If this was my camp, the utter failure would haunt me for the rest of my life. Must be a Putin plant sent to ruin baseball in the US.

54 kids 3 coaches. Baseball teams are typically 12 kids and two coaches. So this is less coaching than a baseball team. Teams under the three coaches were not organized by age or skill level so it was just completely useless. To top it off they played wiffle ball with the short, thick “my first baseball bat” style bats for 4 year olds for about 60% of the time. I sent my 14 year old here to prepare him for his travel ball tryouts next week. Complete waste of time and money. I can’t imagine the shame I would feel if this was my camp, but I have a feeling US Baseball does not care in the slightest.

Bad communication and bad customer…

Bad communication and bad customer service. They will do anything they can to make sure its not their fault for cancelling a camp. They did refund my money after multiple email and attempts as gaslighting me. Do not do business with these folks.

Run far far away!!

No matter if you are a player or coach I would run the opposite direction from this company. From the start it seemed great sign up was easy everything was smooth. Just run the camp they provide everything else. The first thing that made me think twice was when the number of staff to campers made no sense. You need way more staff than they say or else the campers suffer. It is pretty much like running two age group camps at the same time. Then the week of the camp got thrown off because day 2 had to be cancelled due to rain and storms all day long. Joe was wanting to find another date to move the make up date to which is understandable. But our field and facilities were used the next week and with fall sports starting we were going to have no staff to support. Joe at one point told me I could run a camp of 44 campers age 7-14 in a parking lot for all he cares. Not sure how that would be beneficial or even possible because again you need way more staff then they suggest or else the camp would serve no benefit to the campers.Joe had told me the refund money was coming out of our pockets and he would be taking the money from us. But I stated that’s not what is in our contract. A rain out is a “act of god” and not something anyone of us could control. There wasn’t anything about make up dates or using the following week to make up a date in our contract. I tried to settle on our program getting 75% of what we were supposed to receive and that would be a fair compromise to this issue. Which left Joe telling me I am not looking at this correctly. Even though it was stated again it’s not in our contract that money would be taken from our program for rain outs. Only thing stated in the contract was our facilities and staff were ready for the days of the camp. Which they absolutely were! After the money he took from our profit it was not worth the effort or time our program had put into the camp for the week! It was almost laughable at that point. As a coach I would stay far away form this company! I can see how camps can very easily be poorly ran by their camp agenda and lack of staff support. Plus they will pay you what they feel like paying you even though the contract says otherwise! Stay away!

Do not waste your money

My son completed one of the baseball academies with this company and it was a total disappointment. My son is a 15 year old high school student and this is his first year playing baseball so we wanted to sign him up for some additional training before high school try outs. The ads and other marketing materials really pumped up your program and we were excited that it was ran by 'professionals'. Upon arriving at the first day of clinic, we quickly noticed that there were no other older kids beside my son and the other kid from his school that we referred. We also quickly realized that there were no baseball professionals, just another local high schools pe teachers and/or coaches & students from that school. When we picked him up he was discouraged and upset, stating that him and the other high school student that paid for this camp were used to help the younger kids and the entire first day was basics like how to hold a bat. I kept the email in mind about how each week is build off the previous week and encouraged him to give the next week a chance. The future weeks were a lot of the same things. Him and the other kid running thru the basic drills then being used to help all the younger kids. The final day of camp ended more than an hour early. To say that I was disappointed with this program is an understatement. This program, I'm sure, is great for younger kids that have no baseball experience but to advertise that it is a clinic to up their game is not cool. I do not think it's appropriate to allow teenagers to sign up for this clinic with the hopes of boosting his confidence and perfecting his sport only to have them stand around while younger groups are being taught how to hold a bat and help babysit those younger groups. I reached out to the company over a month ago only to be ignored and when I followed up today I was told they didn’t see my message and I didn’t ask for them to reach out to me so what do I want them to do. Very poor program with poor customer service!

Review is about Delware Christian…

Review is about Delware Christian school camp: I registered based on my previous experience at another location. My experience here was disappointing and well below of what was advertised on their site, FB and youtube channel. There were few adult coaches and bunch of high school kids helping out. 2-3 coaches were very involved but rest where there just doing what is being told…no interest in coaching the kids. Here for pitching there were 4 coaches to help 15 kids but only one coach was really giving instructions every 15-20 mins and then practice…the high school kids aka his asst coaches were just giving one min of inputs here and there.Another advice, when one person is getting the instruction, ask the kid or kids in the line waiting to mirror what is being told the coach or what the pitcher is doing. Disappointed by the DCC’s execution of the camp. Spending 150$ plus for 4 weeks x 1.5 hrs of this crap coaching, I could’ve hired private coach for 4 half hour sessions in any acedemy. That will make great differences. Those private coaches will evaluate your kids skills and then train, here its like these are the basics let start and do these grip, pitch basics and so on. My kid had fun but end of the day I’m disappointed because what I saw in other camp vs what I saw here. As a parent, we should be there to catch not to be an asst coach. I hurt my hip… Rather than using parents as asst coaches and catchers, they must have each of their asst coach take 2-3 kids and get 20-30 balls per kid and let them train. Camp was NOT a big difference maker…I hope each branch posts its own clear details on the camp and lists out the coaches and NOT ask parents to be an asst coach.

The dude name kale ( black guy) to be specific, very rude doesn’t know how to deal with customers and charge my credit card without any authorization. This guy should be fired. This location is the one off Roswell rd in Marietta.

Run from these crooks

I strongly advise against doing business with this company. Unfortunately, our experience was very similar to what others have reported on various review sites such as Google and Yelp. The coaching was subpar and not as advertised, with high school students serving as coaches. Our attempts to address these issues were ignored. Even the coach hosting the event expressed frustration and advised parents to seek refunds. It's clear that this company is more concerned with profits than customer satisfaction.I feel compelled to mention Cody Nelson and Jeff Lee by name, as they were particularly unprofessional and disrespectful when we voiced our concerns. We will be contacting authorities such as the Attorney General's Office, the Secretary of State, the Better Business Bureau, and Trust Pilot to hold this company accountable. I hope others will also take action to prevent them from mistreating other parents and children.
