My engine was delivered on time from California to Detroit..it also was the correct engine and the engine is in my car now running well... they were accessable with a call back and very polite
Do not, I repeat DO NOT buy anything from this Oemtronic.com I order an engine for my 1971 Mustang from Oemtronic on July 25,2025 with a 3-mo. warranty for $1055 I called them back on July 28, to let them know that I was not going to have the engine installed for another 2-mo. They offer me an extra 3-mo. warranty for $210.00 They told me it has to be paid before shipping. I then ask when the engine would ship. They informed me it would be shipped the very next day on July 29. I called serval times on Aug. 12, no response. I emailed them on Aug. 13, telling them I have not received the engine. I received a call back from them the next day on Aug. 14, I informed them that I never received an invoice for the extended warranty. The salesperson then tells me that the engine must be installed within 2 weeks of receiving the engine for any warranty to be validated. They sold me an useless warranty for $210. They would not issue me refund. I then asked the salesperson for the Tracking #. He informed me that engine has not been tested or shipped yet so there wasn’t a tracking #. The next morning at 9:30am on Aug. 15, (PT) I call to cancel my order for miss leading information, knowing that the engine has not been tested, or shipped. They informed me that the finance department would call me in 10 min. After days of calling and emails, they finally call me back 11 days later on Aug. 26. The represents informed me that there will be a 35% restocking fee for return shipment. I then ask how you are going to charge fee for an engine that ever left your business. After which he hung the phone up in my face. On Aug. 27, 2025, they charged me an 53% restocking fee and returning 47% of my money. They even charged a restocking fee for the ex-warranty. When I told Oemtronic that I was going to report them. They changed their return policy overnight. The original policy stated 15-20 restocking and shipping fee to 30%, which either one does not pertain to me. I was able to screenshot and timestamp their website for proof.
I rarely write reviews. But with the professionalism and concern with my purchase that was made six months ago says a lot with this company. I purchased an engine a few months ago with no issues with it. And what made it more comforting is I received a phone call from Mr. Frank checking on my purchase. He (Mr.Frank) was checking to see if I was satisfied with my engine says a lot about how they're concerned with customer satisfaction. Thanks again Mr. Frank.
I was looking an engine for my 1980 chevy 350,after checking with different yards for 5-6 days i got connected to ryan from oemtronic , he found me the part in 2 days got it shipped to me same week.
they made using a credit card impossible, they constantly attempted us to pay via money transfer on zelle. They also constantly harassed us calling ME the scammer saying my credit card was coming up as stolen! Rude as hell absolutely no customer service here! My name is Tommy Davis 2398785257. save your $ and dont buy from these rude pieces of crap.
