I had a so disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with MK Automobiles Ltd.I booked an MOT appointment based on their high rating and positive reviews (on RAC app), trusting that the service would be professional and efficient. My appointment was at 9:00am and I know the MOT would take around 40–45 minutes. However, I was asked to return at 12:30–1:00pm to collect the car and but I still ignored that they will delivery the car late. When I arrived at 12:30pm, I was told there was a delay because DVLA had not responded — something I have never experienced before with any MOT centre. I was then told to come back at 2:30pm. As someone who has a sick person at home to care for, this level of delay without proper explanation was extremely inconvenient. When I questioned the purpose of booking an appointment if I was going to wait this long, they suddenly completed the MOT within 15 minutes and issued a “Failed” result. What concerned me most was that what appeared to be minor issues were marked as major faults.During this time, I was asked to wait but was not offered a seat or shown any waiting area, which I found quite unprofessional. The staff’s overall attitude was rude and unhelpful throughout the process.I was also told that I would receive a quote for the issues found, but I never received any follow-up communication. Additionally, when I mentioned that I would be paying for the MOT using a voucher, I was spoken to quite abruptly and asked why I hadn’t informed them earlier — despite never being told that this was required.Overall, the service was poorly organised, unprofessional, and disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this garage.

AVOID
Avoid!!I was waiting to write this review until I received compensation from the finance company for what has happened, which I have now received. ( awarded for being sold a car with a pre-existing fault and also due to the delays caused by the garage)I bought a car (Citroen C3 67 plate) and arranged collection on the 27th September. After driving the car around 20 miles my dad checked the car over and noticed that the exhaust was blowing. Also, the scratches that were due to be buffed out hadn’t been. I called them to advise and was made to feel like I was making it up. After pushing they agreed to look at it (booked in for a week or so later) I then drove a further 20ish miles and the noise was getting louder.Sunday morning (28th) I decided I would take the car back so they could hear it. As I pulled away to set off, the whole exhaust fell off the car in the road, flicked up and put small holes in the bumper.I called them immediately and was told there wasn’t anyone I could speak with, so I emailed them to say that this had happened and as this was a major fault I wished to reject the car (after seeking advice from my finance broker).I received a call from Brian on the Monday (29th) apologising for the issue and said he was sorry this issue had ‘happened so soon’. He said that they would arrange to fix it. I declined the offer and advised that I would still wish to reject the car as I had no faith in the company given that such a major fault had occurred within hours of driving the car away. He said he would be back in touch, but he didn’t think I would be able to do that.He called me back and his tone was rude and dismissive, saying that they had reviewed the photographs further and accused me of me of hitting the car as he claimed the photographs I sent over showed impact externally and not internally, which was not the case. They continued to blame me for the fault and wanted to inspect the car, which I was happy for them to do, however wanted to obtain an independent inspection of the car prior to theirs as I didn’t trust them. The independent inspection carried out by ACE showed the exhaust and system was 75% corroded and was clearly evident that the exhaust had been just about hanging on. The inspector had said after the inspection that it had been obvious what had happened just from the photographs I’d sent to them before he attended and confirmed in the report that the issue had been present at the time of sale. – They still didn’t believe this and said they felt this was ‘suspicious’- which is bizarre as rust to that extent doesn’t occur within a 12 hour periodThe MOT had been conducted days before collection of the car; this corrosion wasn’t even flagged as an advisory which is very concerning.MK Automobiles also conduct a 90-point check (as documented on their website), I asked if the exhaust is part of this inspection- I did not get a response. However, I believe if they had put the car on a ramp, there was no way of missing this major issue.Luckily, this happened on a slow-moving road and other road users were able to avoid the exhaust in the road until I could get it, however if this had happened on a fast-moving road or motorway this could have caused a major accident. The company have been rude/ condescending and unprofessional throughout our interactions and delayed the unwinding of the car. I rejected the car on the 28thSeptember. They only agreed (unhappily) on the 11thNovember, they then delayed payment back to the lender until the 3rd December (after the broker had to pass it to their debt collection team due to non payment).I dealt with Brian and Imitaz throughout. This company have caused a lot of unnecessary stress to me and also cost me financially. I have bought cars previously and never been treated the way I have been by MK Automobiles. AVOID!!!

We bought an astra around 18 months…
We bought an astra around 18 months back, same as all the others have experienced, looked well online when through and bought the car. 2 weeks later we started with problems. Had to have the clutch done at our expense, all sorts started to happen including suspension replacement, driveshafts replaced, lots of sensors failing, the garage weren't interested once they got our money. I have voluntarily returned it now thank goodness, not a very pleasurable first car buy experience, oh and like others have said, no way did it pass the MOT test, must have got it from the cereal box. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!! I am writing this review again as the other I wrote at the time seems to have disappeared..

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!I drove 2 hours to drop my partner off to collect a car which he saw online. Upon arrival, the car was unclean and had a sticky substance on the dashboard. Due to traffic delays it was going to take my partner 3 hours to get home. After 45 minutes of driving the car broke down ... the engine had overheated. It took 1.5 hours for the recovery vehicle to arrive and he was taken back to the garage. They have not offered any support with getting him home despite the car not being roadworthy!Absolutely fuming!

