The agent, Jill Sobolik was easy to work with she new her product and was always available to contact. The products are of good quality. I felt the prices may have been a bit high but if you want quality you have to pay.
Tara was amazing from the very start during the process of understanding what style carpeting I was looking for. She found several comparisons and ultimately found the one l loved. She also remembered me from my visit to the store a few years ago. Tara is so personable. I enjoyed working with her from start to finish. And will definitely seek her out for my next house project.
I came in with a vision for my project and I was a little worried that I might not get the same treatment because I was doing the full design nor buying all products through Sterling. That was not the case, I received excellent customer service and quality materials. I loved working with Bethany!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience working with Ashley R @ Sterling Carpet One. She was great at communicating, went out of her way to meet us at the store when we were in town and did a great job getting to know our style in order to create a beautiful space. Our contractors were also very impressed by her and her willingness to go above and beyond.
Ashley R. and the entire Sterling team have been wonderful to work with! Ashley designed cabinets and more for all our needs during an extensive remodel. The final product is even better than the renderings! She has been helpful throughout the process, providing expertise with product and layout, answering any and all questions and keeping me up to date through the process. Ashley Renfow helped me through the whole process of selection before I started to build my house. She sat down with me, looked at my drafts, came up with a plan, recommended flooring, cabinets, tile, countertops, blacksplash, lighting, and how they would all go together with the color scheme I liked. Tara was great to work with! She is very nice and every time I came in she was ready to help me with any questions I had! She made my first experience there great and made be feel comfortable! Definitely will be going back for any other home projects!
Valerie was extremely helpful in listening to our wants and needs and showing us a variety of options in our price range. She was willing to go the extra mile in finding answers to our questions, finding other professionals to work with and problem solving when things came up. I would highly recommend their service.

We had an awesome experience with Alicia at Sterling Carpet One! Recently we did a major master bathroom remodel with her assistance. I had a vision for doing something unique and yet I was trying to be conscientious of a budget too. With a variety of samples available in the store, and the suggestions that were made, I was able to complete the vision. Alicia was patient with helping me understand the expenses associated with the installation, as well as respectful of my budget considerations as much as she could be. EVERY DAY I am excited about how my bathroom turned out! Thanks Alicia and Sterling Carpet One.
We recently had some stacked stone work done in our home. We met with Megan Werven to plan what was to be done. Megan ordered the stone work, arranged for an installer, and followed up on the project. There was a problem with the stones. Megan addressed it right away, came to our home to view it, took pictures, contacted the supplier, and corrected the situation for us. We are very pleased with how professional Megan was and how accommodating she was. We will highly recommend Sterling Carpet One and Megan Werven to friends and family.
My husband and I recently decided to update the flooring in our lake home in Bemidji. We weren't familiar with any flooring specialists there but have done business with Sterling Carpet One in Grand Forks. So we decided to visit the Bemidji store. We were greeted by Jack Dunphy. How lucky we were to meet him! He not only helped us chose the right flooring, he came right out that afternoon to measure and we had a quote within a couple of days! Since we were nearing the end of the season, w were able to start the process so we could complete it before we close the cabin. We are so grateful to Jack for his expertise and knowledge! Sales part was the only satisfactory experience through the whole process. As a customer, what I really care about is the finished product. As such, the overall labor quality was poor or mediocre at best. After sales/ordering materials, coordination for the installations was not client-oriented at all. In addition, sub-contractors coming to house to install things did not clean after they finished works, for the most part. Lastly, from what I could tell works done were checked or supervised upon completion.
When I wanted to replace my counter top and sink in my bathroom, Steph gave me all of my options right away. Than she helped me find the perfect one that made my bathroom look amazing. She also found the sink I wanted, which made my bathroom have an elegant style. On my next project, I will be going back to Sterling Carpet One to get my supplies.
Overall our projects turned out nicely but there were a few things that I felt could have been better. The projects also took much longer than expected.
We had a great experience working with Val. She was very knowledgeable about products and design and helped us make choices that turned our kitchen remodel into a beautiful reality!
Stephanie was an absolute gem to work with in the design for our new home (tile, paint, flooring). After having one short conversation, she pulled together a design for our master shower that I would never have been able to pull together myself. She listened attentively and pulled product/options for our consideration accordingly. She was available for questions, prompt in response, and communicated thoroughly when our product arrived. Highly recommend!
Valerie helped us get the kitchen of our dreams and Tricia's cabinet lighting took it o the next level. Every part of the project they helped us with was perfect.
