Absolutely vile service...I placed an order with this company and didn't receive anything until I sent them an email saying its been over a month not receiving it. After two days I was sent my ponytail extension piece which looked like a completely different colour to what I ordered. I asked if I could return this and how and since then I have been Ignored after multiple emails sent! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS COMPANY LADIES AND GENTS. ITS A SCAM.
Didn’t want to give any stars !Placed an order in October 24. Still waiting . Had a phone call from an unknown number from the so called owner on Boxing Day. She expressed her sincere apologies ‘ and said that the order was on its way and couldn’t understand the delay.I begged to differ telling her that the order had not even reached the depot yet alone left her shop when tracked ,and the status was still waiting for the parcel from sender and only the order number had been received . She blatantly lied , and tried to butter me up , promising freebies to the value of £100 which will be ‘personally selected by her ‘, and should be with me in a few days !!! I’M STILL WAITING! No order and no free gifts . This woman clearly is a liar , a scammer who still takes monies for orders but fails to supply the goods. The company has liquidated , and do hope the owners will be exposed for theft and fraud .
I made a purchase in August 2024 and I have not received my order. The contact number has been switched off hence you cannot reach them. I requested for an update via email, however there has been no response to date. Now taking legal action
I ordered a wig on the 20th March 2024 to date I have not received my wig when I chased my order at the end of April I received a rude response telling me that 28 days had not lapsed and I should wait to receive my wig Now I am emailing no response I informed this retailer I would reporting them to trading standard still no response
I am really excited to wear my first wig from REAL HAIR LONDON! I received the best customer service 100% I can't wait.
It’s very disappointing and disheartening to see all of these reviews below. I’ve shopped with Real Hair London countless times in the past and every single order I have received has been immaculate!It looks like a bunch of hatters if you ask me. Please don’t be fooled and do your own research first. The owner of the company is a very lovely lady and creates masterpieces to definitely be jealous of so I’m not surprised. Check their social media sites especially their Instagram is really good for updates and don’t let others deter you from having good things in your life.

Do not buy from this company she is a fraudsters, she scammed me of my hard earned money of 707£, she did not deliver the wig after months of chasing her she blocked me, I have lost my money if only I knew I should have followed my guts feeling.She is rude and have no customer services
This was such a disappointing experience that echoed most of the comments on this site. I wish I read them first. 1) limited options to pay. I was forced to open a Klarna account that should have been the first red flag2) the product took forever to arrive.3) the product was of very poor quality not at all as advertised. It looked used, had no instructions and was unsealed. Note that she charged £12 to deliver it. It looked like a cheap machine produced synthetic wig. Who sends a wig without a hygienic seal (COVID)or care instructions?4) refused to respond to extremely polite requests to return the product to her fake address in London. After unanswered emails contacted her on Instagram. Was promptly blocked. Unresponsive.5) reported her to all Klarna. That was another ordeal. That Klarna is a soulless service. Payment was paused and eventually resolved months after reporting.This woman is a scam. I feel sad because I desperately wanted to support her business as she is a black entrepreneur.Her website and trading practices is not in compliance with the law. Thankfully Klarna has stopped doing business with her. Do not transfer money to her!
This is absolutely disgusting 🤢 I can’t believe I got scammed I looked at her Instagram and saw all of those beautiful wigs and I thought I need one as she has her own website that looks really professional and after I haven’t received my order I looked at those reviews and I was shocked!! My husband is an IT tech and found something about this lady and where she lives ! Birmingham! 😂 why lying about your living miss April I know your postcode and have reported your “company” to the council and investigation and enforcement services hopefully they will shut it down soon as possible !!! Leech !!
Real Hair London indeed is a scam, I’ve had the worst experience of my life in all my years of purchasing hair & units. It’s been 5 months now & still no wig, I have been given every fairytale story in the book from April. She is rude, obnoxious & a pathological liar.. I was even given a fake Royal Mail tracking order number. Real Hair London is a disgrace to UK Black Owned Businesses. She is a professional fraudster, this non entity has caused me so much stress, as I’ve had to constantly chase her for 5mths, it was so frustrating. She has been robbing & stealing from hundreds of unsuspecting customers (victims) & thousands£££ through Klarna. (Money laundering) The vast majority of customers did not receive their unit & some customers received a cheap quality hair that could be bought for £50 on Amazon. Please do not buy from this company, youwill be gravely disappointed. I have lost £980 on 2 wigs I purchased from her by using direct bank transfer without using the Klarna repayment service. If only I had seen these reviews & others before I went full steam ahead! Her online shop & insta seemed trustworthy & professional.. BEWARE of this low vibrational energy vampire!! Just an update, I reported April & Fake Hair London to my Bank & Action Fraud a search was done on her so called company. I was informed that no such company exists inside the building in Covent Garden where she claims her premises & office are. I will also proceed to contact Birmingham Police & Council to report her, she needs to be shutdown! Nicola
Don't buy from this thief I ordered 4 months ago and have nothing I'm now trying to get my money back through klama she shouldnt be allowed to get away with this its disgusting
I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. A complete SCAM- fraudulent woman ! She is rude and ignorant. I can not believe she can get away with this . I paid via Klarna so got my money back after 28 days however the hassle of trying to do all of this was a joke . Do not buy from her ….
