Deceitful with pushy sales practices
Basically I experienced what I believe to be all of the poor and deceitful sales practices that you read about in the reviews. I sent a complete 3D rendering to them, all windows and doors shown, specifications for almost everything including building loads, dimensions, insulation requirements etc. They had what was turned out to be an inexperienced SALES person come back with a quote, and the all too familiar, “if you buy now we gave a great price …”. It was a competitive price. I asked for all of my specifications to be echoed back in the quote, and they did not respond in writing instead trying to call me and convince me why they make a better building than most of the rest. Some of that could be true. But turns out, they had not included framed openings (i.e. a building with no windows or doors) for which they would nail you for $1000 per opening later in the process, and also the now all too familiar, “we don’t supply insulation” that all other bidders had included. So when trying to compare, they were actually more expensive by many THOUSANDS, but you would have already signed a contract and paid a hefty nonrefundable down payment. Luckily, I caught them in their deceitful practice. We don’t need deceitful companies like this.

Armstrong Steel Sued Me
Atlantic Building Systems LLC d/b/a Armstrong Steel in Colorado sent me a demand letter after I had not heard from them at all since I tried to reach the CEO. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but that didn't help. All they do is forward the letter to the company and the company writes back to the BBB with a boilerplate excuse and the claim that they are always willing and ready to work with a customer.When I replied to the demand saying I had no money and was struggling financially as I had told them back when I tried to ask for the return of my just shy of $40,000 deposit, they responded by demanding I be put on a payment plan for a building that was NEVER put into production for steel they never purchased simply because their contract was written in such a way that a customer had to pay them regardless of any circumstances.They sued me and forced me into arbitration. I was unable to afford an attorney. I was unable to defend myself properly because I didn't know how.Their attorney lied in an email claiming the sales rep no longer worked at the company when in fact he was in the building. I thought the arbitrator would rule in my favor because lying usually is considered perjury and a case gets thrown out then and there.Search for all the stories done on Denver 7 and search all the negative complaints. The class action lawsuit was forced into arbitration so the public will never know the outcome.Search the comment on the YouTube videos by customers who post cries for help as they only learned about the class action after it disappeared from the news.

Overall great building and customer service
Overall the experience was great. My project manager was always there to answer questions and he was very attentive. This is my first steel building and I was able to put it up with my dad. Armstrong was great and I am happy with the quality.

My building turned out exactly as I envisioned from concept to finished product. The representatives were very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. They replaced some pieces that were damaged during shipping in a very timely manner. My building was constructed in the Summer of 2020 without any problems.

Awesome Product
My experience with Armstrong Steel was seamless. I wish working with other people was as easy as the staff at Armstrong made buying a building. We have had hurricanes and other severe storms come through here, and my Armstrong building doesn't have a scratch on it. I wish my other two buildings were from Armstrong. It's tough, it's durable, and you get what you pay for.

I was very happy with the building I purchased. I ordered it at the last minute and they did a good job of delivering it as close to the date I required it as possible. The sales process was easy to work with even with the multiple handoffs in their process. I had a third party contractor install it that had not worked with Armstrong before and they had no problems with the installation at all. I would definitely buy another building from them.
