Started investing time learning trading in December 2023, I read books, found a "free" trading community, but I was still missing clarity and switching strategies very often. Most courses in the retail space are carbon copies of one another and those teaching may not be able to really explain what is happening in the market (understand: market auction theory, randomwalk theory, having an edge statistically...). After looking into books and videos done by professional traders, I started to pay attention to the importance of consistency and process. But as I tried to stick to a strategy, I realized I lacked the experience to properly review my own trades (I could tell when this was a good trade, but was still missing the context and then being confused how many losses in a row the strategy may have and other important stats). The context is king in trading, and many retail approaches concentrate on systematic approaches where context is lightly touched (most revolves around simple "uptrend is HH, HL, downtrend LH, LL"). I do not get anything from this review, and will post an update in the future. For now, the 5 stars are because: 1. The course focuses on skills and a concrete method to read the context based on order flow with clear explanations of what "could" be happening in the background. 2. Based on what I had learned in the last 6 months, the explanations are really solid ( not some hocus pocus with buzz words)3. Chris answers the questions promptly and in a detailed manner in the community or in the webinars. 4. The course has quizzes to progress, and clearly indicates when and what to practice (drills). And it makes it clear that practice is a must. 5. The contents look solid covering all aspects of trading (not only the strategy). I am not done yet with the course (ca. 40% as you have to practice along the way). 6. Trusting someone with 20+ years of trading experience and qualifications also for the psychological side of trading (neuro-science) is a no-brainer.I obviously do not know yet if and when I may become a CPT, but for now, I just enjoy the journey, which is what matters. So if you have been running in circle, I highly recommend the TTM. It is also fairly priced, and let's face it, given the years experience and time spent, come to the fact, that even someone successful financially with trading, still has running costs (servers, updates, etc...) so "selling" a course is not always a sign that "He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."As sidenotes, if you are a real beginner, the course is also applicable (the learning curve may be steeper though), but at least, you will skip learning things which do not really bring anything. This course mainly focuses on the following asset classes: Spot FX and Stocks. But the methods would be applicable to any asset class (especially if trading CFD's). It also covers intraday and swing/positioning. For options, you get some hints in the TTM, but this is not really part of the curriculum here. Check the website, as alternatives are offered for options.
Trading has always seemed like a foreign language to me, but I'm glad I keep digging until I found Chris. He is very thorough and I like the fact that he teaches skills and structure that are universal over fixed strategies. Like truly learning the Game of chess or poker over learning one play that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. It's all Slowly but surely sinking into my brain and I couldn't be more excited about my Future!
I’ve since changed my review. Unfortunately the link I clicked on in an email I received to review another company, brought me to your site.
Chris Capre is one of the smartest and most down-to-earth people you will ever meet. His stock education program is second to none. The depth of knowledge and practical insights he provides are truly exceptional. Chris has a unique ability to make complex concepts easy to understand, and his passion for teaching is evident in every lesson. Do yourself a favor and go through the lessons slowly and take notes. The knowledge you gain will arm you for any market. I highly recommend his courses to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the stock market.
Out of all trading courses that I've signed up to 2nd Skies have recorded classes and live sessions so i can learn on my time. All others that I tried 2nd Skies videos are very detailed and I love the quizzes after each video. I do feel like the course keeps you accountable and you need to put the work in to learn.
Chris is pretty much a pure genius! There are no guarantees in trading, but with his strategies, teaching methods, and logical explanations, your chances of being a successful trader will improve tremendously.
As a long-term student, I've journeyed through a rich landscape of learning and growth. Throughout, Chris Capre has been a steadfast mentor and friend.Chris's mentorship transcends privilege; he's been a compass in confusion and an architect of a transformative mindset—pivoting me from student to critical thinker, embodying a 'beginner's mindset.'Chris taught me that a "growth mindset" is foundational to learning and crucial for both financial and personal growth. His example has shown me that challenges and mistakes are opportunities for growth and perseverance. He's adeptly bridged theory with practice, demonstrating their synergy. Chris's support has been crucial, uplifting me during times of doubt and reinforcing my potential. My profound thanks go to Chris for his patience, wisdom, and the courage he's instilled in me. His greatest gift has been teaching me to learn, grow, and pursue wisdom fearlessly. For this, and a future ripe with learning, my gratitude is boundless. With utmost appreciation and respect.
I recently enrolled in the 2ndSkies Trading course, and I must say that it has been a fantastic learning journey. Chris Capre, the CEO of 2nd Skies Trading, provides a wealth of knowledge and insights for traders and investors looking to develop a professional edge.Chris goes into serious detail about price action structures, which he has learned to see. Unlike many other courses, he doesn’t shy away from complexity. As a student, I feel like I’m genuinely learning something valuable.Chris emphasizes practice to make concepts second nature. His teaching style encourages active learning and practical application. As someone who wants to become a steadily profitable trader, I appreciate this approach. In conclusion, if you’re serious about trading and want to learn from an experienced mentor, I highly recommend the 2ndSkies Trading course by Chris Capre. It’s an investment in your trading future that pays off.
The learning experience was fantastic and priceless. The things that I have been learning so far it’s the exact answers to the questions I had in my mind about trading I didn’t think someone could explain and teach me like the way this TTM course and Chris Capre has been in this last couple of weeks. I am really looking forward to learn more and practice more with 2nd skies well as now and in future. I would really recommend it to anyone who is keen on learning it the right way and start their trading learning with the real experienced mentors.
GREAT TRADING COURSE OUT THERE.
The course layout is well designed and easy to follow, the content is presented in a way that makes sense and is easy to learn.
