Author Interview
As a new author, I went into working with Seven Chapter Literary knowing they were a "vanity" magazine network. Working with Ivy was a bit challenging at times. She was great getting me ready for my interview with Logan Crawford, but the hard sell for the book fairs and the numerous phone calls were unneeded and unwelcome. The fee of $900, to cover costs, I believe, was just a euphemism for a service fee.I will not be paying for promotion going forward.

Misleading and Unethical Business Practices
I was contacted by Mr. Hugh with Seven Chapter Literary; providing his title as: Senior Segment Producer, with an offer to feature my book in a radio interview. The initial communication sounded like a genuine promotional opportunity, but after a phone call, to what I thought was to schedule the interview; they demanded $1500. upfront to "cover costs" for their network of stations and podcasts. This fee was never disclosed beforehand, which I consider deceptive and unethical. Authors, and creators deserve transparency and respect, not hidden charges and bait-and-switch tactics. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and consumer protection agencies, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with this company.

My name is Will Roberts Jr. and I've been working with Ivy Summers of Seven Chapter now for about 5 months. We have reprinted my book and gotten it uploaded onto Amazon for sale in that time frame.
