We were stopped during a ticket…
We were stopped during a ticket inspection while transferring from line E to B, even though we had a VALID ticket, only of the wrong type. The metro EMPLOYEE GAVE US the contacts of "Transilien SNCF" and confirmed that this was the "FIRST MISTAKE " for which the money should be refunded and also because of these following reasons:* We had a VALID ticket, this mistake was not ours, but the system’s and the employee’s.* During the inspection, the employee clearly confirmed that this was the “FIRST MISTAKE”, for which the fare must be refunded.* The system is unclear and misleading, especially for students, who receive NO DISCOUNTS , while the “low fare” applies only to children and train ticket prices in Paris are too high for students, while kids’ tickets are bought BY PARENTS anyway, making the push for ECO- FRIENDLY travel less meaningful. * During the inspection, the EMPLOYEE GAVE US to contact via WhatsApp, but when we did, Transilien representatives (Jorah, Lea, Rhea, Sacha) behaved unprofessionally and rudely, conversations were cut off, and the fare was not refunded. These actions violate:* Code de la consommation, L111-1 – obliging the provision of clear and understandable information to the consumer;* Code des transports, L2231-1 et seq. – which establishes the right to a refund in the event of a transport company error. We sure there is even more Codes but these are perfect examples.
