Croatian Catamaran Experience - A true 10/10 Experience
Nina from Adriatic Experience was a joy to work with. We were so impressed by the itinerary that she created for our Croatian Catamaran experience for four couples. Throughout the planning stages, she offered excellent suggestions and booked all our accommodations, (pre and post catamaran trip), co-ordinated all airport transfers, booked excellent tour guides, and made dinner reservations at exceptional restaurants. The highlight of the trip was the luxurious catamaran for our adventure from Split to Dubrovnik, which Nina also organized. I just can’t say enough about our wonderful crew on board. They absolutely made the trip for us. From start to finish, Nina was always quick to respond to any questions. Our trip was a 10/10 experience. Thank you Nina and Adriatic Experience.

Croatian Yacht dream vacation
We were four couples who wanted the perfect Croatian vacation and we got it. Nina did an excellent job helping us select the right boat and organizing our trip from start to finish, including a short stay in both Split and Dubrovnik on either end of the boat trip. Nina booked private tours and experiences that gave us a behind the scenes look into Croatian life and culture and helped us select fantastic restaurants along the way. The yacht was the highlight. The crew made the trip and somehow became family along the way. They made sure we saw beautiful remote places with gorgeous scenery and swim spots and the chef prepared Michelin type meals every day. This trip exceeded all of our expectations and we can’t wait to plan another one soon. Thank you Nina and AE for a fabulous vacation!

Excellent from start to finish.
A great exeperience from start to finish. AE provide a truly bespoke experience. Nina was responsive, knowledgable from the get go in terms of helping us plan the perfect trip for our family and also during the trip when we needed to make adjustments. We had a fantastic week on board a 46ft Catermeran made even more mermoable by our friendly, warm and experinced host (Hana) and Skipper (Marko). Couldnt' recommned AE highly enough and will certaintainly be calling on them again to for future trips.

Nina's attention to detail in planning and helping organize our family vacation was unmatched. Every dinner was planned and executed perfectly both on and off the boat. She organized two charters for our family. Our 2nd charter was so good we invited the crew to come live with us in the US. We will charter again for sure with Nina and Adriatic Experiences.

Best Trip Ever!
This is our second time using Nina and Adriatic Experience to help plan our Croatian vacation. Nina's suggested itinerary, attention to detail, patience with our revisions, and complete availability during our two-week trip was 100% five-star perfect! Every last detail was simply amazing. Her hotel recommendations were spot-on, and her guides for our excursions (kayaking, e-bike tour, wine tastings) were pure perfection. Each day was somehow better than the previous. Amazing family trip to Croatia and Slovenia
We had the most amazing trip to Croatia and Slovenia, thanks to the thoughtful planning of Nina at Adriatic Experience. Nina gave us many suggestions for wonderful places to stay, dine, tour and experience. She listened to our families' interests and then made recommendations on what she thought we would enjoy. The highlight of our trip was a 4 night sail from Dubrovnik to Split, with overnight stops at three islands. Our skipper, Marko, was fabulous! We hope to take another sailing trip someday and have Marko be our skipper for that trip. Nina also arranged 4-5 private tours for our family, and each guide she chose was top notch. Throughout our trip, Nina touched base every day or two to provide us with upcoming details and check to make sure we were satisfied with everything. I can't say enough positive things about Adriatic Experience. I highly recommend this company to help plan your next vacation.

Croatian holiday
Our tour director, Nina paid attention to every detail to make our Croatian experience, unique and unforgettable. My husband and I especially enjoyed our visit to Korcula. The island was so beautiful the accommodations exceptional, and the food was delicious. But we would also like to mention our personal chef whom Nina obtained for us. Sasha was not only an amazing chef, but so interesting and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this Croatian experience to friends and family!

Trip to Slovenia and Croatia
Nina is very knowledgeable and incredibly organized. I did not have a lot of time to spend on planning the trip which was fine since Nina asked the right questions to determine what she would recommend. Everything she booked for us was perfect. I loved the daily emails letting me know where we needed to be and when along with the guide's name and phone number. She was flexible with my changes while in Slovenia and Croatia and just an absolute pleasure to work with.

