United Express Moving and Storage — A Nightmare ExperienceI strongly advise anyone considering United Express Moving and Storage to look elsewhere. Our experience was riddled with deception, poor service, and a complete lack of accountability.To start, the driver was four hours late for pickup — no explanation, no apology. We were told this would be a “live load,” meaning our items would be transported immediately. Instead, they were left unlocked at a truck stop for an entire week. We only found this out after repeated calls and vague responses.The company uses aggressive, high-pressure sales tactics to get you to commit quickly, and once they have your items, the story changes. We were notified after pickup that they had up to 21 business days to deliver — a major surprise that was never disclosed upfront.They also rely heavily on third-party shipping services, which means no direct tracking and zero accountability. Communication was dismal throughout. We were left in the dark, constantly chasing updates that rarely came.To top it off, we were hit with surprise fees that weren’t mentioned during booking. The entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch.Do your research — far better than I did. This company is not what they claim to be, and the stress, uncertainty, and poor service simply aren’t worth it.

Less than ZeroPersistent but warm and laid back aa the phone calls start. Finally get you to agree and then force a 50% deposit. Then they will (aa a complete suprise to themselves) alert you 30 min after the 3 hour window that they will not make the CONTRACTED time. I was assured time and time again that they wouldwork with my storage company to break the lock and get my things. Only to phone me 4days aftet they missed the CONTRACTED pick up appointment to tell me if I wanted them to deliver my things I would need to pay a $400 “rescheduling fee“ - comical, right? But when I laughed and told Justin Sharp that he wss Fing Hilarious he hung up the phone without a salutation and then all my calls went to voicemail. These guys are 100% runninng a scam. They stole my $2000 and refused a refund. Better look somewhere else for a trustworthy moving company.

They made me pay for the same service 3 times.Initial bill was 1800, I ended up paying 2600 and most of my items are damaged or lost. Even though they charged me "Admin fee" which was not originally part of the invoice, and later "Storage Fee" which was not my responsibility, and "Loading and Unloading Fee" which was something they should be responsible for as a moving company, in the end they treatened to auction my belongings if I do not accept their demands, and that I will never see them again otherwise etc. Yet somehow to my surprise last day the truck attempt to make delivery but citing some trees on the road, they could not deliver and they left my goods on the road literally 0.5 miles away from where they are supposed to deliver and I had to haul them with my small pickup truck. Stay away at all cost!!Sadly edited after I got to open the boxes: There were 40 items I had delivered with signature, when I came there were only 30, and I had hand packed these luggages and boxes to the point that it was very difficult to open. Sadly I am missing a lot of my tools that I deliberately packaged. to use for my renovation projecti in Florida, I am missing 2 complete metal cooking ware each were purchased for 500 or more, many of my expensive kitchen ware like vitamix etc, purchased for near 450 when new missing.. Some of my construction lights missing, I had shipped 3 monitors with them they are nearly 1K each, I am afraid to open those boxes since the boxes are highly damaged..These guys are THIEVES!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY

BEWARE!!! United Express is a broker, when you speak with them you are NOT speaking with the company will actually be handling the move. My 87 year old mother contacted this company, believing she was dealing with the company that would actually be doing the move. She was moving from California to Georgia. She paid a $10,000 brokers fee. Moving day was pushed back one day. When the movers arrived the truck was not the size of your typical interstate moving company. The driver wasn’t sure if all of my mother’s items would fit. Twelve hours later, everything is packed. It has now been a week and my mom’s furniture is still sitting in Las Vegas waiting to be transported via another local moving company. They estimate my mother’s belongings will arrive in 21 business days, they don’t work weekends. She has already paid United Express over $10,000, over $6,500 to the ACTUAL movers and will be required to pay another $6,500 to the movers that will deliver her belongings. This company is a complete and total scam.

United movers came to do a house move…
United movers came to do a house move for me on the 4th of July from.one property to another in Nuneaton. They were absolutely brilliant. They came on time there were 2 removal vans they dismantled and re assembled at new place they started at 9am and were finished by 12.30. They packed my things very carefully and even took things they didn't have too the 3 men thay did the removal were really nice and I would definitely recommend united movers. Excellent customer service thankyou to united movers

Wasted two weeks
I ask if I could get my 86 year mother moved from alabama to colorado they say yes spent 2 weeks to fine out if she can't do it vertical they can't move her. I have spent 60,000 in the past with them they don't gave a crap they are not a moving company they are a scam company about anyone.