AVOID! Same story as all other reviews. Car upon delivery was filthy, mold in the boot, under the fuel flap some strange green fungus growing. No way did this car pass an MOT yesterday, front drivers tyre baldy, other 3 not far off. I have rejected the delivery, haven't paid the deposit and contacted the finance company and cancelled the purchase.

nissan X trail 63 plate.
Brought my nissan X trail 63 plate.from here. Viewed on line and it looks lovely and clean like a new car. When I went to see it on the Friday it was dirty inside and out and the finance has already paid for this car before I actually seen it. As I only saw it on line. Well one month in had to buy a new battery. Cut a long story short up to now had to spend £2.000 on this car and now motor for windscreen wipers have gone now. Avoid this place like the plague. It's definitely not worth £8.368 00

Bought a 2014 White Citroen C4 Picasso with issues
Bought a 2014 White Citroen C4 Picasso with 59,000 miles on the 7/3/24 . Staff were friendly enough but the car was very dirty and not valeted at all after closer inspection plus the cover for rear window wiper mechanism is broken and also the issue with 2 cracked tyres with metal showing was not sorted ( per MOT Advisory ) and drove 350 miles back too Scotland with them on . Feel very let down . Will need to get it professionally valeted , get replacement cover and tyres changed at own cost . Not happy at all !

Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid
Avoid this place like the plague. I bought a car from here back in the Summer. Within a matter of weeks, the clutch went. I spoke with the garage and ‘Daz’ the salesman has an extremely poor attitude. I asked multiple questions which could’ve come across as paranoid which he pointed out. With the experience I’ve had I was well within my right to be paranoid. Upon the first day I inspected the car and it looked good. Couple of small defects here and there but nothing major just cosmetic. I test drove and everything seemed okay. I drove it home and did some light driving for the following weeks, I went to take it on the motorway and the revs flew up. My personal mechanic inspected it and said clutch and dual mass. I spoke with this garage and they were reluctant to do anything until I said I will get my finance company involved. They then agreed to “fix” only if I delivered the car. After around a week and a half I was called to say this is complete and I can pick up. So I did. This is a 80-100 mile round trip. Upon collection I got as far as the motorway which is only about a mile and half, going up the slip road, revs flew through the roof. I couldn’t re drop it it off as they had closed for the day so I had to go home. I took it straight to my mechanic, he inspected everything. This time he said the anti roll bar linkage joint is still knackered even though this was a fail on the mot sheet and the rumbling/ clicking/ clunking noise upon steering is my drive shaft joint. Once again, this was a fail on the mot. He also said the gearbox was leaking oil badly and the clutch was definitley not done correctly if at all. After more phone calls, the garage agreed to take the car back in for ‘fixing’ but told me the courtesy car is with someone who appears to be out of the country. They messed me about so much with this it’s crazy. They told me I had to wait for the courtesy car or drive the potentially knackered car to them. After constant back and forth they then agreed to a recovery truck. All the while my car was off the road but I was still having to pay for it. My car was again in the garage for another week to 2 weeks having it sorted. I said I would give the car back but they weren’t having any of it. Possibly because they knew the car was knackered and seem to use a dodgy MOT station off site. Not only this but the dirty person who ‘fixed’ my car got greasy dirt marks all up the inner door pillar which is a light fabric. I still to this day can’t get it out properly. The things the MOT station say we’re repaired weren’t and my own mechanic said this. I trust him a hell of a lot more compared to these clowns. If you appreciate your money and need something worth your money, honestly AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

everyone smiles and happy when buying…
everyone smiles and happy when buying car... but then when things go wrong they are totally useless. We bought car 4 Feb. Back for repairs within 30 days of purchase - car with garage for 3 weeks - but not all issues fixed - so back to them again - they have had the car 7 weeks this time ( So they've had it 10 weeks in total ) and still no word from them on when they think they may be able to fix it.Engine problem showed within 5 miles of leaving garage so back it went - Brian said "it wasnt doing this when we drove it!" - adamant they will not refund, - to quote Brian " theres no way you'll get your money back from us" despite them being unable to diagnose/fix the problem they've know about since February. . Had every excuse - people off sick, family emergencies, needing parts, being busy etc etc.... Brian refuses to get his boss to call me or to put me through to the boss/owner.if you do but from them, pay by credit card so you have chance of doing a chargeback. They are a bunch of cowboys

Go to proper shop or company if you have money! If you don't have money buy from neighbourhood or somewhere you know!Buying a car from here it is like buying from ebay or gumtree, you must be really taking your chance. I understand if you buying a phone charger or flip flops for your holiday, it doesn’t really matter. You are buying a car and spending thousands. I bought a car and it broke down after few months. Fixing cost is almost half of the car. Disappointed and angry and I'm sorry this is how I feel now because I spent 4k and few month later it is a pile of metal.