This business owner is a scam artist, through and through. DO NOT PURCHASE! She is rude when you contact her and has no intention of sending any products. Reviews on her site are fake too. Klarna has just agreed to refund me. I would say I don’t know how she sleeps at night, but I reckon she sleeps very well, dreaming about all the money she’s scammed from hardworking people.
I can't believe after reading these reviews that Miss Witch did it again. She literally told me if i pay by debit card it would be dispatched quicker and after 1 month she did not send it. We should all get together and pay her visit . She needs to be stopped. Please everyone notify your bank about these who will notify her bank. The more complaints she receives from her bank we are more likely to receive the money back and actually her account to be closed.
Purchase a £375 wig for a event contact them about the wig after a whole month of waiting they said they will deliver it and it will arrive 2 weeks. No dispatch email no confirmation on what couriers is going deliver my item so from June 14 till now I haven’t received anything. I have tried emailing and calling no answer I might have to take them to court for consumer right act. Don’t trust the website…. And don’t be fooled by the review that’s on her website. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A WIG FROM HER AGAIN.
I wouldn’t even give this business one star.I ordered a human hair wig over 5/6 weeks ago for my terminally ill mum. She lost her hair quickly and we were desperate to get her hair back in a wig form! There was option for faster delivery (so I thought)After having no order confirmation and then researching the company I become worried. I contacted the business on many social media platforms including email. After several days I was advised that the wigs are hand made and that it would be despatched shortly. I explained my desperation to the lady and she was rude and unprofessional from the first time we communicated.I then received an email detailing the wig had been despatched and to wait two weeks.. I allowed nearly three weeks at this stage and tried contacting the business owner again. I remained polite and calm even though I was extremely frustrated. To my horror, I received the most DISGUSTING messages.I have never ever experienced such vile comments from anyone let alone a business owner.The business owner taunted the fact that she would no longer be sending myOrder and that she hasn’t despatched it. She then laughed and mocked the fact my mother would now be “bold”She also told me to “go plan her funeral” and the reason my mother had cancer was because she had me as a daughter.I was in absolute shock and disgust, how could another human being say such awful things.I hope that no other poor person has to go through this horror.I believe the company is fraudulent and that she had no intention of ever sending the wig. I feel as though she is praying upon vulnerable people which is not acceptable. My god I wish I had read all these reviews before handing over my money
I ordered my unit on 7th July 2021. They were offering a deal and I had been looking at the store online for some time. They looked to have decent wigs and use good hair and being Black owned and UK based was a plus for me. I decided to take advantage of the offer, bite the billet and order the London Wig. 13x6 frontal 200% density. I opted to pay via Klarna in 3 instalments. I also gave them a tip. I had expected the wig to be shipped that week but received nothing other than confirmation that the order had been placed. I also opted to track the wig via the Shop app.Two weeks later- no wig. I emailed as suggested by the website- no response. A week later another email- no response. I had been hesitant to contact via social media because I know this can be damaging. However, three weeks later I had no choice. Posted on a few of her posts about my order and DM’d. She deleted the posts and then emailed an auto response saying the wig would be shipped in two weeks! Then she responded to my DM saying she’d sent an email. I left it at that. Two weeks later nothing. Email sent. Nothing back. Back to Instagram. She deleted my comments again and responded to the DM. The wig was finally shipped and I had to go pick up from the post office as I was on holiday (what I wanted the wig for in the first place) when the postman came on 18th August. I was patient. The wig is not 200% density. It is not 22 inches long. There is about one bundle at the back that is 22 inches- the rest is 20/16 inches. The knots are over bleached and look like they are ginger which is bad for a jet black wig. I’m so disappointed. I want to support Black owned businesses but found this one severely lacking in customer service and quality products. Needless to say. I won’t be purchasing from here again.
WARNING!!!!! Do not buy from this company it’s a scam. Unfortunately I am seeing all these reviews after spending a lot of money. The owner April is very abuse towards her clients and I didn’t find Klarna helpful either. I received cheap hair nothing like as advertised.Please don’t be fooled by the pictures on their website.Don’t be stupid like me. I feel scammed.
Avoid this company, I purchased a wig £265 through Klarna. April who runs realhairlondondon company is a pure scam artist. I ordered my wig June 6th 2021 and still not arrived.i talked to April and she assured me all was ok and was being sent out in a couple of days and give it 2 weeks to be delivered, what a lie that was. I contacted Klarna who investigated my case and paused payments , and now refunding what I have paid,they have been really good. The stress this company has caused me is beyond belief , I suffer from alopecia badly and this wig was not for fashion so to treat customers as she has done for medical or fashion reasons is disgraceful , never buy from them, complete scam.
