I seen all these horrible reviews after…

I seen all these horrible reviews after my purchase and instantly regretted it however my package showed up in 4 days. Makes me wonder if all those reviews are fake or all made by 1 person... excellent service 100% recommend

Ordered a plane which never arrived and my card was charged

I ordered an RC aircraft on Nov 11/20/25. It was supposed to come in 3-7 days. They sent an email that it was out of stock and it will arrive end of December. I wanted to cancel the order, but they offered some extras and I agreed to keep the order. End of December came and they said Well the items have arrived, but it will take time to check them out and will be shipped in mid-January. After a few days they sent an email showing a UPS ticket was opened to receive the item. In the meantime, I followed up numerous times by email as they have no phone number or contact information otherwise. It is now January 20, 2026 and I have not received the plane does nor have I heard back from them after many calls.I will be cancelling the order and requesting a charge back. I don't recommend this vendor to anyone. Unreliable and dishonest.

I ordered 2 items from them on 12/16/25…

I ordered 2 items from them on 12/16/25 and only received 1 ( the much lesser item)on 12/20. I reached out to them on 12/20 on where is the 2nd item with no response. On 12/22 I cancelled the order and still no response. On 12/30/25 I got an email that my order had shipped and I contacted them to send a return label since the order was cancelled and no response. I have reached out on 01/02/26 asking for a return label and a refund and still have not gotten any response. This is not a reputable company. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE. THE DO NOT HAVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ONLY STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Serious communication issues

I ordered an RC plane for my son for Christmas over three weeks ago and I finally got a tracking number after several emails complaining of the communication breakdown this company has. The best part is the tracking was received however, the tracking shows it was issued three days before it was sent to me. I looked up the tracking and it shows the shipment was created yet USPS has not received the item. These people have issues and should not operate any business. This whole time I received one email for communication and it was the tracking that has nothing attached to it. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY AND DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Don't buy from them!!!

I bought a 24in proboat blackjack on sale for $189 the week before black friday. 2 weeks went by with no tracking info or anything. I contacted them and they said that they were working to get my order out. After nearly 4 weeks, I got an email saying it was out of stock and I could get a refund or pick out another boat, but I'd have to pay the difference minus a small discount. If they had processed my order at a reasonable time, I probably could have gotten one. Instead they waited a month to do anything and at that point horizon hobby ran out of them. I honestly can't believe they are in business, they should close up.

Horrible Company! Run as Far Away as You Can!

Initially, I received a confirmation that my order was placed. Then nothing.....silence from the company when asked about when order will be shipped. No response.Two and a half weeks later and still no response.Their website is horrible for trying to check your order status. Sorry! There is no order status page.Good luck with this company. Never again! Negative stars if I could rate them like that.Update: Approximately one month after ordering, I did receive my order.

I purchased an RC plane, missing parts

I purchased an RC plane and it did not have 2 y wire harnesses. I have tried to contact them to get them to provide them as it should have been in the packaging. No response and no phone number to call. Having to pay $40.00 for new ones, so frustrating. They were out of the harness, but when they contacted me to tell me, I explained my situation and they emailed that they will send me new ones. I am waiting for them, but if I receive, I will update. If they would have had them in stock, I never would have ended up having communication with anyone.

****A V O I D this business****

I shouldn't even leave 1 star but you have to leave at least one to leave a review. I placed the order which they claim is filled and shipped within 2 days. Yet 3 days later they tell me the color of truck I want is out of stock and to pick the only color available or something else. If I wanted something else, I would have ordered that to begin with. Then I wait several more days for the order to be shipped, again way more than they claim. Then I receive an email saying that my "Seel Worry Free protection" has been cancelled. It was $7.18 but I was never refunded. They have no phone number and when I contacted customer support I get a bunch of excuses that have nothing to do with what I asked about. I sent them my phone number but like the cowards they are never called. I include my order number at the top of every email and within the email but they keep telling me they need to know my order number. 8 guess they are stupid too. Anyway tomorrow I go to the bank and file a claim to get my money back from these idiots

I ordered an arrows bigfoot

I ordered an arrows bigfoot. Customer service told me it was out of stock ad it would ship in about two weeks. It shipped as they promised, and the customer support was great.I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. My experience with hobby zone was pretty good.

