I, too, love ordering my salmon, halibut from Alaska, and tried a new company. WOW, delivered promptly, and was the best choice ever. Fish is great, and by the way it arrives flash frozen, so totally frozen upon arrival. Only suggestion I have, is wish they would offer PORTION sizes on the halibut as one of my packages is too large for even two people. I prefer to cook fresh nightly and have no left overs. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I have been ordering seafood online for many years now. It has been hit and miss because a lot of these companies are around for awhile and then they disappear... so when you find a good one, oftentimes they will not be in business the next year. Or, you can easily spend 400$ and have some of the oldest, nastiest product you've ever seen. Happily, this was not the case with Island Seafoods. In my latest search for Alaskan seafood excellence I came across Island Seafoods and decided to take a chance and place an order. They have a real working phone number and you get to talk to a real person when you call (if you need to). They don't seem to answer emails, but I can live with that if the phone number actually works. I did need to contact them and every person I spoke with there was kind and professional. And then, there is the product quality... It's been many years since I have had crab of the quality I received from Island Seafoods. Clean, fresh, not all broken up, packaged with care and love. It was amazing. I highly recommend Island Seafoods to anyone looking for Alaskan Seafood of any kind (or even some of the other options available...like Texas Gulf Shrimp).
