It wasn’t explained to us how the…

It wasn’t explained to us how the financing works. It was never said that it is an actual charge card which changed everything about our payments. We purchased bedding and pillows that they charged and billed for prior too receiving our bed which changed our monthly payment to a sooner date and payment. That was completely misleading. The sales person ordered the wrong mattress topper that was over double what the topper cost that we wanted. Our bed had a 6 inch split underneath both mattress sides that NO ONE had explained ahead of time was part of the design used for hoses. We thought they cut it with a box cutter. The delivery drivers backed up into our yard and got stuck causing huge ruts in our yard. My husband had to pull them out. No one offered to fill in the ruts or have a yard repair service come out.

Great bed, but poor delivery experience

We really, really like our bed so far now that we’re a few weeks in, but the delivery debacle was honestly really upsetting. We completely dismantled our room and old bed and the walk way path to our room for the delivery as well as took off from work to be at home only for the bed to not arrive during the delivery window/date scheduled. Received a call after the delivery window had passed saying they were “searching” for a bed and someone would call in an hour. An hour and more passed, without ever receiving a call, and eventually in the afternoon I was simply sent a text telling me my new delivery date for a couple weeks later. No call, no apology, etc. We had to reach out to find out what was going on and were told this never happens. They did end up finding our bed and were able to deliver the next day, but no real apology or offer of waived delivery fee, etc for their failure, the missed work and poor communication. Very disappointing delivery experience/customer care in the circumstance.

Great bed, sales process excellent

First and most important, the bed is very comfortable. The purchase process was a positive experience. Our sales associate Joanne, was patient and informative.

Warning Sleep number beds break!

Warning: sleep number beds are not worth the price and the company does not stick by its product. Ours ( purchased 2 years ago) leaked a little air from the start. I did not understand that this was not normal. We checked all the fittings and just figured it leaked a little. Now it leaks a lot. I had a tech come ($190) who said it needed a part. Now I have to buy a new “chamber” because the original was clearly defective. So another $220 meaning I have now spent over $400. Who ever heard of having to pay for up keep in a mattress? I set it at 100 anyway as both my husband and I need a hard bed for our backs ( as most people do). What a waste of money! And time! It will take 2 months before I can get an appt to get it fixed. Meaning I have to fill it every night or sleep in a bed that causes me to have a back ache. Does Sleep number care ? No. They probably put in defective parts so they can sell replacements. Terrible company.

I wish I could give less than one star

I wish I could give less than one star. We ordered a sleep number in November. Took the first available delivery date in January. After Sleep number confirmed the delivery the day before, I took off work, disrupted my home to prepare. I sat and waited the 3 hour window. Heard nothing. Finally after the delivery window I called them. They told me they could not in fact deliver (b/c of bad weather even though it was 60 degrees and sunny). They rescheduled me for February. Again they confirmed the delivery the day before. I again took off work and disrupted my home to ensure everything was the way they request on their delivery prep. Again I sat and waited 3 hours. At the end of the delivery window, they called and said they could not deliver again. The excuse given this time was that the product was not there. They tried to reschedule for March. I declined and asked for a refund. I emailed, asked to talk with someone in management each time I talked-- i got zero apologies, zero actual believable excuses. If they have this poor of customer service after 3 months of having my thousands of dollars but my not even having the product yet, I can't imagine how bad the service is when you need them after a while with the product

Love the bed. Only issue is the foot warmer doesn’t stay on. Will often shut off after only a few minutes.

From beginning of the sale to getting the bed was phenomenal. Would highly recommend Sleep number! It’s the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on! Waking up feeling rested and have less aches and pains everyday!

Beyond Satisfied

It's been a while since I have purchased a mattress and that was mainly because I didn't want to go through the process of going and laying on a million beds that in the end wouldn't actually give me the support I need for my very messed up spine (thanks to years of gymnastics and being hypermobile in weird places).I slept on my friend's bed - who also happens to sell for Sleep Number - and was quickly convinced this was what I needed. The actual shopping process was wonderful and I am pretty sure after getting to sleep in my own bed that I'll be completely converted. The team over in Franklin, TN are amazing with a 10/10 experience.

I have slept on the couch since 2005…

I have slept on the couch since 2005 because beds always hurt my back. I've been using the sleep number bed since May 2025 and now I can't sleep on the couch! This bed is simply amazing!

The representative that helped us was so easy to work with. Knowledgeable and was very clear communicating all the benefits, options, and costing. Very transparent and didnt try to push us into anything. Store was clean and the whole process was easy and enjoyable.

Deceptive Practices!

purchased a Sleep Number bed using their zero-interest financing. The bed was delivered defective — broken upon arrival. Within days, I initiated a return under their advertised 100-day return policy.That’s when the real problem started.I was told the base wasn’t covered under the return policy — despite never signing or receiving any written documentation stating that. After pushing back, they reversed that position. So clearly the “policy” wasn’t as clear as they claimed.Then I was told I would be charged a $1,000 restocking fee for returning a defective product.Let that sink in.The product arrived broken, and I’m being asked to pay $1,000 to have it taken back.On top of that, they scheduled pickup nearly three weeks out, leaving a defective bed occupying space in my home while I wait for resolution.There was no signed disclosure of this restocking fee during my phone purchase. No paperwork. No acknowledgment. Just an attempt to enforce “terms and conditions” after the fact.The sales process was smooth. The return process feels designed to exhaust you into compliance.
