Fun evening
My sister got some groupon discounts for wine and canvas, so we made a night of it. We met down at an El Torito down in Torrance, CA and settled in for the 3 hour event. Basically there is a group of 30 people and they teach you to paint one painting. The amazing way they teach, the un-artistic person can produce a painting very similar to what the instructor shows you to do. You can order drinks, food while you paint. They instruct you at a nice slow pace so you can chat with the people next to you, make friends, and enjoy your painting. My sister and I had a fantastic night. We painted peacocks and the amazing thing was just about everyone in the room had amazing beautiful peacock paintings. I think just about anyone could enjoy doing Wine and Canvas. You and a couple co workers, or family members.
