one star
Lexia is honestly the worst experience a school could put you through and I have reasons. One I have done Lexia for 10 years and it hasn't ever helped me it's just so stupid and counterproductive and I hate it so much I used to like English but since I started Lexia and Lexia power up it's only been a negative experience. Also like I'm really good at reading and writing but then it puts me in a group that is just not at all what I'm on it makes it easy and then gets mad if you misspell like ONE word.It also never teaches you anything it only breaks your work down and only tells you about how bad you are at English skills. If I'm being completely honest, this has been the worst decision made regarding English standards and the English curriculum for the schools.1 star, worst experience ever.

honestly lexia is the worst app on apple store
This is honestly one of the most frustrating devices I’ve used in a long time. Alexa is supposed to be a “smart” assistant, but most of the time it feels anything but smart. The responses are slow, the commands fail constantly, and it struggles with even the simplest requests. Something as basic as asking for the weather, setting a timer, or turning on a light can turn into a whole process of repeating yourself over and over again. The voice recognition is terrible. Even when you speak clearly, it often misunderstands what you’re saying and gives a completely random response. Sometimes it will start playing music when you didn’t ask for any, or answer a question you never asked. It makes you wonder if it’s even listening properly in the first place.Another big problem is the speed. There are times where you ask something and it just pauses for several seconds before responding, which completely defeats the purpose of having a quick voice assistant. If you’re using it for convenience, the constant delays and mistakes quickly make it more annoying than helpful. It also activates randomly when nobody said the wake word, which gets really irritating after a while. You’ll just be talking normally and suddenly Alexa interrupts with some random response. Instead of making life easier, it often feels like the device is just getting in the way.Overall, the experience is disappointing. A smart assistant should be fast, accurate, and reliable, but this one struggles to do the basics consistently. Between the slow responses, constant misunderstandings, and random activations, it ends up feeling more like a frustrating gadget than something actually useful.

This makes me want to crash out so bad that when I got 10 wrong on tone and mood, I got a power up. But when I got 5 wrong on informational text, it didn't give me a power up.I just hope I finish power up.

This app is terrible
This app is terrible! i rather stare into a wall for 10 hours then do this trash. It has a ai voice which caused me to mute since it is painful to listen to. When you get a question wrong they act like you just started the whole lesson. I do not recommend this app, if you are a teacher your student wont learn anything.

Its so bad :(
Lexia is often marketed as a powerful literacy tool, but in practice it can feel frustrating, ineffective, and poorly designed for real learning. The biggest issue is how rigid and repetitive the program is. Instead of adapting to how students actually learn, it forces them through the same drills over and over, even when they already understand the material. This doesn’t build skills — it builds boredom. The pacing is another major problem. Some lessons drag on forever, while others jump ahead too quickly, leaving students confused or disengaged. The program rarely explains why an answer is right or wrong, so mistakes don’t become learning opportunities. They just become obstacles. The interface feels outdated and clunky, especially compared to modern educational tools. The animations are slow, the audio cues get annoying fast, and the overall experience feels more like busywork than meaningful instruction. Many students end up clicking through just to get it over with, which defeats the entire purpose.Teachers often report that Lexia’s data looks impressive on paper but doesn’t reflect real reading growth. The program measures how well students can navigate Lexia, not how well they can read in the real world. In short, Lexia tries to be a one‑size‑fits‑all solution, but ends up fitting almost no one. It’s repetitive, unengaging, and often ineffective — a tool that creates more frustration than progress. It is so annoying when you click on the wrong thing it blabs about how you should do better for like 50 minutes. Please do something or make the interface more exciting 🙏

Can someone fix this corrupted software? It's even worse than Spanish class
I see that Lexia is trying to help people, and I respect that. This app is not particularly the one I would choose. Here are the reasons why:- The endings and themes seem to really focus on cartoons and illustrations. This is especially in the beginning, showing 30 seconds of animated animals, and I feel like you are trying to make me feel like a 5 yr old- The instructions and explanations take FOREVER to explain. The narrator just talks too slowly- If I mess up, it requires me to do 8 extra exercises. That is EIGHT EXTRA EXERCISES!!! Then imagine messing those ones- I have to do the same thing over and over and over. The other day, my friend was saying that he got the same question five times in a row- It takes nearly 90 days (amount of time it took me to get through level 19) to finish one level. And there are 21 levels. My teacher boosted me up to level 19 after I took a test (thankfully 😫). The amount of days: 90*21 = 1890 days. Please, for our sake, lower that amount significantly - I know everything here and all of the levels are exactly the same. It even has the same lessons. Only thing different is the background theme. Sometimes I feel like an AI in training- My friends always complain that this is the most frustrating app at school. I literally LAUNCHED MYSELF OFF A STOOL while doing this app.If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to ask me or reply to my comment (if that's even a thing). Just try to avoid this software. Please.

This stupid app teaches me nothing and…
This stupid app teaches me nothing and if you get actually only 2 questions wrong, you have to do like a 5 year side quest that teaches you how to do the questions, and the stupid expressionless voice is unskippable so you have to wait 5 years to actually do the problems again.

Not super cool
This website is very repetitive with it's lessons, especially on grammar. They screwed employees to make the website run on AI, and even worse, It doesn't adapt to how you learn!I'm in the 7th grade in an advanced class (Which isn't different from regular classes) and we have to do this, it's the school that enforces it, not the teachers. Can we just use something different? Like, get ONE question wrong, and it yaps for 30 minutes, and you lose your streak! Get 2 questions wrong, and you'll be put in an area where questions don't count towards a UNIT.Mistakes punish you, they don't help you. The explanations on why you got an answer wrong is vague and doesn't help with real learning. And people just don't care and just get through the unit by clicking. A lot of other people at my school hate it too. And it's supposed to be fun when it's BORING.Some lessons and units drag on for a WHILE, while others jump ahead. Completing it takes MONTHS of mind-rotting speech. Which the speaker takes SO long to explain what to do. You can't even continue until the speaker finishes. Please help me 😭
Glowin's reviews on stuff
Worst application in decades.
Where do I start? I’m in 10th grade and I think this stuff is absolutely nonsense. It’s teaching me things I learned in 2nd maybe 3rd grade. The AI robot lady yaps NONSTOP and FOREVER. And out of all honesty? This application is AWFUL, worse than Iready. By a LONGSHOT. I would rather watch paint dry for hours than do this for 10 minutes. God awful.

I liked the 2 mini games before you start!
The 2 minigames before you start learning is fun I speedruned both and got 30-40 points! And level 15th about texting the people and iguana was super cool! Thanks to some fun levels I could give it a 5 star but some was boring.
