1-Star Review for Al Mizan Car Rental – Terrible Service, Avoid at All Costs
I have been renting from Al Mizan Car Rental since November 2024, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.They gave me the wrong car when I first arrived in Dubai.The replacement car has constantly broken down, especially the battery, which has died multiple times and left me stranded in the heat.On July 7 and 8, 2025, the battery died two days in a row. I sent them videos, photos, and my exact location, and they still did nothing to help me.I had to pay out of my own pocket to boost the battery and then take a taxi for to my appointment because the car wouldn’t start again.Despite all these issues, they raised my monthly rental price a few months ago without warning.They even come to my office days before the payment is due, treating me like I haven’t paid—when I’ve never missed a payment.They are unprofessional, unreliable, and have no customer support when you need help. If you’re new to Dubai and looking for a dependable rental company, stay far away from Al Mizan.

Avoid renting with this company Almizan car rental. Like everyone else here. My deposit still not refunded. I rented Nissan Sunny for 6 months and returned the car in very good condition, washed and vacuumed. The guy who I returned the car too checked the car thoroughly looking for scratches and dents so they can make more money out of me. Even the old dents his trying to charged me for it…I told him he should have a copy of their pre inspection report. He said it’s not downloading and wants to charge me, even the dirt that looks like a scratch wanting to charge me too, but when I wiped it off telling him it’s a dirt. He said no it’s a scratch. It came off and he had a smart grin on his face. Scammer!! Luckily i kept the pre inspection report and showed him.I’m still waiting for my security deposit 1500AED. Car was returned Feb 2025. Sent email multiple times, messages were not returned. Already reported them to Consumer Protection Agency and they advised that they have suspended their business. So let’s see if Almizan will start refunding our deposits. If you haven’t reported them, please do so. The more reporting the better. Let’s work together!! To put this business on notice.

No deposit back
All good until you return the car.No deposit returned - they don't answer phone or emails. I contacted Dubai Consumer Association; I've been waiting for the deposit back since November 2024 and no amount has been credited so far.Don't use this company!

Scam.Don't think to hire from Almizan Car Rental.Depoait Money will not be returned.After you return the car they will not respond.Have returned the car in Oct 22,2024. From then Im trying to reach them with no response.

PLS DONT RENT! They haven’t returned my deposit. They don’t respond. This is how these cheap b*stards make their money.. from keeping the deposit! Hence why they don’t even take credit card. I hope they suffer in this life and the next

Terrible company bunch of thieves

They dont refund deposits. I havent come across such a unprofessional company. Even after multiple follow-ups, no repsonse. I am forced to report them to the authorities.

***SCAM ALERT*** You will have difficulty getting your deposit returned.After many emails and WhatsApp messages Almizan car rentals were not communicating when our $1500 AED deposit would be retuned. Despite waiting over 60 days post the car being returned. In order to get an answer I visited the office and asked to speak with the manager. You will be told that Demac is new to the company and that they are in the process of changing their banking system and your deposit is scheduled to be in your account in 2 days. DO NOT accept this, request cash in hand with a receipt.After waiting 1 hour and being shuffled into another room where I received no communication updates. I called the Police to assist with the return of the money.I had cash in my hand within 1min of having the police on the phone, I also found 4 other people in seperate rooms also trying to get their deposits returned.DO NOT use this company unless you're happy to part with your deposit.

They are a thieving company. I wonder why the law does not deal with them. It's been 3 months since you didn't return my deposit and they don't answer. I will pursue legal action and complain to them.

Very, very unprofessional and cheap company! 👎 My sister was rented a car from them,It been 3 months since they didn’t refund us the deposit and they are not answering to whats app, calls or email, plus they are blocking the customers number. The only way is now to report them to the authorities. AVOID THEM!I will not recommend them to anyone!

they are thief companey kindly all affected from this company kindly please i open case against them . so plz do more complaint will be arrested them very very soon please as well rize your compliant to economic dept c.s center and bring your case number. meet at albarsha police station will be morning monday 17.6.2024 i will be thier inshallah for this case. i inform authority and need your support asap . together will make dubai city free and safe from such people thank you thier license was blocked already by autherity .

Very bad company to rent from. As advertised looking good but actually horrible company to rent from, customer service very poor, deposit impossible to return without legal actions and lots of wasted time on your money and mental health. Avoid totally
