Run far away from this horrible company

We were happy customers with ManyPets for years, but they got bought out by Odie and it has been a terrible experience from day 1. When our plan was taken over by Odie, we were told we would be grandfathered in for claims made under ManyPets so that claims going forward that were covered by ManyPets would not be considered pre-existing conditions. What a joke. I would give Odie 0 stars if I could. They have dragged our first 2 claims for emergency visits for an injury incurred in December 2026 out for months (it is now March with no resolution), asking for documentation I have already submitted multiple times. I have left 3 voicemails and multiple emails and the only response was an autoreply telling me they can't process our claims without records from BEFORE WE ADOPTED THE DOG in 2021. Their auto-reply emails say they return calls within 2-4 business days and emails within 5 business days. This is a total lie. They have no problem taking our premiums every month, but can't process our claims in a timely manner.

Hate this insurance

Hate this insurance. ManyPets sold to this company and they are unresponsive. I've called 5 times, emailed even more, and I have never received a response! SO disappointed that Many Pets sold out to this shitty company.

Do not use this company

We had nationwide pet insurance on our last dog. No issues very timely claims paid. When we got our new dog I shopped and went with many pets and they were easy to work with paid claims timely no issues. Now odie has merged with many pets so the it's been horrible. Made a claim for a normal well visit with shots and the heartworm test and heartworm medication. Sent in the claim and got crickets no response. So called and spoke with someone they are now requesting all the vet info from before we adopted her. We found the records from where we adopted her from the rescue when she was 7mos old. Still no action on the claim so called again they said they needed more information from the rescue and they would call them. We asked to speak to a supervisor on 2 separate calls was told they were not available and would call us back and never did. We have filed a complaint with the attorney general. Do not get insurance with this company!!!

Would give zero stars if possible

Would give zero stars if possible! We have been trying to get a claim processed since December, with no response. We now have a second claim as well and have no confidence that that will be processed either. Planning to take this to small claims court.

SHAME ON ODIE!!

SHAME ON ODIE!!! This is the most DELIBERATELY UNRESPONSIVE, DISMISSIVE, UNTRUSTWORTHY, UNCARING, and then and then company I have EVER dealt with. I was a long time, well pleased customer of ManyPets then they were bought out by Odie. ODIOUS ODIE has many CAPTIVE CUSTOMERS because obviously if we switch we will have major precondition issues. I believe a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT is very much in order!!! What Odie is doing is HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! I am an ordained minister, and I've seen a lot, but I am utterly shocked with their LACK OF ETHICS. They are asking for a date of this experience, and its one of their many BUILT IN TRICKERIES!!! SHEESH!!! Its from the time they took over until now!!! I pray that a reputable company will take over Odie soon and very soon!!! SHAME ON ODIE!!! SHAME SHAME SHAME!!! SHAME ON ODIOUIS ODIE!!!

Awful

Do not recommend, they are telling me my dogs condition was pre existing when there is NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER that it was pre existing and I got her as a puppy without any issues.

Odie bought my ManyPets insurance Oct…

Odie bought my ManyPets insurance Oct 15,2025. Worse experience since. Raised rates considerable (from $31 to 43.26 with worse service. Their website always has a banner across top that says its not working or having problems. They never fix it. Trying to add claims. Won't allow it even if I follow all their stupid rules. Trying to add monthly prescribed medication bill-wont let you unless you keep adding a Dr Note why it drug needed. I already uploaded vet notes & bill with the reason on it, but they want it again & again. Should not have to keep paying Vet to get proof need a prescribed drug. RUN AWAY ASAP if you can. If it wasn't for pre-existing I would run too.

I would give ZERO stars if I could...

I would give ZERO stars if I could. This is the WORST company ever! Only time I was able to get in touch with them was when I told them I was finally getting my lawyer involved! I put in a claim in November...it's now February and they are STILL giving me the run around! They kept me on hold for over TWO & A HALF HOURS (I have a screenshot to prove it) and they still didn't answer...I had to hang up! It was like going in circles with them...they needed medical records, I uploaded them, they then said they needed medical records from a date my cat wasn't even born!! They then said I needed more records, I told them I spoke to my vet and those were the complete medical records! They had no problem taking my payment out for two cats during this time! I am currently on hold with them again right now as I write this.

