The staff there was very slow
The staff there was very slow, they were chit chatting it up with another customer and not using their time wisely. I was in the middle of getting my oil done and the guy checking me out took his phone call with his buddy and not help me out, and the man changing my oil was looking at my boobs and looking at me like i was stupid when i told him i needed help and i needed advice on my car. The guy changing my oil had problems with my boyfriend who tried helping me but knew we needed a pro am he kept talking and always had sum to say about him and how he’s unsuccessful, he was also not very good at communicating with me telling me what to do. As i was pulling out both of the workers said stuff about me and my car and my boyfriend. My opinion on them is i will never go back i will take my business some where else.

five months ago
five months ago, went to the location on Cortez in west Bradenton fl; across from Walmart. almost 100 for an oil change. fast forward and need another oil change. they couldn't get the oil filter off. two shops told me it was over torqued; they were afraid of damaging the part that sends the oil into the filter. cost $$$ to get it fixed.

The 200 Rock Road location is horrible
The 200 Rock Road location is horrible. I didn't even get my oil changed. I pulled up and the kid had me pull behind a Jeep and wait. No problem. I did but then he had me move to another lane while he unloaded that car's trunk. Then eventually he had me pull in and then no one talked to me while 3 guys stood around for an hour. I had to get out close my hood and leave. No one tried actually change my oil for an hour. These guys are lazy and have no customer service skills. I was super nice and polite. Don't give these guys your money. They also wanted $130 for an oil change

I would give 0 if I could
I would give 0 if I could. They get NO stars from me! I went to Take 5 to get an oil change on a brand new 2025 Kia Sorento. I just found out that they put the wrong oil in my vehicle. And likely why it has been stalling/hesitating slightly ever since! I got the vehicle brand new in 2025 and it was not doing any hesitating before I went to Take 5. I spoke to the manager Brian at the location on Powers Ferry Rd in Marietta, GA. He refused to refund me. He says it’s out of warranty but I had no idea I couldn’t trust them or had a reason to complain. I thought they were competent and doing the correct job I paid them for. Even after I told him that the Kia dealership said my vehicle is NOT to have W30 only W20 because using the wrong oil could mess my vehicle up. And it’s a European oil as well, that was not supposed to be put in. I want my money back. They risked the health of my vehicle despite my oil cap saying W20 on it. And now I see several BBB complaints that are about many things they do wrong including putting the WRONG OIL! DO NOT TRUST TAKE 5 for your oil changes. Many of the “positive” reviews are fake or family/friends of the employees or customers who didn’t know they should verify if it was the correct oil or not.

The business is a very nice concept
The business is a very nice concept, if it could be run properly and most importantly, honestly with the proper management, but it's not. I've been going to the Take 5 location on Scenic Hwy in Lawrenceville, GA for about four years. My last service in January 2025' was different. Drove off the facility, 5 minutes later my check engine light came on. And I realized how the name; Take 5 came about. Shut off my motor, no oil leaks, no loose connectors under the hood, drove back to Take 5, they directed me to the garage they send everyone who has a problem after leaving their shop. I was driving it with the light on. Been to couple shops, had it analyzed, I have a Right bank air fuel ratio, and O2 sensor problem now. But how? No problem before the oil change, but now I do. I wanted to change my oil myself, but I can't break loose the drain plug with 60 ft lbs of torque, it causes the oil pan to bend and ripple around the plug area, as it has been from previous oil changes. The invoice states the drain plug gasket was replaced, but I can guarantee you it wasn't; that's why the plug was overtightened, thus damaging the oil pan. I was telling our freinds about it, and the exact same thing happened to them from the Lilburn, GA Take 5 branch. They spent $2,600.00 drove home and the check engine light came back on the following day. The shop advised them that it's gonna be too expensive to repair it, so they donated it, and purchased another vehicle; all as a result of going to Take 5. I will never go back to them, or any of the other quick oil change shops. What's ironic is that they really aren't any less expensive than the dealers and real repair shops. Now I'm awaiting for a confrontation with their customer service management for retribution.

Excellent service
Lulu and Dakota at the 11211 N Dale Mabry, Carrollwood, FL location are an example of whar excellent service looks like. Thorough, fast, and friendly I will bring all my vehicles to them.

I have been using take five for a while I usually stop at the one on 31 in the loop in Tyler TX I went by today in between all changes to get them to check my oil tires etcetera there was three people working there was one other vehicle in there that they were already in the middle of working on I sat there over 25 minutes in the stall And they A lot of times two of them were standing around the toolbox in the other stall talking The guy in the pick up next to me that they were working on seemed as irritated as I was It's a shame because it's handy But I will never go back again

My sister and I
My sister and I went, and later, when we got home, we were going over the price of everything. We were charged for unnecessary things that didn’t need fixing when all we needed was an oil change. They kept adding things and telling us we needed to fix other things, just adding up the price more and more. When we reviewed everything, we were told that we were ripped off because they saw 2 teenage girls. The total price was ridiculous. We went to the Rome ga location near shorter university.

Had never used Take 5 oil change
Had never used Take 5 oil change. Went to the location in Irondale Alabama. Upon arrival I sat in lane for 20 minutes before anyone came out. Was then asked to change lanes and enter stall. Employee popped hood. Sat for 20 minutes while all employees were attending to other vehicle…… I opened my door and closed my hood, checked to make sure I could leave safely. I WILL NEVER WASTE MY TIME WITH YOUR COMPANY. IF AWFUL SERVICE IS ALL YOU HAVE TO OFFER THEN YOU SHOULD CLOSE THIS LOCATION.