Customer Service Does Not Exist

There basically is no customer service anymore with this company. I ordered a rc boat from them and after ten days no info on shipping. Have sent two emails asking for status, no reply at all. Try calling them and all you're told is leave a voice message. If I haven't heard anything by the time my credit card bill is due, I'll let my credit card company know I'm disputing the bill. I've bought from Hobby Zone several times in the past with no issues, but once this issue is settled I'm done with Hobby Zone.

FMS BAE Hawk Bad esc no customer service

I purchased the FMS BAE Hawk it arrived 06/04/2025.  I just got done putting it together, all went together easily. I plug my receiver in, then plug the battery in and nothing, No sound, beeping, or the receiver bind lights came on the receiver never came on. I tried another battery just in case, nothing. I tried a different receiver, but still nothing.  I pulled the fan out and the esc and installed MY Avian 100 amp esc and my esc activated w/ the beeps. I was able to bind the receiver and motor. The Motor was able fire up nicely. So the predator esc that came with it is dead. Can you send me a new Predator 100amp Esc replacement and a return label to send you the bad esc back to you. as of today with multiple emails to Hobby Zone and FMS no replies 5 days can not fly it poor customer support phone system is useless

Tech support is not answering the phone…

Tech support is not answering the phone and the chat site is telling me 48 hrs. Which is bs. Do buy anything they make. Bought an rc Aero scout for 250 and was dead on arrival. Now if I return it to rc superstore I must pay shipping cost. Never again..buyer beware!!!

Therefore, I would like to ask:Could you please guide me on where to locate this User Agreement? It appears essential for me to read and accept it in order to continue.This situation has caused me considerable frustration, and I would appreciate your prompt assistance.I also want to mention that I have made several purchases from Horizon Hobby. If you would prefer that I not shop at HobbyZone, I can certainly accommodate that.For your information, I retired after 41 years with IBM as an Advisory System Engineer. BEWARE!

BEWARE! I ordered an item on December 7th for a my grandson's big Christmas gift. It still has not arrived and now the tracking link provided says data not recognized. When I called the company on December 23rd, the person barely spoke English and had no idea what was going on. Beware!

Before placing an order....

Prices are good but what Hobby Zone doesn't tell you is shipping times and stock prior to you ordering. I placed an order on December 7th with hopes of arrival prior to Dec 25th. I called customer service (which is in India) to confirm the stock within the US, realizing some here complained about shipping from China. The customer service rep confirmed US stock, so I did not cancel. The next day I get an email with a Chinese shipper, and absolutely no estimated shipping time. Tried to immediately cancel which I was not able to since it was starting shipping process. Few business days later, the chinese shipper still hasn't updated the status. I had to order a similar RC crawler from Hobby Town with US stock and 5 day shipping to make it in time. Wasted $150. Thanks Hobby Zone. You should note stock and anticipated shipping in a transparent way instead of being shady.

Broken toys lead to broken dreams

The product I ordered from this store arrived with only half the box and tape over the inside styrofoam. Obviously, the product was returned before. Well, my son and I tried out the RC plane but, of course, it did not function properly. The steering flaps on the wings did not work. So, I reached out to Hobbyzone and asked for a refund or exchange but did not hear back from them. I sent three emails over the course of a week and not a single response. Meanwhile my 30 day return window was quickly drying up. Who runs a business like this? Can they be any more crooked? Absolutely shameful to sell defective toys to kids then ghost them afterwards.

Expensive China Junk

Had one flight with plane. Made a somewhat hard landing with plane tipping to its nose, not real hard, and motor no longer works. I will never purchase from this company again.
