109 spam calls in 24 hours

109 spam calls in 24 hours. I guess I should have found reviews before giving them my phone number. I added my number for information right before work and they said they’d call me. I didn’t want a call I wanted a text or email but that wasn’t an option. Then I started working and ignoring my phone. I woke up this morning to more calls. 109 missed calls and still counting. I wouldn’t even give money to someone who called 10x like this let alone 110. They call from 100 different numbers so there’s really no way to block them. Goodluck.

They called me all day on repeat

They called me all day on repeat. Even if I declined the call they would call back over and over. A few times they left messages which included them having a personal conversation with someone else.

I can't believe I fell for this

I can't believe I fell for this. A google search led me to this site. I put in my information and they called immediately. Someone offered me coverage from a company I know to be terrible and he kept pushing me to sign up. I asked him to send me an email with other options, but he said he couldn't send emails with that and gave me a bs excuse. I said I didn't want to rush into anything this important and we should touch base the next day. He hang up. Now I'm getting a spam call EVERY HOUR from similar numbers. I wish I had looked them up on Trust Pilot before I did it...

Do not leave your phone number

Do not leave your phone number on this company's website. Today I have had 40 phone calls regarding my health care coverage. I asked to be taken off of their call list to no avail.

Please DO NOT CLICK on this website…

Please DO NOT CLICK on this website even by mistake. i searched for mass health insurance and this site came on the top with similar keywords. Upon clicking it asked to enter basic info and within 10-15sec i received a call. Its a scam. I have received 20 calls a day since last five days. And now it is just plain harassment to call someone these many times even after telling them you are not interested.

This is a scam company

This is a scam company and DON'T give your info to them like I did. I was so dumb and made the mistake of calling them because I was looking for cheaper healthcare plans and the site looked real. I clicked on "BlueCross Blue Shield plans" and called the number that showed up under "Speak to a rep". I called, someone immediately picked up. His name was John Cassello (though I doubt that's his real name). He tried to butter me up and sound all friendly to get me to pay for this scam "insurance plan". Anyway, I fell for it and now they have my info. I found out that this "insurance" that you get through this company is NOT insurance. It is a fake discount plan through another third-party scam company. Thankfully I got refunded and called my cc company to dispute. What a nightmare. Now people from other countries won't stop calling me. Another data grab. How is this legal!??

Very unprofessional

Went online to compare some BCBS rates. Got a number that appeared to be for BCBS to compare policies. Call that number and got to a page that had Blue Cross and Blue Shield across the top and appeared to state indicate it was to get your BCBS policy today with a box to the right stating speak to a Rep, so I clicked on it. Young lady came on the line, sounded professional, I told her i needed to compare rates and that I had BCBS. She stated talking about Aetna Insurance. I told her I preferred BCBS since that is what I had always had. She gave me lowest price for BCBS, then started trying to sell me on Aetna. I told her I was interested in BCBS, but she kept selling me on Aetna. I asked for a number so if I decided on this policy I would call her back and asked about her sending me this info so I could review and compare. She then started telling me we needed to fill our an application to get approved. I again asked for a number, explaining I would not be filling out an application to day. She then proceeded to asking why I wouldn't be filling out an application. Tried to ask for a number again and explained that if she wasn't going to give a number I would be hanging up. I then hung up. Immediately to a call back. This was a guy with the same company because he knew I had been talking with the lady. Tried to explain to him I just wanted info, wasn't ready to apply and had asked for a number and then hung up. He said I was being rude. I tried to explain that she wasn't answering my questions, just trying to sell me on filling out an application. He again, said I was being rude, and called me a fffffing a**hole. This came after telling him I wasn't calling his company on purpose, that it appeared I was calling BCBS but they have it so it calls them. He then said I must not be very smart. At that point I hung up. Companies should not be allowed to have calls routed to them when it shows advertising for another company. I then called another company that I had dealt with before, got the info I was looking for, talked with 2 very professional employees and had a good experience talking with them.

I totally agree with the previous…

I totally agree with the previous one-star reviews. Just doing some research. Thought I was on a genuine Health Connector govenment website (thanks, Google), and started receiving multiple calls from different numbers. If you read the privacy policy, they will SELL your information...all of it, whatever they have. I did try to email to opt-out and request they don't sell and delete my information by copy-and-pasting the email from the privacy policy, and it was bounced back. HELPFUL HINT: In the privacy policy the email listed omits the letter "L" from "health," so if you copy and paste, it will come back. If you add the "L" to health, the email goes through.

High pressure sales

High pressure sales. No taking time to research their recommendations. Oscar -- their so-called licensed agent -- got very rude with me when I questioned the rush in making a decision on the phone with nothing in writing. When I hang up on him--he sends me a text "Good luck with your high COBRA rate." The company proceeded to call me 5 times after that because I didn't seal the deal. Now I have to worry about my basic information is in the hands of crooks.

The only reason I'm giving 1 star is…

The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because I can't give 0. I thought I could just browse their website for prices and plans. As soon as I plugged in my info I get a call and a text. I texted 0 to opt out. But still within 2 hours I had 17 calls from them, different numbers. Even talked with 2 people about it and got hung up on. As of right now I have gotten 22 calls in less than 5 hours.

SCAM

Do not use this site! They will call you 50 times a day from different telephone numbers. I’ve blocked each number but they will call you from a different number each time. Not a reliable source for finding health insurance. Once you give them your number they will just sell it.