Wonderful sail on the Ionian Sea
Wonderful sail on the Ionian Sea! This was our 2nd time sailing with Adriatic Experience*. We were on a Lagoon 40' catamaran, which was the perfect size for our group - 5 guests and skipper and cook/crew. The skipper was an expert in every aspect of the boat. He also knew where to moor so we could enjoy swimming and quiet overnights. Meals on board were excellent.I highly recommend this company!*(Our previous sail was on the Croatian coast - also highly recommended.)

Adriatic Experience trip, coordinated by Nina, gave our family a magical week exploring the coast of Croatia. Sailboat Captain allowed us to relax and explore with his personal hints about where and what would make the best experience. Calm winds meant little sailing, but motoring got us between island efficiently. Each place had many options of adventures. Biking, wine tasting and seafood dinners were all enjoyed. We arranged tour guides at 3 stops to give us history of this region. Family agreed that 1 week was not enough to explore this region!

Nina at Adriatic Experience arranged a once-in-a-lifetime family trip, centered in Dubrovnik, the 1st week of May, 2023. Our Villa was extraordinary, our yacht trips to Korcula (for a magnificent dinner at LD Palace) and to Kotor, Montenegro were fun, and our drivers and guides all were top notch. Nina handled all the arrangements, with our input of course. Five years ago, Nina planned and executed a 3 week vacation for us and another couple through not only Croatia but the surrounding countries as well. She can do it all, with careful attention to detail both before and during the trip.

Honeymoon in Croatia
Nina & her team were wonderful to work with, from beginning to end! She helped us navigate our postponed honeymoon that was originally scheduled for June 2020 that we finally made happen in April 2023! Nina responded immediately to each & every question that we had, but more importantly she helped us design the most wonderful itinerary; Dubrovnik, Montenegro, Hvar & Split. Every driver and tour guide that we had was friendly, timely & professional. Our hotels were lovely and we appreciated all of the restaurant (& wine!) recommendations. Some highlights were the wonderful boat tour through the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro and ending our trip with an intimate chef's table dinner in Split! Croatia is such a special place, and Nina & her crew made it so easy to just relax & enjoy!

Beautiful Croatia was a dream…
Our trip to Croatia was an unbelievable experience and Nina and her crew did an amazing job scheduling and taking care of everything and all the little things. Our flight was over 3 hours late getting in to our first pickup, and Gordon was so patient and took good care of us and got us to the hotel as soon as he could. Also was able to make up our missed tour the next day. I would probably not recommend the chef's dinner and wine pairing at the Roxanich winery and hotel. The truffle hunt in Istria was so much fun! Just so many highlights to the trip, but probably my favorite was the catamaran 3 day sale through the smaller islands of Croatia. Jurko and Mihalis tended to our every need. They were so kind and friendly and I truly hated to leave the boat. Would have loved an extra day in Split. One day wasn't enough. Our guide Nives was delightful in Split and she was so knowledgeable. Our trip was at the very end of the season in Croatia. We were at some restaurants where it was their last service of the season. In fact, one of the restaurants we had a reservation at on one of the islands, was already closed. But the crew of our boat pivoted and made us a lovely dinner on the boat. It was so appreciated. They even got us a deck of Uno cards!!!! All of the restaurant suggestions were great. We did have one dinner in Dubrovnik that was 30-45 minutes away from our hotel called the Konavoski Dvor restaurant. We were the only guests in the restaurant. It was good, but there were so many cool looking places in the old city of Dubrovnik that would have been just as good and we could have walked to it. So it was a little too far to go. I would definitely use Adriatic Experience if we were going back to the area, which I hope some day to do again.

Croatia and Montenegro
Thanks to Nina and all of her Adriatic Experience team/partners, we had one of our most memorable and relaxing vacations! Nina suggested/created a wonderful 2 week itinerary for us in Croatia and Montenegro. Included was an exciting 5 day sail along the Dalmatian coast and through some of their most beautiful islands. She selected the best hotels, restaurants, guides, drivers, boat skipper and hostess for us, as well. Nina was very enjoyable to work with - communication was easy, friendly, and professional. We felt extremely well-heard regarding our preferences and needs. Even when a couple of issues arose (outside of anyone’s control), Nina and her partners were readily available and offered great alternatives/solutions. We look forward to working with Adriatic Experience in the near future for another amazing trip and have already referred several friends.

