I approached Tax Group Center with a manageable tax debt under $3,000 and a few unfiled returns. They sold me a story about quick resolutions and stress-free relief, promising that my financial issues would soon be behind me. However, over five years later, my tax debt has skyrocketed to $15,000, while I’ve paid them more than $20,000 with nothing resolved. Their tactics felt more like a scam than a service – they avoided transparency, dodged my questions, and kept asking for more money while my debt increased. Now, I’m left with mounting tax debt and a loan to pay off their fees, trapped without the resources to seek real help. This has been a criminally deceptive experience, leaving me financially devastated.
