Still waiting for my order and it has been over a month

Still waiting for my order and it has been one month…they got their money from PayPal so why should they care,,,,this is not good if they want repeat customers, ….they will run out of people who shop for these types of products to screw over with delays and poor customer service…one and done as far as I am concerned…I have learned my lesson

I made a online order 12/6

I made a online order 12/6. As of 12/23 I have yet to receive my order, when I called them, I was told " we shipped it out, there's nothing we can do". I order many things online, from cigars to clothing, never has it taken almost 3 weeks. I'm done with lamp stand oil.

Great products!

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews because I’ve ordered from the lamp stand for two years now and have never had a bad experience! I received all products, packaged exceptionally well, on time and never broken. In fact, I exclusively order candles through their online store and usually about 4-6 at a time. Never once has anything been broken or missing (and I live a state away from their main location). They put Bath and Body Works to shame in my opinion. Their pricing is reasonable and they have periodic sales that also help bring down the cost. They also have an awesome variety of brands to select from - my favorite are WoodWick, Volcano, and Milkhouse. I would highly recommend the lamp stand for a variety of candles! They have other items as well but I do not have experience with them but I’m sure their service is just as great.

Never received product, yet I was charged at time of order!

I ordered two figurines earlier this year. I understood they were pre-orders. However, the ship date was delayed again and again and again. I was being told these items weren't in stock yet and that I couldn't cancel because I pre-ordered. Ridiculous. By the time months went by, the items we were "waiting" for were on multiple other websites, so I ordered from elsewhere and received the products right away. I had to dispute the case with my credit card due to the fact that I was charged but never received the product. Would never order from Lamp Stand again.

Great products that aren't in stock

This company has great products and great pricing so it would be great if they didn't constantly cancel orders. I purchased one Santa figurine on sale only to have the order canceled because it was out of stock...I still loved the products so I went and purchased a second Santa figurine that was larger and much more expensive only to have my order canceled a second time!

Sub-standard product & Zero Customer Service

9 days for product to arrive - I paid for shipping. Lampe oil would not light candle/wick. Tried 3 new wicks and still no flame. Oil is sub-standard...not enough isopropyl alcohol in it. Sent 2 emails to company....no response. Called 25+ times, left messages, still no call back. Horrible customer service.

Don’t waste your time

Placed an order with The Lamp Stand in September for Christmas ornaments thinking I’d get a head start on my holiday shopping, wrong!I wrote an email to customer service a month after waiting for my ornaments to arrive and was told that Christopher Radiko’s collection was taking longer to be released than once thought but I’d have my order in one to two weeks more. Once again, wrong!It’s the end of November now and I called today and was told I’d be better off asking for a refund instead of waiting. My refund is pending, of course, for 48 hours - we will see of it actually happens - I’m not believing anything I’m told by the representatives of this company.

One of the worst customer experiences I've had in a while

One of the worst customer experiences I have had, but not because people weren't nice, but because every single person I spoke to, and their systems, are incompetent. First, I placed an order that was out of stock but no indication on line when I placed the order and no email indicating that the order would not be shipped in a reasonable time frame. Second, when two weeks passed, I contacted the company and was told that the item was not in stock and would not be shipped out for approximately one month. I explicitly said that was not acceptable and said that I wanted the order cancelled and requested email confirmation to cancel the order. I never received the requested email and apparently, the customer service person I spoke to never cancelled the order nor did they document the conversation. Third, after receiving the item I no longer wanted (I purchased it thru another reseller), I contacted the company and apparently spoke to the manager of customer service. I explained what had transpired and the gentleman was clueless about how to manage an upset customer. I explained that I did not want the item and he just told me to put the item out of my porch and Fedex would come and pick it up. I knew that is not how it worked and asked him if they were going to send me a call tag to print - he assured me that wasn't necessary and Fedex would come that afternoon and that he would refund my money as soon as Fedex picked up the item. Again, I asked for email confirmation, which never arrived. An hour later, I contacted Fedex and asked them if they had been instructed to pick up a package at my house and they of course told me "NO" which is what I expected, so I called the company again and again asked for Fedex to pick up the package - she reiterated everything the previous individual did and again, I asked for email confirmation. However, this time, she did send me a link to print a Fedex return label. But, she assured me that once Fedex picked up the package, they would refund my money. However, she never informed Fedex to pick up the package - so I again needed to contact Fedex to pick up the package and they never initiated the refund. I needed to call the company again. So...I needed to contact the company 4 times and Fedex twice to send back a package that I would never have ordered if their inventory system was accurate. What a total waste of time. Why couldn't a single person have done their job correctly?

Deceitful uncaring company

Even though I took a screen shot on this company’s website indicating free 2 day expedited delivery as long as the customer spent $75 (my purchase was well over this amount); the company wasn’t going to honor their offer and in fact, denied that there was such an offer. I called 2 more times asking to speak to a supervisor and none ever called me back. I also Followed up with an email and again no response.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Spent $491.00. lost order don't know when it will arrive or if it shipped. After all this no discount for future purchase. Will not use again.

Poor customer support

I visited the site about two weeks ago. Spun the prize wheel, qualified for free shipping. Filled up my cart with $40-50. Checked for a code? Nope. No code the next day. Or the next. Had an advertisement online telling me to check out. Creepy, but ok. Spun the wheel again and used a different email; maybe it was lost? Nope. 6 emails from them in just 4 days, and no code. Finally, I emailed the company. It’s been a week with no reply. They can spam me, but they can’t reply.I’m buying from Candlestomydoor instead, and Lampstand lost a customer with poor customer service.

What a wonderful company to do business…

What a wonderful company to do business with! Lots of candles to choose from and other items. Items ship on time.. prices are great. They carry crossroads candles, village candles.. plus others.. I'm so happy I found this company! You will be too😍
