I appreciated the upfront pricing
I appreciated the upfront pricing. I got tricked by another tax prep service to buy the more expensive package when all I needed was the basic package. TaxSlayer was easy to use and took care of filing my taxes.

Absolutely amazing service
Absolutely amazing service. Used Turbo Tax for a long time, but gave this a try, never using anything else. Had one question and they went above and beyond in reaching out to make sure it was answered. Very impressed, just give them a try.

No response to RMD Question
The phone support I received was ok but I do not believe the representatives were up to speed. I submitted an email tax question on February 12, 2026 regarding an RMD. To this date I have not received a response. I filed my return on February 14, 2026. I hope if I need help, which I paid for, should the IRS have concerns I am a bit nervous about the help I will get from Taxslayer. Regards, Ralph

I feel misled by the 'upfront' pricing…
I feel misled by the 'upfront' pricing of $29 ...but then I was charged $45-$50 to complete the process with the state filing. Really a terrible way to build trust with your customer. Never again. I switched from TurboTax after 10+ years but never again with Taxslayer. Very dishonest in my view. Product itself was also not as clear, direct or easy to navigate.

Tax Slayer downloaded all of my info…
Tax Slayer downloaded all of my info from employment, brokerage accounts, pension, etc and save me so much time from filling in myself! It took maybe 30 minutes to complete, sent it to IRS and it was accepted. A great experience vs the usual frustrating one. Very pleased.

Will not ever use them again i had to pay same amount as hr block but with hr block u get ur money in three days ur tax return is in ur bank account fast with tax slayer ur wait is about a-month dont use this company total scam

Easy access to nearly all of the forms that I need.Also, appreciate how all of last year's data carries forward to the new year.However, do not like how I have to get a secret password twice when I log in. And checking the block that says it's not required within 7 days, doesn't work.