Croatia is AMAZING!
My husband and I just got back from an 8 day trip to Croatia. Nina from Adriatic Experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We had this tripped booked originally for June of 2020 so it had to be delayed a few years but Nina helped us rebook the entire trip once she felt the country was ready for travelers again. Nina listened to what our interests were and helped tailor the trip to what we wanted to do. The attention to detail was perfect and she booked everything from hotels, tours, transfers, restaurant reservations and beach clubs for us. Once we were there, we were not disappointed! Hotels were perfect, tour guides were fantastic and we felt we had the perfect mix of activities/tours/times to explore on our own/time to relax. Nina checked in every few days by email reminding us what our next few days entailed with details of times and pick up locations. When things went a little wrong due to weather, she tried her best to rebook us or offer us other options. She was always available by phone or text if we needed her for anything. Overall, this trip was absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend Croatia and this travel agency!

High quality cruising in Dalmatia
We had a very good trip hopping across the Dalmatian islands in a boat with a skipper and cook, and also stayed a couple of days in Brac in the beautiful Pučišća. I do not need to talk about Croatia and its beauty as a summer destination, you probably already know about this.In regards to the trip coordination, everything was just perfect. I spent a bit of time up front with Nina from Adriatic Experience and it was 100 percent worth it because all the experience about tours, transfers, the boat crew, etc. was flawless. All the recommended places were of very high quality and the communication with all the people involved was fluid and friendly. I strongly recommend Adriatic Experience for a high quality experience.

An Amazing vacation to Croatia thanks to Adriatic Experience.
We came across Adriatic Experience and Nina Burns while looking to do a family sailing trip in Croatia. It turned out that it was not going to work for us to do a sailing trip, but Nina offered to provide us with an vacation plan to tour around Croatia on our own. We originally had planned and paid the deposit for the lodging arrangements for the trip to occur the summer of 2020, but that didn’t work out due to the Covid-19 shutdowns. Nina worked with us to rebook for the summer of 2022 and spent several hours on the phone with us working through our arrangements and itinerary to make sure we were comfortable with it and it fit our budget.The trip turned out to be truly amazing tour through Croatia and the area. She set us up with the right amount of time in each place to truly enjoy them and still get to see a lot of what Croatia had to offer. Every accommodation that Nina arranged was wonderful. Nina worked with us and the accommodation providers to make sure we knew how to get to each place and that all of our arrangements were taken care of. Everything that Nina set up for us went amazingly smooth.Nina also went the extra effort to make some special dinner and tour arrangements for us. The itinerary that Nina and Adriatic experience provided us was full of helpful information on recommendations for activities, restaurants and transportation arrangements.We will recommend Adriatic Experience to any of our friends and family that are considering a vacation In Croatia or the surrounding countries.

Perfect Experience
I can't begin to explain how wonderful our trip was, thanks to Nina and Adriatic Experience. For starters, we were two years delayed due to the pandemic, but Nina regularly checked in, gave us updates, and then, when it was finally okay to travel again, arranged for the trip of a lifetime. From Ljubljana to Dubrovnik, our itinerary was perfect. Every hotel Nina selected for us was wonderful and all the excursions were perfectly planned. Most of all, Nina works with the most amazing drivers, host/hostesses and tour guides. We loved absolutely everyone we met. They were friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and yes, fun! Slovenia and Croatia are extremely special places to visit -- we packed an awful lot in and Nina worked closely with us to make sure we had a top notch experience. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

A Perfect 1st Sailing Experience
This was my first experience with a chartered sailing trip. We embarked from Athens, and sailed 7 nights through the Cyclades Islands before returning to Athens. I was immensely impressed with the captain and crew from the start. The captain had looked ahead at the weather and make a few suggestions to alter our route to make for the most enjoyable sailing experience. We took his suggestions and had a truly amazing trip. Greece and the Aegean Sea are so beautiful and charming, but for me the most memorable thing was the food prepared onboard by our incredible cook. The fresh seafood and other traditional Greek fare was the perfect way to round out one of my favorite adventures to date. I hope to be back again sailing with Adriatic Experience soon!
