My parents love the independence this gives them. However, we just wish they would adapt the hub for two or more users. Make the flashing blue light, white or yellow for the second user. It becomes very expensive if you need two hubs. DJ
This is my mother's message to me today, "This Pill Drill is wonderful. It's easy to do and it's loud enough that you can hear it across the apartment. Thank you so much for getting it for me." My comment for improvement would be that when you order, you should be given a choice of how many rows you want. We needed an extra set for 4xday but in my haste of ordering, I didn't think of that. I ordered another set a week later but I would imagine most older folks are taking 3 or 4x a day so making this an automatic part of the first order process would be helpful to lots of us. My mother has Parkinsons and sometimes words are hard for her. She esp. likes the "how are you feeling" cube. She can let us know without having to pick up the phone. Thanks for a great product that has truly brought peace of mind to this part of our mother's care.
Great for peace of mind but, needs more controls in order to be effective enough to provide independence.

Pill Drill is fabulous! It makes it possible for my friend to live an independent life; all I have to do is refill her PillDrill once a week. Even with dementia, she is taking her pills twice a day on her own, and I am notified when she does so that I don't worry that she might have missed important meds for her heart function. We are both grateful to the PillDrill system for her good quality of life.
Very good product! Only criticism is if you have a med that you take every three days you have to reprogram each time you take it. Not automatic

Using the PillDrill has given my daughter independence and it helps me, as her parent who lives separately from her, know that she is taking her meds on time as prescribed. If she misses a dose, I know it and can contact her to see why.

With so many medications to take, I was beginning to feel overwhelmed and forget if and when I had taken something. Pilldrill takes the guesswork out of my medication schedule and assists my doctor in my medical history as it pertains to how I feel symptomatically.
I've been really happy with PillDrill. My wife makes sure it's filled in each week and then I just take the pills at the beep. I like that we can get text messages to notify me and my wife if I get behind, and the app works well when we're on vacation if I don't want to take the whole unit with me. More than that, it's had a great effect on my mental health, enabling me to thrive at work.Befor PillDrill I was looking for a service to literally call me every day to make sure I got my medicine, but it wasn't practical or cost effective. This is a great solution and I recommend it to anyone who needs that extra help.
My mother is 87 and has Parkinson's and is mostly housebound; she requires meds every 3 hours. PillDrill works great for her. I bought 6 strips and every week I refill them for her. The alarm is loud enough that she rarely misses a dose. While it is true that the Pill Strips are not very stable for traveling, I solved this problem by taping them together on the bottom. If we're traveling for a few hours, then she simply takes the individual Pill Pods with her and I set alarms on my phone to remind me to give her her pills. Set-up was easy - I had no issues connecting the hub to my internet, and tech support was very responsive troubleshooting a timezone issue when we moved. I've tried other systems, including ones that you have to subscribe to, but have found the PillDrill system to work best for her situation.
This system enables me to check in on my dad to verify that he is taking his meds, as well as for him to let me know how he is feeling. Great System!!!
Be sure to understand the system and that if the schedule calls for up to 4 times a day, you need to buy the two extra rows. Note that labels furnished are only A-L. If you need M-Z is cost extra, plus shipping, and 3-5 business days. The banner says, “we are here for you 24x7” but they only receive email and take message if you are cleaver enough to find their number. The product is more convenient than most, but needs a redesign of how the rows fit together; will duct tape mine to make so.

We were trying to use 4 trays connected to each other for pill taking 4 times a day but the whole thing was so big, clumsy and awkward especially using the band to secure it.
Outstanding product, smart design, highly useable and informative, great for managing pill consumption of elderly parents. Incredibly impressed with the performance of the device and ease of use of the application. I love the dashboard reporting that tracks compliance! I highly recommend this product - buy it! It works! Thank you for such a thoughtfully built solution!
