stress and frustration that could have been easily avoided**THE PATTERN:**This appears to be deliberate stonewalling - create enough bureaucratic hurdles and delays that customers simply give up. They count on you getting tired of fighting and walking away.**RECOMMENDATION:**Save yourself the headache. There are numerous reputable tire manufacturers who actually stand behind their products and treat customers with respect. Hankook is clearly not one of them.If you do make the mistake of buying Hankook tires, ensure you're prepared for zero customer support if anything goes wrong. You're essentially on your own with these people.**To Hankook management:** Your customer service is a disgrace to the tire industry. Premium pricing demands premium service - you deliver neither.**UPDATE (June 2025):** Still no resolution. Still no accountability. Still avoiding responsibility.

Tyre wear

Tyre wear is without doubt the worst I have experienced since the days of cross ply just 4000 miles and I am looking for new tyres. According to the main dealer 39% worn at 1000 miles, I am told by Hankook this is progress just a way to increase sales. But not Hankook any brand including cheap ditch finders would probably be better value for money

Worst tyres.

Worst tyres.I bought Hankook Ventus Prime 3 K125 x 4 from Halfords and got them installed by Halfords on 02/01/2023. Less than a month right front tyre has a bulge, I took the car to Halfords for replacement since they give so called extended warranty. Halfords Barking says they need to contact Hankook. Why? I am still waiting.

The Best Tires You Can Buy!!

Your tires are more important than you could imagine. Until recently I didn't know that this was the case. Let me explain. I had an accident and my insurance company told me that I could lower my rate if I took a safe driving course. So, I did. In the course, I learned things like to make sure that you stay in your lane when you are rounding a curve, allow a distance behind other cars in case you need to brake suddenly, and watch ahead to ensure that you know what might happen if another driver suddenly pulls out into traffic in front of your car.Although it was a very informative course, it didn't state one very important factor. That is to make sure that you have good tires on your car. Before my accident I had Douglas tires that I had purchased at Walmart. They were the worst tires that could ever be put on a vehicle. They caused my braking to take a lot of distance before the car would stop. They hydroplaned in the rain. My car would pull right into water on the side of the road. When turning left, I had to pull far to the right to ensure that my car didn't go into the left lane. And within a little over a year the tires were worn down so much that I needed to replace them before I could have my car inspected. Don't ever by Douglas tires! This isn't about Douglas tires, though. This is about Hankook tires. I had decided to rid myself of the awful Douglas tires. So, I began looking for quality tires at a good price. There were quite a few good brands at decent prices online. So, it was hard to decide which to choose. I finally checked Walmart again just to see what they offered. As I was looking at tires on Walmart, I saw Hankook Kinergies. I had no idea what they were. I just thought that they were some cheap brand that I wouldn't want but I Googled them just to be sure. To my surprise, they were Car and Driver's top all-season tire as of June 2019. There were only four tires in my size left. So, I quickly ordered them. I was still unsure if they would be that good but....The Hankook Kinergies have been on my car a little over a month now, time enough to know exactly how good they are. They aren't just good. They are great! They make driving a breeze. The Kinergies hug the road in all conditions. They brake immediately. I even tried them on gravel. My car stopped instantly. If I need to stop suddenly because a person or a car jumps out in front of me, they stop, period. Around curves, they don't drift. No hydroplaning on water. The Kinergies go right through water as if I'm driving on a dry street. On top of hugging the road, they are quiet and smooth, touring tire quiet and smooth. They are touring tires that really perform. One more very important point. While I was searching for tires, I found that the Hankook Kinergies have a 90,000 mile warranty. In case you have no idea what that means, they are guaranteed not to wear until they reach 90,000 miles. The highest warranty that I have seen for other tires is 80,000 miles. These exceed every other tire. Even if you can't find them at the extremely low price that I found them, understand that you will not have to replace them for the life of your car. Think about that. You won't have to replace them next year or the year after or the year after that. They will still be road worthy and inspectable after a few years. Nobody could drive 90,000 miles in a year or even two or three years. So, if you want the very best possible tires possible, buy Hankooks. My suggestion is the Kinergie all-seasons.
