Returns are diffficult

THIS company frequently changes their return policy. The counter does not allow enough room to safely open your items and inspect them. My more expensive items...an ice cream maker and a luxury towel set were not received it looks like staff may be stealing these items. We will see how they respond to my requests.

It's a SCAMMM be careful !!

It's a SCAMMM be careful !!! I GOT SCAMMED FOR THE AMOUNT OF 284€ !!!They'll scam your money and give you a fake tracking number which will keep emailing every week saying that's it's somewhere new and in the end it will tell you it's been delivered BUUTT to another totally different country but they'll use something real you have put in your address like in my experience they used the postal code and when you email them they'll always reply at least after a week and say the same thing or send you a picture that it has been delivered from the tracking number and when I sent them an email the same second I made the purchase to cancel it and refund they didn't won't reply before the items been shipped so this way they'll tell you they cant refund you !! And still until now I keep telling them I want a full refund and they keep replying with the same thing that it's been delivered even after emailing them every single day for 2 months and still going, they didn't and won't refund me and just send me the same replies once every week or more Soo DOONTT EVERR TRY TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM !!!

Extortion experts

I'm loathe to give even one star but unfortunately there is "Negative Star For Scumbags" option so it must suffice. If you're reading this, let's hope you proved to be more savy than I about protecting yourself against whom are willing and waiting to take advantage of you. Hindsight taught me a lesson, so let me teach it to you : Just because every other dealing you have had with every other auction house or wholesale place in the city was pleasurable is no guarantee that that will continue to be a trend. So yes, I should have known better and read the fine print. With honesty and integrity falling into such sharp decline, taken under by the ever prevalent dishonesty and unscrupulousness, you have the intuitive feeling those cunningly vile behaviours must have a mothersource and, Lo and Behold! I have found them both, personified in Uncle Weiner's MegaSavers auction! While these auctions certaintly look to be a good deal, and indeed may even be - if you plan on buying one, two items. Buyer beware if you plan on purchasing multiple items though, for every item that you purchase, there is an extra $2.50 added. Per item.Let me verify - Purchase Price + 18% auction fee + Taxes +$2.50. On a bill of $19.50, a total of $4.50 was the purchase price, 18% fee, and taxes. The other $15? An "auctionilisim" fee. That's EIGHTY PERCENT of my bill, this "auctionilism" fee. Feeling a little surrealism? Me too. So how about we lose that asinine word and call it what it really is - an extortion fee.So okay if you do single buys, it can be forgivable. But anything that is 6 items or more, and it will double what you think you are going to pay. Or worse.Don't like that bill and want a refund? No problem! There's just a minimum $15 fee, or 30% of the bill (whichever is more) plus taxes on the total bill.Again, let me verify - you get the privilege not only of paying them an extra $2.50 per item, but then $15 to give to it back! And don't forget to pay your taxes again!MegaSavers they call this auction. I wonder, pray tell, do you choke on those words like you once did weiners when you have to say them? Or do they fall out of your mouth as easily as other peoples money falls into your bank account? This is by far the most shady, unscrupulous, despicable company I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. The only abashedly thin sliver of any honest conscience I can see in the whole enterprise is their garish but wholly appropriate choosing of the name Uncle Weiner's - because they are nothing but dicks. If fact, if they'd put as much effort into going into business to make benefits for everyone instead of themselves, they'd have taken a position with Trojan because being the massive dicks that they are, they'd have millions for all.If you are looking for an auction place not only knows that honesty and integrity are but actively partakes in them, try Beck's Auctions or Kastner's Auctions and you won't be disappointed. Or broke. If you have masochistic tendencies or autosadism is up your alley, give this weiner a go. If not, I suggest you run - run fast - cause this Uncle Weiner's pulled out and it's covered in shit.

I bought a Picatinny adapter at megasaveoutlet.com

I bought a Picatinny adapter at megasaveoutlet.com, they received my money and sent me an email saying:"Thank you for your recent order #1161757003258042787 with us. We are pleased to confirm that your payment has been successfully received. We are expediting the shipment of your order and aim to dispatch it at the earliest opportunity. You will be provided with the tracking number once it is shipped, so please keep an eye on your email for this information. The delivery is estimated to take place within 3-15 working days.Should you have any questions or encounter any issues, please feel free to reach out to us at Jeanne-at-viponlinehelp.com, and we will get back to you promptly.Warm regards,"So far, it’s been over a week and even though I’ve requested my tracking number, there’s been no response from them. Also, it seems very suspicious that the reply comes from a different website domain.I’m starting to get that helpless feeling you get when you're being scammed. But that’s the way the world is now.

I hate Mega Saver

I hate Mega Saver. At the pump, they ask if you want a receipt, but you never get one. When you go in to get your receipt because you didn’t get one, the store reaks of cigarette smoke. Nasty! The pumps also stop before your tank is full. Grrr. And to top it off, they bought out a bunch of QT locations, which were clean, well stocked and gave you the receipt at the pump if you asked for it. I hate Mega Saver.

Crooks and scam artists

Crooks and scam artists, bait and switch, advertise new items and ship you useless broken garbage. No matter how long you spend send countless emails, photos, transaction records, whatever, they do not refund, replace, or credit anything. They hide behind rented storefronts and employees refuse or claim not to know anything about the company head office or employer. This is a very large scam.

Complete scam company

Complete scam company. Bid on an item and a bunch of other items. The only expensive item was missing from the shipment. A employee either missed it or stole it. They will not refund the money because I took the boxes home without checking at the store. I trust all my items are there why would I check at the store. No one mentioned this to me either.

