Absolutely terrible answering system.
The physicians and especially nurses and clinic staff are great. BUT, you might never be able to get there as the phone system, and very very annoying incompetent answering system, will be so time-consuming and frustrating you will probably give up on going there. I have spent nearly 30 minutes on line just trying to get the system to connect me to the right office- hearing aid repair. The "direct" lines just send you into the same endless loop with constant annoying ads and an AI voice that cannot understand the word "audiology" or "hearing aids". Please have the voice give you a chance to answer without giving you a bunch of examples. Unnecessary waste of time.

This is about Henry Ford Wyndotte…
This is about Henry Ford Wyndotte Hospital. I went in due to lower back pain. I didn't realize I was dehydrated as well. I very nearly fainted in the hallway of my Apt building. My neighbor called an ambulance for me. No xrays were taken of my back. I'm not sure if they took any blood tests to see if I had an inflammation because my lower back was burning. They diagnosed me with sciatica. But they ran no test. A young Doctor came in the room talked about my health insurance I had Medicare/Medicaid with a spend down. Oh they did take an xray of my chest and I still don't know why and no results were forthcoming. Now I have even better insurance. My insurance pays for everything. And I'm making sure that Henry Ford Wyndotte Hospital doesn't get to enjoy any pay out when I get really sick again. The nurses were fine though. Nurses were decent. That Dr. needs to be concerned with my health. Not my insurance. I didn't like his attitude.

Puts profits above patients.
Since Henry Ford took over my doctor’s practice from Ascension there has been a clear negative change in the treatment of patients as customers. The takeover was more than a year ago and staff still complains that “the new system” is the cause of long waits, dropped phone calls, messages not getting to doctors, and slowdowns in service that are requiring appointments being rescheduled by more than a month. It took me a week to get a referral (or rather “referral order”, as I was corrected) to a local ENT, instead of one affiliated with Henry Ford. When I complained to the office’s practice manager that the nearest Henry Ford ENT was 200 miles away and that I couldn’t drive due to dizziness, she said she “didn’t care”, that all the other health systems made it hard to use outside doctors because they “had to make a profit”! Complaints to Herry Ford fall on deaf ears, with them blaming the doctor’s office and vice-versa. Henry Ford, please listen to and treat patients as customers, and not profit sources.

Absolute garbage!
Absolute garbage!Every time I've gone to these morticians, they take my insurance, take my Copay, bill my insurance then send me a bill!!! All this crap, and they never even, so much as took a blood sample, X-ray, throat culture, or a urine sample. Just asked questions and sent me on my way!🖕These lowlife, blood sucking, losers!

Assembly Line Medicine
If you want assembly line medicine Henry Ford Health is for you! While the doctors are wonderful, YOU CAN'T GET INTO SEE THEM! Even after emergencies you have to wait for an "available appointment". Then when you finally get in, appointments are limited to 20 minutes and NO ONE HAS READ YOUR CHART.This was my fourth ridiculous, inadequate experience in as many months. So, if you need medical care , do not choose Henry Ford Health. They are only interested in the bottom line and not the patient.

Hire RNs Who Celebrate Assassinations of Conservatives
They have a RN who celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Can you imagine being a Republican and having this man take care of you? When the public contacted them, they shut down their public website and locked their social media pages.

Horrendous Hospital
The hospital which used to be St. John's is the worst around. Please do not take your loved ones there. The physicians are horrendous.

Horrible patient treatment
Unable to find anyone who knows what is going on and or who will provide any information about a patient even after providing medical power of attorney. I was told a doctor will talk to me. When that didn't happen after 3 hours I was told the doctor would call me. After 2 days - nothing. Animals in a shelter are treated better - the patient was told to sit in the chair or in the bed and not move even though they are more than capable and allowed to walk with me. After a week I was told the patient needs physical therapy due to lack of movement - but if there was someone at the hospital that could walk with the patient this would be an easy way to get patients out of the hospital earlier, reduce cost, open bed. Henry Ford is by far the least efficient facility I have had to deal with and will avoid by all cost in the future. I just hope they stop buying up hospital that work.

Since my Hematologist switched to the…
Since my Hematologist switched to the Henry Ford Network I have experienced nothing short of excellence. They are courteous, understanding, patient and really cares to get it right. I disagree with some of the negative comments I have read. There is no such thing as a "perfect" system. They do a quality job. Gave them a chance. 5 stars to you Henry Ford. Kudos to staff!

Henry Ford billing department is…
Henry Ford billing department is extremely unprofessional and either not trained properly, or purposely mislead patience. I had a Henry Ford billing person call me and ask me for my date of birth and other personal info. I said I can't release that info until I have I feel comfortable that she is actually from Henry Ford. She said she can't due to HIPPA. Ok, you called me lady. She said she was returning a call. I said I did not leave a message. They changed her story and said that she was the rep that I talked to on the phone with my insurance provider. I said ok, what is the name of the insurance rep that was on that call. She said she can't say due to HIPPA. That is 100% false as HIPPA does not govern that. She got upset that I didn't want to want to take her at her word and give my personal info to a person who can't prove who they are. Henry Ford, please train your reps not to lie or mislead and to be more professional. Stop this non sense. So many elderly and trusting people get scammed and your reps are making patients feel bad that they want to confirm they are who them are. This is unacceptable.

Henry Ford has unfair billing practices…
Henry Ford has unfair billing practices - I made an appointment to be seen at Pain Clinic - was told visit would be $125, which I paid prior to being seen. I received a bill for $343 no explanation for charges (no tests or x-rays, only consultation was provided during appointment), nor reflection of $125.00 payment - when I called about bill, the customer service rep could not explain charges - I will never go to Henry Ford again - shame that the greedy are allowed to hold our health as hostage. Horrible, horrible, horrible business ethics, which in turn affects patient care.
