This is a second review. After someone reaching and confirming that my subscription had in fact been taken care of and that I would be refunded for the two payments that should not have been taken, I am charged again today. This business is an absolute scam. It is a for profit well oiled machine. Do not use this service. How disorganized and uncommunicative the are is baffling. I can not be anymore more direct than saying do not use this service. They will take your money and not provide any outlet of communication to properly discontinue or manage your services with them.

I have been using them for depression/anxiety and now they are a big cause of my anxiety. You will go several days even weeks waiting for your refills and they only use chatbots to communicate

Lack of communication
Lack of communication is big and for someone who served in the military for 22 years in customer service I was very very disappointed. I tried reaching out numerous times but there is no phone number, you have to communicate via text or email which I did only to get bots. I wasn't even on the treatment for 2 months and every day they kept sending me a survey asking me how the medication was working and how many I had left, I would think they would know that seeing they hadn't shipped me any months. I only wanted to try for one month to see how if I had any negative reactions but sadly they charged me for two more months because I was on a 3-month plan. Even though I said I wanted to cancel and not have any more shipped they continuously sent me surveys thinking I was still on the medication. It didn't really help me much with my anxiety and depression if anything it increased it because of lack of communication.

Great results, if you can get through the minefield of their service
I'd been microdosing Ketamine from Joyous for more than a year and truly enjoyed the results. HOWEVER, their service and support have always been spotty and starting in February 2026 it became wretched. I took January off (dry January), and since then I have had 5! appointments in the last month; the provider didn't even show up at two of them. I have sent texts and emails, posted on their social media, and all I get are canned responses. It should not take 26 days to get your prescription sent.UPDATE 3/2/2026: Joyous responded to this review asking for my contact info and said they'd get in touch. I got a similar response from them when I posted on another website; I responded to that request 5 days ago but have yet to hear anything back. I have now responded to this request on TrustPilot, but I suspect the resonse was just their canned way of getting TrustPilot to mark them as resopnding to complaints without actually doing anything for the client.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with this company a couple of years ago, but decided to sign up again. Unfortunately, no one joined the initial call (I waited over 40 minutes and no one responded to my text/email for assistance. Sad to learn that the customer service has not improved and there is still no care or attention given to client experience. It is shameful that a company entrusted with the mental wellness of its clients has less-than-zero concern for the client experience.

AI Garbage and not reliable
It's completely AI except every few days a human may review the texts you send. They let my medication get lost in transit 20 days ago and will not file a claim to get me another. Instead their AI is fighting me saying my package was delivered, then saying I had to file a claim. But USPS specifically says the sender must file a claim. So I never received my second round of meds, and I was charged for 3 whole months. I've had to get a lawyer involved to recover my lost funds. Don't do this. AI SUCKS!!!!!!!

Success with Joyous microdose ketamine program
The Joyous low dose ketamine program has improved my life considerably. They covered all the bases with my treatment including telecom appointments. My state of mind and feeling of hope have improved dramatically . Rip off, stay away
The dosages are completely ineffective. Their patient portal server doesn't work and kept muting me even though my microphone was on, and I couldn't get my refill . Any response is virtual ai. I was charged monthly and they didn't give me a refill. This service is a ripoff scam. Stay away

My experience with Joyous and ketamine therapy was meaningful and genuinely life-altering.After years of treatment-resistant, lifelong depression, ketamine was the first thing that truly interrupted long-standing mental loops. Within just two doses, my opinion of myself shifted dramatically in a way that felt foundational and enduring. That shift alone was enough to start a real healing journey.For that, I am deeply grateful. Ketamine can be a powerful catalyst for people who have been stuck for a very long time.Through experience, I also learned that this medicine works best when it is approached with intention and clear boundaries. Set and setting matter greatly—quiet, minimal stimulation, eyes closed, and gentle, non-verbal music made a noticeable difference. This is not recreational; it is therapeutic and deserves respect.I also found that the deepest benefits occurred early. With prolonged, continuous dosing, the experience became less therapeutic for me, and over time I noticed increasing emotional dysregulation. In hindsight, I believe ketamine is most effective when used thoughtfully and for a limited duration rather than as an indefinite daily treatment.I share this as lived experience, not criticism. Ketamine therapy can be remarkable when used properly, and I am sincerely thankful for the role Joyous played in making this treatment accessible.

No customer service, WD $!!
I wrote a review and I was contacted by trust pilotI I was asked to add details. I texted for a refill. I have texted 5 times with no response. I have also emailed 4 times. AGAIN, no response. Regardless of what is texted, a standard feneric reponse is given. I went to the pt portal and everything in there is gone other than my name. There is no customer service, no human interection, no phone number to call. It is all AI generated. On LINKED the company founder and other senior management are very proud of their AI generated medical solution.They literally advertise as AI enhanced.They withdrew the monthly amount from my bank account. Tomorrow I will need to go to the bank to dispute the charge.

Honestly, how easy they made the whole process from the very first video appointment where they did the consultation and the follow up appointments have been very easy to schedule as well. I read a lot of stuff about other people having issues getting their meds on time and everything like that, and I didn’t have any of those issues I went ahead and scheduled my appointment early to get ahead of it and that seemed to be the right thing to do for me cause I haven’t had to run out of meds or anything like that and let me talk about what the medicine does for me. I did not realize how much of it was gonna help my chronic pain, but I also have noticed huge decrease in depression and anxiety, and I feel as though it’s making my other medication’s work even better so I don’t feel so overwhelmed all of the time. The medicine helps me feel more comfortable in my skin and it helps me focus more. It’s like there’s all this noise in my brain and the medicine helps Streamline and get rid of a lot of that noise. I am only pretty new here so I’m looking forward to seeing what the next few months will be like.