Awful Communication, Slow moving time
My entire move with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. The moving carrier which they assigned for my move has been extremely rude, unprofessional, and has not met any delivery date that they have told me in the 3+ weeks they have had my stuff. I still have no clear answer on when I will be receiving my belongings, where my belongings are, or why I have not received them on any of the dates I had been given. The company that brokers coordinate for the move I believe is a reflection of United Movers and Storage, and unfortunately this has been the worst moving experience I have ever had. There are also a lot of hidden and pop-up fees, such as a $450 "shuttle" fee because they claimed they could not fit the moving truck into my previous apartment's streets. I have had to initiate every single point of communication with the moving company and they do not answer emails, or voicemails. I now have lawyers involved as we are nearing the date where it would be considered breach of contract. Please stay away if you do not want your move to be more stressful than it needs to be, and if you want your belongings in a reasonable time.

Awful company - do not go anywhere near them. They promise set collection and delivery dates on the phone its then like a lottery. Staff unhelpful and very rude. They just sub-contract out and don't care after they get their deposit.

This company is nothing more than a crook. I wish I had seen these reviews before depositing $1,100 on July 26th 2023.My contract called for a pickup on the 3rd or 4th. On the 4th, I called to find out status, they called back and said driver to arrive on the 5th. Then the 6th... After leaving multiple messages to customer support, sales, logistics etc I kept getting delayed. Finally I made commitment to cancel yet no one called back.Consumers beware of this company. They are frauds. They said they were a moving company- they lied. I found out that California Consumer Affairs cannot do anything because these frauds are brokers from Florida.I've since filed a complaint with BBB, Consumer Affairs and my Bank for Fraud and Non Performance.Do not make the same mistake like me and others who have filed a complaint. RUN from these POS!

United Movers and Storage ripped me off for $2,000. I booked a moving date with them only to find out they were not DOT verified. Withing 24 hours I called back to cancel the move and since then they have blocked my phone number and emails. I sent a certified letter to them. a complaint to the BBB and department of transportation both federal and in the State of Florida. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Not a Mover - A Broker | No Support for Damages and Delays
Unfortunately, my experience with United does not resemble the other reviews. Only the sales pitch was delivered perfectly.1) Took 54 Days to move from Salt Lake to Cincinnati.2) Items not picked up in Salt Lake for 6 weeks after pickup from my home.3) Items on "shared truck" not marked by customer, resulting in missing items. (The movers delivering my items were not provided any list and the first item off the truck was not mine). Missing items included key parts for bed, making bed unusable upon delivery.4) Items not protected on truck with blankets resulting in significant damage to bedroom and dining room furniture.5) When damage reported to United, they "passed the buck" to the third-party service provider they contracted for my move. They have taken no customer service measures other than refer me to a third-party I did not select for the move.**** This is a broker, not a mover. Don't pay a premium for poor service or accountability if damage occurs. They contract with third-party providers, so go with a company that owns-the-trucks and can support any issues that occur. *******

I couldn't be happier with my choice of United Movers for my 5,000+ sq. ft., 3-story house move from Kentucky to Palm Beach. From the start, Michael was incredibly responsive to all of my questions and concerns. The move was challenging due to the location of our house in Kentucky not being easily accessible for a semi-truck, but United Movers came up with a creative solution by renting a local truck to transport our belongings to a truck stop, then reloading them onto the semi.The team of movers, Jose, Jonathan, and Manny, were exceptional. They took great care with my belongings and were constantly communicating with me throughout the process. They were also incredibly accommodating and accommodating to any special requests I had.United Movers also accommodated my need to pack one weekend and hold everything until the next weekend due to the closing dates of my houses, and they scheduled the same team to unpack me, which was a huge relief.The team of Jose, Manny and Jonathan did an amazing job unpacking everything. They didn't rush to just get done and go home, they actually cared and were concerned about my things. I even have very fine European crystal that I have broken before just from hand washing them, but NOT ONE OF THEM were broken during the move.I was also impressed that I didn't need the additional insurance I purchased with the team of United Movers. They were truly amazing!I will recommend and only use United Movers in the future. I don't know what you pay this team, but whatever it is, it's not enough! They are great ambassadors for your company!

This was my first big move on my own going across the US. It was pretty smooth from start to finish. They kept me in the loop through my whole moving process. I was nervous because I have a decent amount of antiques but they made me feel secure and comfortable. Def referring my military friends and family. Thank you!!