I accidently removed my review about these liars which I posted a few days ago. I suggest people who are still considering "trading for a living" read this and make the right decision. I first started reading about trading in 2016, in 2017 I bought this 2ndskies course. After not being happy how my questions were dealt with on their forum by these liars, I stopped asking questions but continued watching the videos. The so called strategies did not work, I lost money. But most importantly I lost my mental health and wife partially because of all this. Anyway, read on please. After realizing that 2ndskies strategies are not real, I started to dig real deep and ended up investigating the markets for a few more years. And I arrived at a certain conclusion (backed up by trading experts I met by chance, and by the way they don't sell any courses). The conclusion is - you can make money trading, but you cannot do it for a living. The reason is - market conditions can change for very long periods of time and a winning strategy can become a break even strategy for more than a year (that is without taking into account transaction costs). That is NOT trading for a living. Where are you gonna get the money to live on while your strategy is not working for such a long period of time? And there is no way to predict when the market conditions change in your favour again. I backtested a breakout strategy on multiple currency pairs obtaining many hundreds of samples over many years. That strategy was a winning one before the so called "volatility crunch" kicked in around 2014. After it kicked in, the strategy stopped working. After the volatility crunch was over and the market conditions were back in a trader's favour, the strategy started working again. That backtest covered only several years. If you want to trade for the rest of your life, you could potentially have a 3 year period of time where you are not making any money (even with day trading). Now, you may wonder, what does all these have to do with 2ndskies? Well, firstly, their strategies don't work at all. Secondly, it is Chris Capre who has always been an advocate of "trading for a living". Nial Fuller and that singaporian guy Rayner for example (whose strategies also do not work by the way) at least openly tell you that you do not trade for a living, that there is no such thing. Chris and his crew on the other hand have always been backing the non-existent concept of "trading for a living". There are many other reasons I could list why you should not trust these liars, no matter how legit they look. They mention things such as "you can skip the backtesting part" (quote by Sasha Gogolin, one of Chris's boys). Really??? Skip the backtesting and just trust you bros?! No, thank you, i will pass on that advice. Guys, do yourself a favour, do not trust them and do not get involved. Yes, you can make money trading, but you cannot trade for a living, you will need to keep your job/business. I hope Chris and his crew answer for their sins. I know its been a long time, but all the worst to you. Thanks for ruining my life, it was partially my fault, i should have listened to my inner voice, but you are partially responsible for sure. One addition: I know that eventually this review will be replied to, liars like these are well trained to write responses and use all kind of tricks to make you look wrong. But i will not be getting involved in that conversation, I am above that (chatting with a liar).
Chris really goes into some serious detail about price action structures that he has learned to see. A lot of people offering to teach trading or technical analysis techniques don't go into this much depth. I feel like I'm really learning something here.
Well, good training is essential to be a profitable trader otherwise the hedgefund companies would be hiring as many to be profitable. There is a difference between a trader and a steady profitable trader. After starting this course at 2ndSkies I think without it you are incomplete and if you want to be steadily profitable you must get trained well. The teacher Chris Capre is awesome and helpful. He stresses on practice, to make the our second nature. I am grateful to have come across such a nice person.
Excellent course material, no messing about, and straight to the point! I'm new to trading, but I've done a couple of online trading courses during the past few months, but have not live-traded so far. Chris and 2ndSkies are about teaching you the skills necessary to see the Price Action for yourself. I wanted this kind of pithy course material, rather than some strategy to follow and repeat. I'm going through the material for the first time, and I find the quizzes between sections are a good indicator if you're getting it. Personally, I'd like a little more handholding when setting up charts and indicators. I'm totally looking forward to going through it again for the second time, maybe taking some notes (which helps me retain information), then diving into practicing on a sim and demo account. Thanks, Chris!
Chris is amazing. He teaches in a way that you don't need to go back to understand what he is talking about. He knows what he is doing Great content. Highly recommend!
The course is done very well. It has very solid foundational knowlegde. Key concept are introduced step by step, where each step is a video + a questionnaire about the video that enables you to advance.I think it is a must to take a course like that to even consider starting trading. I'm halfway through and am quite happy with what I've learned. However more interesting knowlegde is still in front of me.It is very easy to loose money in the markets, so I prefer to invest first into some knowledge about the markets to help me minimize the amount of money lost. Trading is actually kinda similar to starting a company. You don't start a company before you know what that company will make/sell. You need to know your thing before starting a company. So I think trading should be treated just like every other business.Knowledge is key, and the trading masterclass delivers.I do have to say I do the course before applying the knowledge, simply because I like to have exhaustive knowledge about a topic before applying knowledge in practice. Must be because I'm an engineer, or sth.So time will tell how well I do in the markets. One has to remember that trading is a game of probabilities that is also affected by emotions of the trader, so definitely is not for everybody.
It was very seamless and straight to the point.. I wish you could have gone over the nuances of FOREX a little more. Explained the foundations of what makes the candle sticks go up and down and perhaps reference some of the lower time frame charts when going over examples on the higher time frames just to get a good glimpse of them on a different chart. Overall very great material.
The tutorials on this course are extremely well put together. Chris is an excellent tutor with a very unique style and approach to trading that is so far removed from all the other courses out there. You can instantly tell he comes from an institutional background, approaches and interprets the market as a professional as opposed to the typical retail approach that everyone teaches. His teaching skills are top class, totally engaging. This course will provide with a toolkit but it will then be down to you to practice, practice, and practice until it becomes second nature. If you come to this thinking this is a get rich quick program then you will be disappointed. They don’t exist. I believe this course, however, with hard work will lead to long term profitability.
