Non existent quality control and silencing of any criticism
Bark River Knives do have really nice designs. I also really like the handleshapes they do but there are glaring issues.First of all there seems to be absolutely no interest in doing any quality control. They regularly ship out stuff that should never get through qc. Also they are severely burning the edges as they refuse to properly cool the blades while grinding. There have also been several occasions in the past where they mislabeled the steel as some higher quality pm steels that were actually just a2 when tested.They do not accept any criticism and just blame the customers and try to gaslight them.Everyone who is slightly critical about the shotty product being delivered for a premium price gets silenced by deleting posts, comments and kicking them from the official group.This alone speaks for itself.
