Glossier is one of my fav brands, I love their beauty items, their merch and nevertheless their customer service - always there to help me. Love!

Excellent Customer Service

I have purchased a lot of Glossier products over the last several years and re-purchased a good portion of those. Every time I’m around central London I always end up popping in for a top up of something and on the last visit I tried out the Cloud Paint Plush Blush but, as can happen in a busy store, two colours were swapped on the table so when I made the purchase I didn’t realise I had the wrong colour name. The mistake was discovered when I got home so I emailed their customer service (on a Saturday evening) and received a response same day with the issue resolved in 24hrs. I cannot fault Glossier’s customer service either in-store or online and their products are fantastic.

Cloud Paint changed colour - Storm

Glossier's 'Cloud Paint' blush in Storm has been my go to blush for years, but the recent change in colour and formula has ruined it for me. It used to be the perfect burnt berry shade, deep and with hints of purple in the browny rose that made my cheeks look naturally flushed. Now it's more of a brick brown shade - which doesn't complement my pale olive skin at all. A quick google search shows that other people have noticed this too, with side by side photos and swatches confirming the change in colour. The change wasn't announced by Glossier, if I had known I wouldn't have bought it - it's a lot of money to spend on something which doesn't suit me! What's worse is that it's less pigmented and disappears in hours, whereas the previous blush would make my cheeks look lovely all day or night. Really disappointed - Glossier should announce when it changes specific shades so that people know what they're buying. Such a shame as it really was the perfect blush!

Recently purchase the Eyebriw Pencil and Boy Bris Gel from Glossier .Bit Pricey , but absolutely love the way it makes my brow feel and look . It runs smooth and stays put tlll I remove my make up . . Very happy with the purchase .

Can’t trust their reviews

Can’t trust their reviews. I have the Glossier You perfume which I love so when in needed new hand cream I decided to buy the You version from Glossier. It was absolutely vile, smelled nothing like the perfume, almost vomit like. I decided to leave a review on the website in case others ended up spending £20 on something that smells awful. Despite me verifying my review as soon as I got the email, my review never made it to their website. I know they publish negative ones but it makes me think they are not publishing all negative ones which skews the rating of the product. Very disappointed and won’t be buying from them again. Unfortunately I’m out £20 because I don’t want my hands to be greasy and smell of vomit.

Glossier has to be one of the best…

Glossier has to be one of the best places to go to if you’re looking for anything around skincare/makeup. Even on busy days, the staff make sure to allow customers waiting to try their signature perfume. The whole shop consists of a beautifully well thought out layout filled with gorgeous testers on different stalls so you can find the perfect shade for you. Also, the waiting area has stunning seats and once you’ve ordered your makeup from one of the amazing staff, you receive your gift in a cute pink bag. Finally, I would like to give a huge shout out to Annabel for her incredible service today - it has completely made my day!! I can’t wait for my next visit xx

Such a bad experience

Such a bad experience. While I’ve previously shopped online with no issues, this was so bad that I will not be shopping there again. I ordered a couple of items from the webshop and waited very patiently. After having waited for about a month(!), I had to spend time reaching out to the customer service team. They then sent a replacement package (that they had the nerve to call “complimentary”), that I then had to wait additional time for. And then, once a package finally arrived, an item was missing. They refused to send this item and instead gave me a $5 voucher – essentially an empty gesture, seeing as I would then have to spend more money on their site – not to add that shipping alone is more than twice that amount.

Nice range of products with great marketing, I love the Super Glow serum, and will continue to try out different products they offer. The ordering process was easy and I got my package in Croatia in 3 days. I appreciate they offer proper and fast delivery service.

Didn’t think I’d fall for the hype but here we are. Boy Brow and Cloud Paint are now permanent residents in my makeup bag. Effortless, cute, and makes me look like I slept 8 hours even when I didn’t.

Cheap products at high prices

Giving 2 stars because the girls in the shop are actually helpful, otherwise would be 1 star:The retinol might be good, I wasn’t been able to use it yet because the pump didn’t work, so I had to buy something else. I took it back and instead of changing it, they cleaned it and used a few pumps to demonstrate. For £40 it is unacceptable. The perfume Glossier You, you cannot smell it at all, not even minutes after you use it. £70 is not cheap, very disappointing. Not recommended.

Fantastic company great products

This is one of the best companies for customer service and for products. I had a problem with an online order. It was split delivery and the delivery company lost one. I contacted glossier via email and they replied almost immediately, sent out a replacement without hesitation. Very bright, breezy, happy communication. Very reassuring. Christine was particularly lovely. I highly recommend this company and they make such beautiful and unique products. Love Glossier. Thank you 🤩 Sarah xx

Why did I spend so much money

Ive heard so much about glossier and all the nose they made. They have such a presence on social media people saying so much good. Watching countless videos before spending a ridiculous amount of money for a wild fig balmdotcom, you parfum, boy brow, 2 ultralips in the colours fête and cachet and later on a plain balmdotcom. Now an individual thoughts about each product. Wild fig balm : in no way ressembles figs. Not at all fresh but more like a powdery overwhelming sweetness. I have lived in area where figs grow naturally in the wild and as a cook I work with figs and their leaves. The hydration is real. Same level as aquaphor. You perfum : as for the claims that it smells different on everyone I would never know. For me it was just a generic musky veering femme scent. I gave it away. Boybrow : I will never use anything else. It looks natural, no clumping and any mistakes are super easy to fix. They last all day and all night without smudging. Ultralips : a very sheer product but it was exactly what I was looking for. It kinda blends in with your natural lip colour. VERY HYDRATING. Balmdotcom : I got it because I knew I liked the hydration it provided but what I did not expect was this terrible rancid oil plastic odeur to it. Just to compare I’ve had the same aquaphor for over 4 years and it’s still scent neutral. Watch out if you’re shipping to Europe you might not get a tracking for your parcel. It arrives in 10 to 14 days.

MISLEADING COLOUR MATCH SERVICE

I was very apprehensive about buying face foundation online but Glossier stretch fluid foundation got great reviews so the colour match service led me to buy the foundation. For years I have used Chantecaille future skin in Alabaster so entered that on the colour match. I was advised to buy the Glossier fluid foundation in light 2. This arrived a few days ago and to say it is not a match for my existing foundation barely begins to state the reality as frankly it is NOTHING like it at all and is unusable as it is far too dark. This purchase was a total waste of money and I was badly misled by Glossier’s colour match. It really amounts to misdescription to call it colour match. I would like to upload photos showing my Chantecaille shade against Glossier light 2 but cannot see any way to do this.

Cute aesthetic but low quality and high prices

So my reason for 2 stars is I love glossiers aesthetic and they have great customer service when you need help with an order but that's as far as it goes with the good. I was a purchaser of their you perfume for a very very long time and once they became more popular they changed the formula (not for the better) completely watered it down with the smell of rubbing alcohol and RAISED the price for a new horrible product. Glossier for awhile refused to admit to the change though many people mentioned how bad the smell had become. What's even worse is they keep the glowing reviews of the old formula, which were amazing because it was soooo good, to sell the new bad formula. Completely dishonest. They also do not post reviews that are 1 star about the new formula change. Did not post mine or 2 of my family members and I got a run around about how my review may not have been appropriate though it was absolutely fine. Just talked about what I've mentioned here.

Exceptional customer service over…

Exceptional customer service over email. Replies are quick. I found the website confusing and ordered the wrong colour. I didn’t realise there were the same shades in Tan etc. But they resolved my problem really fast and couldn’t recommend them more