Zero Stars

I would give zero stars if I could. Got transitioned to this worst insurance company from ManyPets. No one answers the phone, no response to emails. They keep asking for documentation when you file a claim, submitted one in Nov, until now no response, they keep sending the same email message stating they are swamped and so the delay, but nothing happens. I did not choose this as a former ManyPets customer. Honestly I’ve called 100+ times leaving my info and haven’t gotten one call back. This is absolutely a scam.

No claim progress or update - lost my cat due to spine tumor

My policy was transferred to Odie from ManyPet last year. My cat Cooper was found spinal tumor, went through surgery and euthanasia in Dec 25. This is my first and only experience with Odie. I submitted my claims in Early Jan. I have sent multiple follow-ups but have received no response or status update. I am posting here to request contact and confirmation of my claim status.

Poor communication

I was a customer transitioned from ManyPets in December. Communication with Odie has been absolutely horrible, with no acknowledgement of emails or documents received regarding appeals or claims. I have only been able to receive information when I call, and then the reps are helpful, but even an auto reply “we received your email” would be helpful. I have switched to Lemonade because I have been so completely underwhelmed by them.

They TERMINATED all 5 cats' policies for no reason!!

I wish I could give zero stars. This company has been the bane of my existence since my accounts were transferred over from Manypets. Odie argued that a 8 inch spinal lipoma was linked to my cat's dental disease. My vet had to write letters to argue otherwise. Now, as of 2/5/26, Odie has TERMINATED ALL 5 of my cat's accounts, stating "per your request". LIES LIES LIES I NEVER requested for my accounts to be terminated. My monthly bills with them are fully paid up as of the end of January, so I am current with my payment. They still need to transfer a reimbursement into my bank account and process two claims from a month ago. SCAM SCAM SCAM .... I am still waiting for an answer to a simple question that I emailed twice over a month ago. They don't answer the phone and they don't respond to emails. This company needs to go

Waiting on many claims

Currently waiting on multiple claims on one of our dogs since November for his seizure medication so frustrating coming from many pets who we had an amazing experience with. Right before they forced us over to this joke of a company; we had a $11,000 surgery on both of our other dogs knees, thank god that went on many pets, we don’t know what we would’ve done if it was on odie. Frustrated with pre existing health issues that we are stuck with odie being only option

Odie Pet Insurance is a terrible company to work with

I have never written this in a review before, but I wish I could give 0 stars. If you have a pet, do not use Odie. I was one of the ManyPets members who rolled over to Odie when they were bought out. It took 41 days for them to resolve an issue I had with submitting a claim. They needed my dogs medical records to process (records they should have already when they bought ManyPets) and when I couldn't upload them on the site and I reached out, it took 41 days to address fully and then process my claim. They also denied another claim due to it being a pre-existing condition. This was something my dog was being treated for when the rollover happened. They said that conditions that dogs were being treated for prior to the buyout would be covered. This is dishonest business practices. The customer service delays and responses are terrible and their customer portal is hard to use. Do not use this company.

worst insurance ever

We were switched over from many pets. Claims can take 3-5 month.Out renewal they raised me by $42 a month that's insane! My monthly bill was 40 and now they raised me to $82. Next year they will probably raise me to $400

Broken Promises and Outrageous Renewals

I was a previous ManyPets customer. They were phenomenal but when Odie took over the policies for both of my pets, they increased premiums by an astronomical number. Unfortunately, for conditions to be covered that arose during my ManyPets policy, there was no choice but to continue forward with them. They originally said it would take 5-10 business days to process a claim. On average, it took two months and that was only because I kept following up with customer service and they would put a ticket in to “expedite” claim processing. And if you need to get hold of customer service, you can only do so through email as they don’t pick up the phone. Half the time I would have to send the email numerous times for customer service to get back to me at all. The average response time is 2 weeks which is awful if you actually need something handled properly. Also, I barely had any claims that they had to pay and each year I was with them, my rate increased about 25%. It is crazy unaffordable. They also don’t cover the same things that were covered on the ManyPets policy, even though the statements made in their emails said coverage would continue uninterrupted and would cover the same things. If they had better coverage and better customer service, I’d have less of a problem paying their expensive premiums. However, I can’t say one good thing about Odie Pet Insurance. Do NOT choose this company. It will be more of a headache than relief if something were to go wrong with your pet.