Made a Mistake

Made a mistake. Searched on Google for the health gov marketplace and for some reason this came up first labeled in a way I thought this was it ( apparently the actual government site was SEVERAL listings down?? )Was just wanting to see what options are available once a layoff goes into effect, and didn't think anything when a form popped up looking for name/dob/e-mail/address, etc. It auto-filled by Google and I just went in thinking I could browse.Within 10-15 seconds of that I got a call, and was very confused. The guy on the other end, Robert, was friendly and offering to look up gap insurance and gave me his contact number to follow up with to get enrolled in something for next year.He warned me on the line that I would be receiving MANY calls now. I told him I think I must have made a mistake, and started receiving spam calls while still on the line with him. He agreed, citing he just wanted to be transparent with me that I'd be getting a lot of calls from placesIt wasn't until after that I realized it was NOT the actual government marketplace. I've blocked 3-4 numbers that called, and one through text since. I also added the reps number to block as well, just in case. The guy I talked to seemed nice enough but once I saw how many spam calls hit I got suspicious and found these reviews here so, add this to the list.

Scam, very rude and unprofessional

It’s unfortunate that companies like this would prey on people who are striving to make a living and have access to good health. The so called agent was desperate to sell and when I did not give my credit card information, he had the effrontery to say “I was lying” that I don’t have my card with me. I’ve been in the sales business and if legit or illegitimate, this approach to sale is very appalling and no doubt a scam!!!

I gave them everything but my credit…

I gave them everything but my credit card information and I'm pretty sure that its a scam center cause they've been calling me every day for a total of 76 calls as of this point (only been 2 days and yes I counted). Don't bother with this site.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. Within hours I received DOZENS of calls from them from different numbers. You can't contact them by email because the contact they give does not exist. If you try and ask one of the callers about who to speak to about being removed you get hung up on. I suspect his is just a conduit to sell your contact info

Do not do it

Do not do it! Can i give zero stars? I called just for information and made the mistake of creating an account. never signed a document or agreed to anything. 310 dollars 3 days later and the next month 200 dollars both from my checking account. and it’s been hell trying to get my money back. They lie. Don’t Do It.

This is a total scam

This is a total scam, do not give them your email or phone number, if you ask them for their insurance license number they will hang up the phone. Total scammers with unscrupulous hearts will rip you off of your information to steal from you.

They WILL harass you 5-9+ calls/day - opt-out in Privacy link

Like others, I hadn't even gotten past the registration page when I got the first call. I LOOKED at their site on 4/22, & have gotten 5 calls that day; 9 on 4/23; and 1 today. Thanks to another review, I managed to find the Opt-Out Form. One of the callers, when I told her I was still *checking with my providers* to see what networks they're a part of, (I've only had 2 employers in the past 15 years, so network has been same) still tried to get me to look at plans with her. When I asked what part of "take me out of your system don't you understand?" she THREATENED me that she would ADD me to more lists!!! I did *not* swear at or name call her, & wasn't raising my voice since I had other family members sleeping (9:02 AM).

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

I was at work just looking around for insurance rates and when I entered my info they called me like 30 seconds after. they called me from one number twice then different numbers 5 times after that. I answered after the 4th or 5th call and told them I was at work and I will call later. The first time I said that I hung up immediately because... I was at work, duh. but the second time I gave them like 5 seconds after telling them that I'm at work and I will call them back when I can and they ignored what I said and kept reading from a stupid and very obvious script, so I just hung up on them. After I hung up the second, and last, time, the calls "seemed" to slow down because it was actually a few minutes instead of 30 seconds to 1 or 2 minutes until the next call. That's when I went on google and looked up whether it was a scam or not and saw this website about people with other similar experiences, some worse. I went back to the website and found their privacy policy and terms and conditions and actually went through them. First off, I've never seen anything so "professionally" SHADY in my life!!!!!! I saw the email they provided and, just as others have shared here, it was a non-deliverable address. I went on to keep reading and I found that they had an actual opt-out form, so I filled it out. I have not gotten any calls since I filled it out, but it hasn't been long enough for me to truly say whether or not it solved the issue, but they sell your personal information to different companies, such as your name, address, dob, social security, card info, etc. and even though this is a common trait in business, its still crazy that they give it up so effortlessly and people end up getting spammed with phone calls for DAYS. I'm really really hoping that they don't call again and that the otp-out form worked, especially because I only signed up less than an hour ago and I got at least 7-10 calls from random numbers all with 518 area codes, even tho I was applying for specifically mass insurance. when I looked up some of the numbers, I would get a link to lawfirms as the top result, usually indicating that they have had lawsuits filed against them in the past. I hope that me opting out this quickly decreases the probability of them selling and distributing my phone number to outside vendors, companies, etc. who will continue to spam call my phone. I think I speak for a majority of the people here when I say I wish there was a 0-star option. there should have been some forewarning about the spam calls, but those are the common traits of a scam for you lol.fyi, first 2 calls were at 5:57, 3 at 6:01, 4 at 6:03, 5, the first one I picked up at 6:09, 6, second one I picked up at 6:10. 7 was at 6:30 and 8th was at 6:36. then, I filled out the opt out form TWICE around 6:40. again, they were all (518) area codes, and the second three digits were either 518-362-#### or 518-350-####, after the initial double call from 518-467-6998.UPDATE: I have not received any more spam calls and it has been an hour. I think filling out the opt-out form worked. the opt out form is located in their privacy policy in the first paragraph and under the marketing section, hyperlinked in blue. UPDATE #2: It... didn't work. I have still gotten SO. MANY. CALLS. from these random, I have Verizon to thank goodness they have the call filter. I pay an additional 3.99/mo for them to filter out the spam calls but I get up to 40 a day at times. the email isn't valid, the opt-out form isn't valid. ugh, I wish I looked this up first before filling out this stupid freaking form on this website I swear to gooooooooooooooooddd
