This product has consistently been a top notch product (FL7) for folder security in the Windows environment. At a very reasonable cost point, and excellant service I would HIGHLY reccomend it!

I have been using Folder Lock for quite some time already, and I am extremely satisfied with the product. For my needs, it is the best product on the market. A few years ago, I switched to a new computer, and Michelle Rossevelt was very helpful in assisting me in the transfer of Folder Lock to the new PC. Recently I ran into an issue when closing the program. It was not serious, just a nuisance only. When I asked for assistance, Michelle Rossevelt was there again! After a few tweaks, we found a way to close the program normally again. Again, Folder Lock is an excellent program, backed by a dedicated team.

I have been using Folder Lock for a few years and couldn’t be happier with it! It’s one of those rare pieces of software that just works perfectly and gives total peace of mind. The interface is clean and easy to understand, yet it offers incredibly powerful features for securing files, folders, and even entire drives.What really impressed me is how quick and seamless it is; you can lock or encrypt sensitive data in seconds, and it stays absolutely safe. I also love the extra tools like secure backup and password wallets, which make it so much more than just a file locker.I’ve tried other security programs, but none of them come close to the reliability and versatility of Folder Lock. It delivers exactly what it promises and goes above and beyond.Recently I had to migrate Folder Lock to a new PC but had lost the Authorisation Code. I contacted Customer Support and within one working day I had been sent a new code and was up and running. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommended to anyone who values privacy and wants bulletproof protection for their data.
Very understanding and great service
I am enjoying privacy and security Folder Lock provides me. Since I purchased Folder Lock in March 2018, I have had problems with my computer multiple times and had to reinstall windows, each time requiring reinstalling the Folder Lock program. But each time the BMT Micro representative (Michelle Rossevelt) was so responsive and attentive to my problems that my problems were immediately solved with the newly provided serials and keys. She is the asset the BMT should be proud to have.
My computer crashed and I had an issue with the program taking my validation to keep the program running with Michelle’s help everything is back to normal. The emails back-and-forth were quick and helpful. Appreciate the help.
Needed to transfer Folder Lock ownership from an expiring Windows 10 computer to a newer Windows 11 computer. I tried the online help, but also asked Ms. Michelle Rossevelt of NewSoftwares staff who's helped me a couple times before in the last 3 years in this type of transaction on other computers. And she came through again. I appreciate her quick response that resolved the issue quickly.
I have been using Folderlock for years. It hides folders you don't want people seeing and secures your confidential files completely. You can't even tell the program is on your computer unless you activate it with a keystroke combination only you know. Highly recommendedI recently got a new laptop and wanted to install Folderlock with the.serial from the now discarded device. Folderlock's support staff helped me do this with friendly efficient and prompt service that addressed my needs. Very impressed with this company
Concerning their Folder Lock software. There is an annoying bug where your pinned quick folders in Windows Explorer all get wiped out if you use the protect Folders functionality. Locking/unlocking a file or folder will effectively reset your Windows Explorer settings. I begged for help, and their only response was they can't help me unless I send them a video showing them the issue. I told them I really didn't want to record a video because it would break all my quick pinned favorites again. I tried describing in great detail the issue, but they just ignored me and only want to see a video. I worked in software tech support for a decade, I never once requested to see a video, because I actually had to learn how to use the software. As a tech support person, I offered solutions, I offered workarounds, or at least asked for more details. There was ways to get logs, VMs to repeat the problem, or connect to their computer, a 1000 ways to be helpful, they didn't do any of this. I know how awful it is to work in support, so i'm usually nice to these people, but they didn't even put any effort in.
I have always found customer service prompt and helpful. I also like their software.
I recently had a technical issue. Even though I was a free trial user, the support person helped me out properly. Very good customer support and the software is useful as well. Highly recommended.