False advertising, bad merchandise, deceptive and unethical, bad customer service

I have been buying auction items from mega savers auction since 2020. At first I was satisfied with the price and quality of goods (at the time it was surplus/returned stuff from Costco) and the additional fees on top of the winning bid was fairly reasonable. Items shipped arrived in generally good condition as advertised with a few exceptions. An occasional item needed to be returned and was handled promptly.Since 2023, they increased their fees and started auctioning Amazon return items. Everything went downhill from there. FALSE ADVERTISING, DAMAGED GOODS, POOR PACKAGING AND SHIPPINGNearly half the items I purchased have been damaged, broken, missing or defective/not working or the wrong item. The packaging and shipping is poor, items arriving smashed, liquid items not packaged properly so it leaks and ruins other items packaged with it, items are missing, electronic items defective and not working, the wrong item completely, and items advertised as new are in used condition. These were returned Amazon items for a reason--they are garbage. DECEPTIVE On the auction site they do not show the actual items they are selling but downloaded pictures from the internet. They almost always advertise items as 3/3 (new or open package) or 2/3 (used but acceptable). It's false. Very few items I bought were in new condition. Almost half were damaged, missing or defective, or the wrong item.VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICESince their business has become something of a scam, customer service no longer exists. You cannot just return items to their outlet store for a refund. You have to email and email and email with pictures, descriptions, invoice etc and demand a refund or credit. THEY DO NOT REFUND. If they reply at all you only get a credit for future auction purchases. A CREDIT IN NOT APPLIED until 1) you get an email reply from them agreeing to apply a credit 2) you bring the items to the outlet with a copy of their email saying they will apply a credit 3) wait and wait and wait for them to apply the credit to your account 4) another round of email demanding they apply the credit 5) wait some more 6) buy more of their auctioned crap to wait and see if a credit is applied.BAIT, SWITCH, NO RESOLUTIONI have currently been waiting for over a month for someone to reply to my emails just as the initial step in getting them to apply credit. They have a customer service phone number. I called the number. They say to call a new number. I call the new number. No one answers. I just get a beep. I call the old number again. A recorded message. I pressed "3" and got another recording to leave a message and that someone would call back in 24-48 hours. I'm still waiting. This "business" is not BBB approved. Mega Savers Auction needs to be investigated. It seems like they are just pushing garbage items to make the maximum amount of money and then prevent any form of responsibility and accountability for their merchandise, customer service and business practices.I feel sorry for any staff that has to push their junk then face the wrath of angry buyers who can't get refunds for returned items. The pick up outlet is Uncle Weiners stores. I don't know if Mega Savers Auction is a business arm of Uncle Weiner's or where the buck stops. But I know the staff at the store is also frustrated by all the many, many returns from customers and are the front line for angry auction customers.Perhaps a class action lawsuit is the only way left to stop this unethical business operation and to finally get a refund!

Do treat money like that a business

Can’t believe this is still a business. Talk about the most disgusting company I’ve spent hard earned money on . Not only do they advertise the wrong product you think you are bidding on they will also claim it’s a 3/3 and claim nothing is wrong with the product.nothing but lies and false advertising.. if you have any respect for your money treat it better then giving it to this company to get something you can find for free in the dumpsters . Shame on the owner of this scam company.

Selling untested garbageuntested garbage

They sold me items that they said we're working and we're not tested. For me to return them and they wanted me to prove that they were not working. Meaning I'm testing the products for them. Wasted my time using this auction. I'm filing a complaint with Visa.

I have had broken items

I have had broken items, wrong items described and items incorrect or empty containers. You cannot leave it with mega mart when you pick it up you have to return it to them after customer service ok's it. Customer service (an oxymoron) does not respond for weeks to your complaints. I bought an induction egg poacher and it does not work on induction like they said it did. I bought a salt cellar and it is porcelain and chipped in the corner by the hinge. I bought a vacuum robotic and it does not pick up anything.

Bad customer service and lots of item errors

4 items shipped wrong....the items received were not even close to what I bid on and won. There customer service is a joke. I called them to notify them of the error and was told I had to email them. I emailed them and had to send pictures....was told they had to investigate first....it has been a few weeks and I'm still waiting for them to confirm that a case of suet bird seed is not sound accoustical tiles....they make the customers jump through all kinds of hoops for mistakes they make...then they are rude about it. There girl that works at the Winnipeg desk is also cheeky. Really ticked me off at the very poor customer service. Once I get my credit for the wrong items I returned I will no longer be dealing with them at all. Terrible service and lots of errors on items.

Out of the last about 10 auctions and…

Out of the last about 10 auctions and many many items I won/purchased as new from auction- only 4 pieces were in acceptable (but used) condition. An air fryer I paid more than $50 for and was listed as 3/3 new in box- was full of oil and burnt trays and inside. Pieces were missing and there were weird pieces of pipe that didn’t belong. The deep fryer I bough as new (3/3) was incomplete and full of oil. Costumes I purchased that were new - almost all incomplete and used with stains as well as deodorant marks. Gross. Very disappointed. Attempting to work with head office.

Just don't waste your time or money!

I've been stupidly going onto the auction for years. Stopped because the items were crap for the longest time, until recently. Lately they've had Amazon items, which got me interested again. Then I get the items and realize I've been scammed yet again! Opened one item and there was a completely different product, another didn't even turn on, and a 3rd was labelled the right lot number but wrong product! All other things had already been used and obviously returns. All my things were supposed to be 3/3 and I didn't receive one new thing out of 20!!! I've attempted to apply for refunds on the 3, so we'll see. I'm doubtful, even with the thousands I've spent with them (I feel so stupid). Hopefully this review helps save someone even $1!