DON"T LET TAKE 5, TAKE $500
This place is horrible at customer service, and their technicians have knowing damaged vehicles including my car. When I reached out, they refused to cover any repairs, even though they admit the last technician that worked on my car was terminated for poor workmanship. Unfortunately, I have to cover the cost of their incompetence. Broken Mounts on Splash/ and a stripped drain plug. Not to mention, no service sticker. I could go on. But in the meantime, I will save it until I cost this place enough customers.

DONT GO HERE
Had my oil changed here on July 19th. The guy who did it stripped my drain plug and never said anything. I only found out when I took it back for another oil change. Called customer service the said 4-7 business days I’d get a call and a email. It’s been over two weeks with no call or email. Every time I call they escalate but it does nothing. If they don’t call me back soon I WILL stand outside their business and make sure that everyone knows they’ll screw up your car and do everything they can to ignore you. Fck these people

I brought my son's truck in for an oil…
I brought my son's truck in for an oil change... Less than a 1000 miles later. Oil pressure light came on. There was smoke under the hood. I pulled all of her and there was Harley, any oil in the truck. It's a brand new 30. Some $1000 truck only had 8 miles on it. When I had the oil change done I put a quart of oil in it drove it right to take 5. I was told the oil filter filter wasn't tightened back on ... I are so recorded the conversation... Reluctantly, I pulled my truck back in. He looked at it for less than 10 minutes topped off the oil tightened oil filter back up. I filed acclaimed the corporate office. You can only speak to customer service and they send messages to over supposed to call you back first time. I call they told me they would call me back. And say it within seven business days, 8-9 phone calls later.I was still trying to get someone to call me back.I had a claim number but they wouldn't give me an insurance company's name gave me an 888 number. That's always busy... Finally, I made a claim with my insurance. They somehow got a hold of who they needed to speak to supposedly the guy manager that I met when I brought the car back in... He stated it attracted my truck out when I brought it back in... I asked my insurance adjuster for the documentation of such because I was only there for less than 10 minutes. The car was only in the shop. They don't have any documentation and did not provide any to my insurance company. Now I have to pay for dealer to check to see if there was any damage done to the truck, he states that it's gonna take an hour and a 1 at the very least. So I'm not understanding how in 10 minutes. My truck was checked out the US available for damage.... Still cannot get ahold of anybody at take 5 other than customer service. Who says a forward? The message? Also has told by my insurance company.I have to cover it if there's no damage. I will be calling the better business bureau and an attorney...

Pricing for service was not clear at all. Sticker on service cabinet says one price and when finishing the service the bill was presented at almost $40 higher. Beware. I will not be going back.

DO NOT GO HERE
DO NOT GO HERE – CAUSED $2,500 IN DAMAGE I took my car to Take 5 Oil Change on November 25th, and within two miles of leaving, my car started leaking oil and radiator fluid. This visit caused approximately $2,500 in damage, completely ruined our Thanksgiving, and left oil all over my garage floor. This wasn’t a minor mistake — this was gross negligence. Something was clearly not tightened or reassembled correctly, and the employees had absolutely no idea what they were doing. The level of training (or lack of it) was alarming.I immediately contacted the location and spoke with the so-called manager, Kevin, who told me a claim had been filed and that I would hear back in 3–5 business days. It is now January 5th, well over a month later, and I have heard NOTHING. No follow-up. No accountability. No resolution. This company has shown zero urgency or responsibility for the damage they caused. If you value your vehicle, your time, or your money, stay far away from Take 5. A quick oil change is not worth thousands of dollars in repairs and weeks of being ignored.I will never return and will make sure others know exactly what happened.

Never again
Never again! The Take 5 off Palm coast parkway is horrible. they call it a 10 minute oil change but I waited an hour just to get into a bay and wait some more. Manager Matt is a BULLY with no respect for customers. Gaslites customers instead of acknowledging they did not provide the "quick service" advertised. They also had the audacity to let cars which I'm guessing are friends or family cut in front of others (they did it to the woman in front of me and then tried to let a guy in a auto service truck cut in front of me but I stopped them). $105 for the mid level oil change is way too overpriced especially for the horrible service, bully employees and trapping customers in a line they have no way to get out of so they are forced to wait an hour or more. Seriously you can get better service at Walmart and at least shop while you wait. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere or call a mobile mechanic cause they cost about the same and you won't have the long wait sitting in your car and the men trying to gaslight and bully you. I'm not even sure if they truly changed my oil given the childish way they responded to me and the bullying nature of the so called manager. I just hope now that they didn't do something to ruin my car after reading the feedback of what they have done to other peoples cars. They also demand your phone number and full name for their "records" even though they scanned my VIN and refused me service if I wouldn't provide it. Why do they need my personal info for a simple oil change??? yeah so they can harasss you to come back and sell your information is my guess but to refuse service is just over the top bullying on a corporate scale. The fact that this company purposely set all their locations up to trap customers and force them to wait....well that should be illegal and I hope someone decides to bring a class action law suit for it one day. Mind blowing what companies are allowed to get away with these days!!! WTH????

We went to take 5 in Valparaiso Indiana for an oil change. They brought us in after 20 minutes, no big deal. Once inside we sat in our truck for an hour and 20 minutes before they spoke to us or started our oil change. We will never return again!
